oh... space cowboys... ok....
It's an american game, of course it'll be limited to Hollywood stereotypes
Mutts limited in their fantasy, space = frontier
akchuly f4 even on modern systems can drop fps in some areas
>these are impossibly unattainable specs for half of Ganker
fixed
Does Fallout 4 actually look better than Starfield, or is this screenshot cherry-picked?
Not only it's cherrypicked but top is uncompressed screenshot vs a youtube screenshot
FO4 is an ugly game
seeing cowboy shit in starfield was such a bummer. hopefully it's only a tiny part of the game
It's one of the main cities
Looks kino
>Star Trek
>The Expanse
>Firefly
>Blade Runner
Yeah, I'm thinking kino
Wanna be a cowboy baaaaybey
You're a homosexual.
homosexual. Space cowboys are some of the coolest shit.
I guarantee every major sci-fi trope will make its way into Starfield. Aside from post-apoc. But fans will mod in a Fallout planet.
>I guarantee
muh big lie
>you see, if you took an uncompressed screenshot, the beard wouldn't look like complete and absolute trash anymore
Starfield beards are trash, I won't disagree but the comparison is disingenuous
Both are promotional footage Bethesda chose to showcase their games.
No. in-game screenshot =/= YouTube screenshot

And this is the promotional footage that Bethesda chose to showcase Fallout 4
Current-year Ganker simps for brown-and-bloom
Its hilarious
Bethesda really just added the 7th gen brown filter in their 2023 game
We at Bethesda Softworks created a brand new, fully realized universe. This universe is unlike anything you've seen before, and its scope and scale are truly breathtaking. From the densely packed cities of the future world to the sprawling planets, this game will take players on a journey of exploration and discovery. We have truly outdone ourselves with this ambitious project, it's a groundbreaking step forward for the gaming industry. The game is actually rendering an entire universe so to achieve this we had to cut some corners here and there but don't worry, this game will be epic. I hope y'all ready.
>fallout 4 can run on a toaster
holy shit you've never played the game
The bottom one is a better game
>is
COULD be
Toasterchad here
Fallout 4 did not run on my pc
You guys are actually forgetting what FO4 looked like. here's an ultra settings screenshot
I rather my game look worse in specific cases than for it to run worse all the time.
it's called "progress", chud
The only thing that looked bad in the Direct was the hair and some of the lighting on the skin. The cowboy and the black girl often look like clay models. The hair is atrocious, looks like playdough. It actually looked much better in the 2022 gameplay trailer. That screenshot that gets passed around of the character presets has a black guy with cornrows that looks extremely high fidelity, like you could see him walking around on the street. The same preset was shown in the direct, and he looks like he has no textures at all, his hair is terrible. No idea what they broke but I hope they fix it.
These are both hideous games.
how is it that the character models look even more waxy than before?
You can clearly see polygons here like in a PS2 game
its a robot so it doesnt have to be a perfect sphere
F4 can be a demanding game
It's one of the few games where RAM speed makes a difference.
And Bethesda RPGs benefit from an SSD probably more than any other game.
i have maybe 1500 hours on ps4 and pc combined for fallout 4
