Yes, he complains that the raids are hard and he should get good. But he also complains that raiding makes you waste a lot of time, and this is true, just running back is fricking annoying.

Back in my day, raids were a social event, and were the endpoint of a ton of communication and preparation between guildmates

WoW has the same problem modern Fromsoft games have.
The players are too good at the game (and have too much help from mods) that the developers are in a gay arms race with the playerbase to continually making harder and harder content to keep up with their skill level.
The issue is if you haven't been doing bleeding edge shit for the last decade you're going to have a really hard time.
It doesn't really matter for WoW though, it's not like you're forced to do heroic or mythic raids.

Anyone still playing blizzslop is a hopeless addict and is not capable of "turning against" blizzard. If you really wanted to turn against them you would just turn off the PC and go outside.

WoW raids are fricking time wasters designed around top players using addons to give them information that's not shown to players by default. Only Blizzard would be stupid enough to design gameplay around 3rd party tools that most people don't actually use or know about.
