What was different about GCN version? I only ever played the PS2 version.
massively buggy, half the framerate of ps2 and xbox, constant frame drops below the already cut in half 30, inventory has a broken item slot which can completely break your inventory if you don't use items before it hits the broken slot.
if you havent played the "new" Gauntlet, I would recommend it ONLY for the wizard. His control scheme is so fricking fun to play despite the entire game feeling like a minigame within the old gauntlet dark legacy.
Rogue was kind fun too but it's reall boring if you're not playing wizard
I just love how unashamedly arcadey Dark Legacy is. Modern devs would be too self referential, too self aware and too cynical to really capture that arcade feel
How has this not gotten a remaster or something by now?
Didn't midway games go out of business?
Netherrealm Studios is Midway
The would be WB games moron.
It really is. I remember playing through with all the classes just so I could see their familiars. Jester had the best, of course
Just not that frick awful version.

PAL gamecube version doesn't have inventory issues and can be bumped up to 60fps with cheats
Was tempted to buy Gauntlet Slayer edition. Worth it? Havent played since Gauntlet Legends on PS1.

I seriously want to get a cheap-Gamecube off Ebay just to play this game again.
Bruh it emulates great. 1440p 8xSSAA at 30fps on Dolphin.
Lame, I want to play it on the console like I used to.
get a wii, hack it,
and use nintendont to play it
No, I want a gamecube
In basically any game that offers it as a choice I'll pick a green archer after how much fun I had playing this game.

How hasn’t there been an indie clone that at least fricking attempts to emulate the original gun arcade feel?
We get so many fricking roguelites every year and yet no gauntlet clones? This genre has so much room for improvement.
