It can be great here. My earliest memories are decorating the house with black cats and fake severed hands during October and setting up a tree and Christmas lights along with a toy train that went around the tree. Good times.
Also there was a guy a few miles away that went all out with Christmas decorations. I'm talking reindeer, blow up snowmen, a moving Santa's sleigh and reindeer on top... Shit looked like it was straight out of a Christmas movie.

Hey either color would work. I'm pretty versed in mask making and can say with certainty that wouldn't be too bad. Hell, you could even get a basic mask from a craft store and just put model magic over top and smooth that out until you get the shape you want. Course that takes time and effort, so up to you. Buying a quality Shyguy/gal mask outright would at least save you on that and I can't imagine they're that expensive.

tres leches is pretty simple. The most complicated part is that you have to whip egg whites separately and fold them into the batter. The tres leches part is just milk, condensed milk and evaporated milk then you top it off with whipped cream. Tasty and decadent.

Yeah that would be expensive as frick. Keep cheap on the initial stuff, and later look into lycra or something. Zentai suits and the like, they're fairly cheap but they can make them to spec - used them for a few cosplays to great success in the past.
Always encouraging to see someone else get into the hobby. I started the same after years of not being able to as a teen, but nowadays it's a great side hobby, especially as a creative type.

People shit on Red Dead Online for good reason but in October between the community, the themed game events, hackers doing spooky stuff and the overall cozy RDR2 atmosphere make it an underrated October game The single player is great for it too but something about the online in October is max spooky/comfy
Play a short hike it's like a mix of zelda and animal crossing and is max comfy. I suggest turning off the pixel filter for better visuals unless you like it of course.
