No, watch the anime. It's genuinely one of the best of the past ten years. Especially the second season is 9/10. Anime ends right about where the manga goes to shit and has a nice climactic ending, so you can just end it there and never bother with any futures seasons if they ever do come out.
It goes downhill hard after the Farm arc. Kamuy has a lot of food and animal factoid autism but has one of the best villains I've ever read, it's ending is lackluster but not egregious, it's the pinnacle example of "it's about the journey, not the destination"
Kingdom starts very slow but has very good moments, it isn't finished though.
But the succession arc is worth the reading, after that its complete downhill.
