What's so good about Chapter 2? The fact that the culprits had a standard motive that only happened in like 200 Detective Conan cases? That's not enough to make up for all the plot holes and the dumbest howdunnit.

It's extra funny, because homunculi logic can bring back everyone who died except Pucci, Aphex, the painter girl, and the old man.
