Play a game that is kinda like this, where you have to min-max to survive the next boss. Issue is whenever you kill the latest boss the character/build you defeated them with becomes the next boss. So the next run you have to defeat your old build AND the boss after that without going too hard so you won't be able to defeat yourself on the next run.

If I learn anything from this game though is that there is always a counter to your idea of the best options. A summon build get nuked by an AoE build but an AoE build get counter by a tanky build. I had yet to beaten the game though, just way too hard for me personally though I like the concept.
