overrated imo. He kinda took the 4th wall breaking humor and overly wacky characters thing that had been a trend on tumblr and distilled it into an actual product. I personally wish undertale didnt exist so its endless spawn of copycats and games influenced by it didnt exist

Based on Deltarune he's overrated pesud and the greatness of Undertale was lightning in a bottle or the result of more input from outside sources. Music is great across the board though.

Deltarune is definitely less amateurly written than Undertale, at least as of Chapter 2.
Don't mean to sound like one of his dickriders, but Deltarune is currently only 2/7ths (potentially 2/11ths) of the full game, so it's way too early to make any sort of conclusion like
