No. It isn't child, because they KNOW they can earn greater revenues by releasing a game during the 30th anniversary. And especially not when a 2025 release leaves just DLC to carry the anniversary.
There's also the fact they wait two years after a new console release to launch Pokémon on that new console. There's a replacement for the Switch coming this year, meaning it'll be 2026 before Nintendo make the kid-friendly update that traditionally launched around Pokémon's release (2DS even launched on the same day as Pokémon, remember?).

They haven't skipped a new Gen release in an anniversary year yet. My money is on them bumping their franchise overall revenue by delaying until 2026, but if you seriously want to think DLC will do a similar job at marketing the brand as a new game reveal+late november launch does, go ahead.
