Go look at 60hz and 120hz games / movies(not fake 120hz that some televisions do). There is a huge difference and anyone who says otherwise is lying.

60 to 144/165 is massive but going frkm that to 240 was much smaller in my experience

I have 4K set to 120hz and I don't notice the high refresh rate. It barely makes a difference gameplay-wise. 4K however makes everything amazingly smooth and it's great for multitasking when I'm not playing vidya.

Most people who prioritize framerate over resolution are coomsumers who don't use their computers for anything other than video games, and think that having higher FPS means they'll get better KDRs.
It's the opposite for me, I recently got a 4k 240hz monitor and the responsiveness is great but 4k hasn't wowed me compared to 1440p. There is a difference but is much less notable but the performance hit on newer games I do notice.
What size monitors? Depending on the size you started with and went to, it could make next to no difference.
The sweet spot imo is 4k 32", but if you go for 24" 4k it's going to be extremely sharp.

For desktop use the difference is immediate but games not as big, like it's there and I can tell further away stuff is cleaner but anything up close isn't. I notice the better colors and contrast (it's OLED)
I even had a friend look at comparisons with me and didn't notice much if any difference from 1440p without pointing it out.

Bl3 was worth it imo at like 20 dollars for the entire package.
Had to install the skip dialog mod but the gameplay is fricking amazing and the dlcs are waaaaay less cancerous in terms of story.
Mayhem mode pretty good too, and the last levels of it are fricking insane.
