I can't wait for this shitty gen to be over. Sooner they release this DLC the better, but they won't release it this month because of Christmas money. The funny part is this DLC will suck and be a nothingburger for content and the story they've been hyping will be underwelming. Perhaps I was too blinded by nostalgia to see how far the games have fallen.

I doubt it. The Crown Tundra came out in October despite that being the substitute for a mainline release, and that was way after IoA released (June). I think a mid-December release is inevitable at this point.
I just want them to give us the bloody release date, so that this bickering can end for good.
Gen 9 is already the best gen they have ever done and the new DLC will cement this with its awesome content.

I spent more hours in one run playing SV than any other pokemon game other than maybe GSC/HGSS, they did something right. and boy do I wish I got paid to post.
I'm excited for Part 2. Could definitely cement Gen 9 as a Top 2 Gen for me.

I dunno, they seem fine to me. They clearly need to do some reevaluating and find a good balance between graphical fidelity, world design, and gameplay progression, but the overall product wasn't terrible this time around. The series' strengths still shine through, the other elements are just in massive need of polish.
