What controllers does Ganker use? My 3rd piece of shit DualShock 4 just breathed it's last and I'm sick of them at this point. I need something else.
Are the official XBONE ones reliable? I don't care about the analog locations anymore.

i just use dualsense
with ps4?
>Are the official XBONE ones reliable?
That's not their strongest point, no.
If you find DS4 too fragile you may be beyond saving however.
Not him but dualshit 4 is literally the only controller i ever needed multiple of
Anything pre 3 is nigh unkillable, 3 only had slightly worn sticks and dead battery after like 6-8 years (replaced for cheap, just works), joycons work great after replacing the crap sticks with non crap ones, pro controller is like new after minor cleaning, aqua shift xbox x controller still works perfectly fine and only with DS4 one got worn to the point it looks like it was used for like 20 years straight and another didn't even work
garbage battery life only makes it worse
I barely play games and every single duelshock 4 I've bought gets stuck drift within a year. Those things are built weak as frick
I use a xbox pad
but it really don't matter they all use the same parts anyways
nothing is reliable these days
buying pads is a lottery
Those hands have never touched a vegana
Maybe you should ask your mother for confirmation.
Look look.
Look guys, he disconnected.
Ha ha ggs.
lol
oh no
Look at the tv
lol
lol
>based/redpilled
>on the fricking controller
I feel like this is something only a LARPing female would think is a good idea.
>he paid extra for a standard xbox controller with a shiny coat of paint
>and forked out even more for that shitty engraving with that font
>he's too poor to afford controller with a custom shiny coat of paint
>he wastes money on gay shit
you constantly waste money on gay shit (yourself) and it's fine
moron, for that money you can spend it on controllers with actually useful features like back paddles and a rechargeable battery. Not a shitty engraving
>rechargeable battery.
available as an option on X controller either (except who fricking cares when AA rechargeables are piss cheap and last like 40 hours and if you somehow run out of all of them it just works wired without any batteries at all)
Put some clothes on fatty.
Still used a corded Xbox 360 controller. I don't like how thick the bumpers are (triggers are fine) on the newest Xbox controllers.
being able to hit bumpers and triggers with only one finger so much nicer to grip the controller if you aren't palming it and want to use the dpad
50% of xbone dpads misclick or double click. Series are better but still need a membrane.
Dualshock and dualsense keep getting it wrong. Even the confirm and cancel face buttons are still backwards. Best controller might be the switch pro.
>nintendo gear
never touched the stuff. seems like making it work with a PC would be a pain in the ass
You are the same fricking moronic moronic from yesterday arent you
have a nice day
Only thing I didn't like about the 360 pad is the D-Pad but its fine if you're switching weapons in Gears Of War or whatever. I think the DS4 is my favourite, it had drift a few years ago but I opened it up and fixed it, my XBONE controller feels nice but no bluetooth or batteries. I may upgrade to the Dualsense soon.
Xbox Series X controller.
It just works.
isn't that the one where the bumpers are like mouse buttons? a very shallow push with a click?
Hurr durr I'm a third world epic based 4chuddy so the best controller is the shittiest cheapest one
>best controller is the shittiest cheapest one
doesn't tell me much. which one are you using?
My xbox one pad lasted like 6 years but then the dpad gave in due to abuse from fighting games. Tried replacing the contacts but it didn‘t quite work.
The RB button on my xbox series pad stopped working after a little over two years, they use flimsy af plastic to engage the switches and it broke off.
Bought some third party replacement part and repaired it and now it‘s working again.
Make of this what you will.
Xbox has no gyro, they don't use hall effect sticks and even after practically admitting that their controller needs back-buttons they still don't have them by default.
Microsoft controllers are ewaste.
>no gyro
does that even work on PC?
Why wouldn't it
It works natively for COD and RE4, and even of it did not, gyro would be best on PC, when you bind gyro to the mouse, you get native-tier gyro for many games.
see
?si=vIdfFSedo9ltrXFv
Where gyro on PC is BETTER than gyro on PS5, cause gyro is basically mouse-aim, the gyro on PC that is working like a mouse is far better than what capcom does, which has sensitivity caps and large deadzones like it was a stick.
the only drawback is some games do not accept simultaneous mouse and gamepad input, but this can be worked around.
Ps4. Refurbished ones are cheap these days and work just fine.
I don't think the DualShock 4 price has changed in the last 5 years or so.
They are rising in price if anything, the genuine ones at least.
The market is full of bootlegs and the confirmed original ones come at a premium markup.
Could be but controllers for current gen are 80+ bucks while ps4 ones are 50.
Stop shoving them up your ass and they won't break.
My brother plays mainly on gamepads, despite being a pc gamer. He's used both types of ps3 controllers, a ps4 one, and several xbox ones.
The one hes settled with? Gulikit King Kong 2 Pro.
And his name? Albert Einstein.
>Gulikit King Kong 2 Pro
I have this controller but I find my self going back to the Xbox Series one. The buttons and triggers of the KKP2 don't feel that great, even though the sticks are amazing.
I use 8bitdo Pro 2, for it's great for its price, programmable back buttons are great and the only complaint is rather squishy triggers. I'll keep using it until a gamepad with symmetrical hall effect sticks and back buttons appears on the market.
>mfw my PS4 controller's analog sticks are shitting out on me
I just bought this one a year ago. I need to learn how to do solder properly so I can replace these shitty analog sticks with hall-effect ones.
Just increase the deadzone.
how?
NTA, but you can alter it in the profiles tab in DS4Windows
Why do you still use it? Steam has automatic drivers for DS4 and you can configure it in controller settings.
I can even use the sticks as a mouse cursor in desktop and use a pop up keyboard.
I use them primarily for playing Rocket League. For some reason the game doesn't do rumble if you don't have DS4 drivers running at the same time.
clean them, I had to do that a few times but not for like a year
I did, it's an issue with the stick's input reading.
How do you even break them? I still have mine working just fine all these years later
Using them a lot.
What do you play with a controller?
Almost every game I play. Lately it's been MGSV which really needs your sticks to be very responsive in order to play without getting fricked over for dumb reasons.
>Almost every game I play.
Ew. KBM is so much better it's hard to find a use for controllers.
in ur dreams there's almost no games on pc worth playing with mouse and keyboard besides valve shit
crpg autism isn't even video games it's just gambling
Sounds like you were traumatized as a kid by only having a console.
no you just had your games raped by halo
No PC gamer ever thought Halo was a good game.
yeah yeah we heard it all schizo
half life was never good blah blah
there has been only 2 good fps games ever
Sounds like a whole lot of controllertard cope to me.
okay but you're a bald homosexual
I actually have a full head of hair. Blessed hair genes.
PC Gamer here. Never owned a console. Reach was good. Rest was meh.
OP here.
first one started drifting like crazy, from what I read it just happens with some of them? deadzones helped at first but then the left analog just stopped working, pointed up always
2nd one was my own negligence, I dropped it
3rd (current) one... I dunno. I tried turning it on today and it just dies after like 3 seconds
I pretty much only use them for action games, soulslikes, nier, darksiders etc. mouse and keyboard for everything else.
>he plays soulsslop
you deserve every bad thing coming your way
frick you, eh?
I've been using my old Dualshock 3 controllers on my PC since 2009, they still work.
The Xbox Series S|X controller is the cheapest first-party controller. Get that one. The buttons are mostly clicky so it takes getting used to if you're used to membrane controllers.
It lacks features like gyro and hall-effect sticks but for PC gaming you won't *need* those until years from now.
> plays on pc with a controller
ok
> while sittin' on a chair
ohgodwhy
I use the switch pro controller because it uses usb c and is convenient.
My dualshock 4 got drift and I hate how limited the range of movement is on the sticks compared to the switch pro too.
decided to just throw caution (and money) to the wind and got this. i really like my gambit, but always found the cable situation a bit annoying, so eh. besides, i like the fightpad attachment, bretty good for saturn and mame emulation and fighting games.
can you put the right stick on the right?
so you can have a weird fricking reverse dualshock
only the left one can be swapped. i guess you could shave the plastic a bit so it'd slide in, but dont know if the contacts will read it as such. it was the first thing i tried when i got it.
that's so fricking gay
i guess if you really want the wiiu pro layout, just get one of these.
>back paddles
L3 and R3
Clown Core tier controller
>PS3 shell
>Xbox Dpad
It's as if they wanted to make the shittiest controller imaginable.
logitech does not care about controllers at all and don't even bother
if they did they could make the ultimate controller in little to no time just by simply putting their engineering autists at it
>under the sea
>under the sea
>colon be hurting
>behind the curtain
>i need some TP
All controllers should come with back paddles now, it's a game changer, you can't go back
what do you usually use a back paddle for? I've never had the experience
>make a controller where the whole gimmick is swapping things around
>but can't swap this one
why would they do this
>what do you usually use a back paddle for? I've never had the experience
Not him but I use the touchpad and the home button on my DS4 a lot. I rebind it to take screenshots, toggle reshade, toggle freecam, or some game specific thing. Like I'm playing Dragon's Dogma right now and I bound the lantern to the touch pad instead of having to reach over and press 1. When I played TW3 a few years ago I would bind cape/hood toggles to it for comfy immersion.
I've gotten very lucky it seems, both my DS4s still work fine. Best controller I've ever used honestly.
I'm on my third in six years, first one lost pressure on R2, second one had the analog shit itself and now this third one feels like it's starting to do the same. Shitty luck I guess
Just solder hall effect sticks to your controllers, how are you this dumb. They are like $5 for a pair on aliexpress.
>was really interested in the DS5 pro controller because of that cord locking mechanism, I hate how I can't charge my ds4 while using it, if I move 1cm the thing disconnects. especially now since Genshin has gyro support but you have to keep it plugged in which is moronic. But
>battery is shit
>analogs will still potentially drift
they had ONE job
just got one of these bad boys today
Switch Pro Controller with the D-Pad fix. Don't know why you would want any other controller tbh.
the frick is a dpad fix
I wanna use a game pad with gyro on nvidia shield.
What are my options here? I do own a dualshock 4, but I don't wanna shell out 150 bucks for an official USB WiFi adapter just to get the gyro to run.
I think the 8bitdo adapter supports gyro.. maybe
I used a dualshock 4 on my switch with the adapter and I think I used some gyro with it
Motion controls don't work on PC. Only on switch wtf?
that makes no sense because direct in put has working motion controls
that's what the ps3 controller used if I remember correctly
nvidia shield wtf
I'm having major success in my home with steam remote play. On my steam deck streaming from my PC adds but 10ms of latency (over WiFi nonetheless), on my big 4k TV via a dedicated steam link box it adds 20 ms which still feels great to play since my days of competitive multiplayer are behind me. Problem is the steam link breaks my chromecast so I'm gonna try the shield as an alternative. Plus the shield does 4k which the steam link can't.
I'll give it a try, thanks
hands down the greatest controller ever made. the weight, the feel, it's like griping a gorilla dick.
Does it have all the same touchpad functions of the DS4? like L/R and top tactile presses?
yeah
Bought an 8Bitdo Ultimate
It's pretty alright actually, I haven't tried the gyro though
3 DS4 controllers that just stopped charging. Garbage.
Never buying a Sony controller again.
In MH I bind run to left paddle, so I can run around 1-handed
>stopped charging
just replace the battery stop being stupid
at least it's not a dualsense where you have to worry about the plastic breaking and being impossible to put back together
personally i have a throttle i put up my ass, i primarily use it for racing games so i can change the speed at which im driving but it works for running in monster hunter too.
Not with that dogshit battery and drift issues it's not.
Gorillas actually have very small penises
xbox 360 controller with cable for PC, dualshock 4 for my ps4. Sue me.
360, still works
How's the dualsense dpad?
Who the frick uses d pads in current year?
I do
You don't? what the hell are you playing?
anybody who plays fighting games? (not me)
Using my FlyDigi Vader 3 Pro. Excellent controller with very responsive gyro.
looks mighty uncomfortable with those stubby legs
Not for me. Already had the Apex 2 with those extra analog sticks, they fit perfectly.
I have the PS5 controller, but I kinda regret buying it, the PS4 one felt more comfortable to hold
That's what I'm worried about. Dualshock 4 is definitely the most comfortable for me, that's why I put up with it for so long, but I really wish the charging port wasn't so flimsy, or that it had replacable batteries so I wouldn't have to bother with charging at all.
there's nothing stopping you from replacing the battery
just you have to take it apart
it's shit but it's always how it been with sony
soon that won't be a problem since europe
no no, I meant I want pic rel. it's much more convenient to just swap these out instead of having to charge it
true but it still won't happen regardless since sony uses fricking moronic leds and touchpads
lithium batteries won't go away and it's a cancer
Is the dualsense edge worth it for PC gaming?
those hands HAVE however touched 18 year old boywiener and ass.
>My 3rd piece of shit Dualshock 4 just breathed it's last
ive had the same ds 4 for 5 years. its worn out but it works perfectly.
there's tons of contradicting opinions online, some claiming they're indestructible, some break after 3 months from lying around.
it's a roll of the dice when you buy these things and I'm done gambling.
wait is it that fat americ**t moron that used to post his homosexual photos in splatoon threads
>outing yourself as non american
