they are shit. The starters have potential but who cares if they are gonna end up like the last 3 gens.
The recent starters (except Incineroar and Rillaboom) are great.

pokemon is returning to FAT and DICK SHAPED which means the series is in a healing process gen 9 will the be the first improvement in a long time
I like what they've shown so far, cute starters legendaries are well designed and early route mon are fun. Hopefully they finally give us some new info this week, this the latest I would expect it.

Annoys me that they went with another cat only two Gens after Litten, but whatever. Pretty alright design when you ignore that. Will definitely end up being the furbait starter so I don't really care about it that much. 5/10

I love him. The hair is a bit much, but it's the best starter design since Gen 4. Praying he doesn't end up as furbait. 8.5/10

Again, the hair is too much, but it will be my second pick if Fuecoco3 ends up shit. 6/10

A bit overdesigned, but it's warming up to me. I still don't really like it but I can accept it. Will probably be going with Scarlet anyway since I like the colours/theme/aesthetic more. 7.5/10

I dont really like the box legendaries. The Scarlet one is okay if it wasn't for the tire lodged into his throat. The Scarlet one looks too busy.
I like the starters. I'm choosing Quaxly because I he's the cutest but then again the final evos usually is the end all be all for me.
As for the newest revealed pokemon. I like all of them. I'm definetly going to use them all on my team but Smoliv is probably the only keeper, maybe the pikaclone too.
Koraidon is way frickin better than Miraidon, get that futuristic frick outta here. Although I will say that I don't really like the giant tire in the middle of his chest.
I'm holding off final judgment on starters until we see their evos. If I had to pick today I would pick Sprigatito just cause it's a cat (and if the leaked final form was real I wouldn't mind).
Pawmi is okay, it's kinda weird to see a fat pikaclone tho.
I hope Lechonk evolves into something cool. But considering it's probably a route 1 shitmon I am not getting my hopes up. I'm expecting everyone and their mom to use it and nickname it big chungus or something dumb like that
Smoliv gives me beta Johto mon vibes, I also hope it turns into something cool.
