Anon the hatred for AI art is 100% inorganic. It's just manufactured drama like the multiple instances of manufactured drama before it and the many that will come after. If current-day AI art had been around in the early days of this site anons would have instantly embraced it and used it to do all sorts of shit that would get on the news, like creating fake leaks of world leaders having gay sex and making normies believe it's true, or fake celebrity nude leaks and so on.

I dont mind if it actually lift the burden of developers/artists on things that dont really matter so they can focus their effort on aspects of the game that's important. But unfortunately games made with AI tend to be made by people who couldn't give much rat ass about making a playable game instead of just churning as much output as inhumanely possible, so the moment I see AI slop I treat it the same way as RPG Maker games with default assets - lazy slop that are not worth even pirating.
