I'm curretly using Klee with Layla, Kazukek and Bennet, I think it's a very solid team.

You dont need Bennett outside of Abyss/Weekly bosses
You can run her with a lot of hydro/cryo support to get vape and remelt for massive damage.
I recommend switching Bennett out for Xingling or XQ, since they have almost permanent uptime on their bursts and can complement her pyro damage.
And if you wanted to remove Layla for a better healer, use Kok or Diona
Ok how much ER do I need in Xiangling? I tried using her before but her burst is almost always in cd
Treat her like a pyro Raiden, just stack ER and get a pyro damage goblet and you're good.
A decent stopping point before diminishing returns is around 250%.

Layla is better than Diona if you already have Xingqiu
Layla doesn't heal.
She doesn't need to. He shield is stronk. Xingqiu gives you good enough healing when combined with her shield.
It doesn't last very long though and there's a period of vulnerability between the shield disappearing and you switching back to her to use her E again. Layla isn't an E-and-forget shielder like Zhongli, so you do need to pay attention to the timing.
Well, that's what her gameplay is all about, timing. If you do your cycles right you can maintain her shield and her burst indefinitely. The better you are as a player the better she's for your team.

Nobody is, that's why he's a privilege archon character. She's close, and her element is much better. If you aren't a sucky player there's not much reason not to use her instead.
No it's not. Her shield is vulnerable to fire. Zhongli's shield has no vulnerabilities, has overall higher values, lasts longer, has resistance shred and if you're a whale and have him at C2, you're pretty much never not shielded. The element isn't all that relevant to Layla since her ult is trash anyway.

Not an argument. We're comparing C6 layla to C0 Zhongli here, I don't care about his constellations. Zhongli's shield strength doesn't matter, Layla has good enough shield for this game, and she has an indefinite shield so the fact zho's last long don't matter. In fact it's probably to Layla's favor because she can refresh her shield quicker. His elemental rez and personal damage contributions are his greatest assets and in that he beats Layla, but Layla has better energy regeneration, element application and also a small buff to normal attacks and charged attacks. Zhongli is selfish and can make the rest of your team anemic. At the end of the day, this is a team fighter, if you can't pull your own weight while also contributing to the team then you're trash.
Energy regeneration doesn't matter because Layla's ultimate is trash. Plus, this is wholly assuming you're even running a Cryo team in the first place.
I'm the first guy to say Zhongli is overrated troonery, but some teams benefit more from him than using Layla. Hu Tao, Yoimiya, Ganyu Melt, Spread if you don't have Baizhu, Eula...
Right now I run Layla with Hu Tao, it works, but I'd still prefer Zhongli for the general utility for Yelan and Hu Tao. I also happen to have Eula and Yoimiya.
Zhongli really depends on who you have on your account and shouldn't be pulled first, that's a given. But at a certain point of investment in your team, he has all the reasons to be put in.
Plus you probably don't want Layla in a vape team anyway.
She's not too bad in a vape Tao. Melt is also a good reaction and freeze is useful against some pesky enemies. I don't like running Hu Tao that much in abyss lately because it's waves and she hates those.
It's a damage loss if you have her with Dragon's Bane.
I have Hu Tao C1R1, Yelan C1r1, Xingqiu C6 atk focused. I'm good on damage.

For elemental application and double cryo is good. But dont forget geo gets better shields to all elements, Layla's only beating him out with cryo.

This is a completely wrong statement and Klee actually deals a sizeable portion of the damage in the Monopyro team, more than Dehya, more than whatever Pyro we have currently, and the difference between her and the new homosexual doesn't warrant wasting your primos because he's only good in mono Pyro, looks like a homosexual and Klee gas at least a spot in Burgeon.
Klee isn't an amazing unit, but lying and making her look worse than she is sucks ass.

Sounds about right. All the Archons sort of have "secondary" powers with the odd exception of Venti. Zhongli has a handful of unexplained abilities that seemingly have nothing to do with rocks, Raiden has mastery over space and perhaps time, Nahida has dominion over dreams and illusions. If Focalors can manipulate gravity, it wouldn't be strange.

I don't like Bennett and won't roll for Kazuha, so I use Klee Nahida Xingqiu Kirara instead. Very fun team

She's mainly seen as a shield support since her dendro application isnt that great.
Either 4pc Tenacity, or 2/2 Tenacity/Vouru
Get as much ER and HP as possible.
4pc tenacity wears off almost as soon as you switch her out so you really need to need and use that attack buff for it to be good

tenacity for general use, clam for electrocharged memes, flower for bloooming

Just run her clam and hybrid with EM HP/Hydro Healing.
Wasting your resin on her isn't what I'd recommend. Hell I run Kok HP HP HP clam, which is absolutely not optimal and I still 36* Abyss.

i tried with bennete but it doesn't heal that fast, like klee dies in one or two hits which is worse when multiple enemies attack you at the same time.
Should I equip things to benete to make him heal faster, or does his circle not work like that?
His heal scales with HP so just get all HP% artifacts on him if you only need the healing. The ATK buff scales with base ATK only so the only things affecting this are his level and his weapon.

is Overload ever going to be a valid reaction? I like fricking around and running Klee/Shinobu/Raiden/Xiangling and typically choose between Klee, Diluc, or Yoimiya depending on how I'm feeling but also recognize it's kinda stupid to try and build around overload.

He's good, although he does need well-built supports (mainly Faruzan) to get maximum value. Desert Pavilion Chronicle is his best set, obviously.
As for weapons, what catalysts do you have?
solar pearl, widsith, fav codex, could go for mappa mare too or the red book

The Widsith is your best choice there, I would go with that.
Build her with enough ER to burst off cooldown every rotation; 300% is ideal but you can get away with 250~ if you have characters with Favonius weapons to generate extra particles.
If you can give her some ATK% or Crit from substats that's great, but should be lower priority compared to ER.
How do you build her anyways? I have her C4 and I pulled Don Sombrero too

He is great, but he needs a lot more investment because he is a hypercarry and he will be doing 95% of the team's damage. So he deserves 95% of the team's equivalent resin spent on his domains for better substats, if you get my meaning.

From what you have, either solar pearl or widsith. Widsith is better and easier to get refinements but I don't see any rotation in any team being 30 seconds to have its buff up all the time.

For early game, give him 2 VV and 2 +18% attack. Mid game, give him a shimenawa 4 piece set which you should be getting lots of artifacts since half the game's support need an Emblem of Severed Fate 4 piece. For late game commitment, his dedicated 4 piece set should be the obvious choice.

Why no co op? I thought that its only client side.
Forgot to mention, texture mods are not considered game breaking or cheating, so in the unlikely case of you being dumb enough to get caught, first offense is usually a 3-7 day temp ban where you cant sign in.
It is, but its just safer to play that way regardless. The less interaction you have with people obtaining your UID with proof of mods is better.

gooba with 4pc emblem, also gives pyro resonance +25% attack
alpedo with 4pc archaic petra which gives pyro crystals when you pick up +35% damage
+ alpedos huge EM boost
Johnlee defense shred and with 4pc Millelith bonus 20% attack
geo resonance also gives extra damage while you have a crystal shield on ontop of the bonus your already getting
i would use klee, yelan (or xq if you don't have her), and two flex I guess. I usually throw kokomi and kazoo on all my explore teams
I went into Genshin blind at the beginning of July and I’m in Inazuma now. How do you know how to build each character? Some of it made sense to me like Yaoyao is obviously an HP spec because it scales her healing, but some of them I just have no idea

if its not obvious they want something specific when reading their skills chances are they want an atk% timepiece, their element% goblet, and a crit% hat

Klee, Jeannie, Kazuha and sexy brown wife Dehya is a fun team that interacts well. You can even do fun things like suck up all the little bombs with Jeannie's skill and shoot them at a opponent high up.
Jade Shield:

The biggest weakness Layla has is that there are no HP swords.

Honestly, I don't think it was ever just her. The weird thing about swords is that an HP sword has just straight up NEVER existed to begin with, not even among the Year 1 3-star weapons. I can't imagine that they were planning that far ahead with Nilou that they'd just pre-emptively straight up refuse to add in any HP swords at all. There were over two years before Nilou's debut and at no point was an HP sword ever added in, even from the very beginning.
There's a few other strange omissions. For instance, there's the suspicious absence of a Sacrificial Spear. This in spite of the fact that a Royal Spear exists. The Royal weapons share the same models as the Sacrificial weapons, just with different textures, so for every Royal weapon, there's a Sacrificial counterpart. Only the Sacrificial Spear is missing.

Anon, the abyss rotations are literally centered around Nilou. That's also why any anti Nilou abyss is cringe shit like Hydro Cryo Abyss Lecters or some other of that crap just to counter her without realising it also counters many others.
When you get a Nilou abyss like the current one, guess what, you can have fun. What's funny is that they counter Nilou but do nothing about Hyperbloom in any abyss and I think it's a much bigger problem than Niloom which is quite expensive to run unlike HB.
I only respect Quicken based teams anyway.
Not the point. I'm saying the lack of HP swords predates her. The lack of HP swords in Version 1 or Version 2 can't possibly be attributed to Nilou.
To be fair Dendro have been pretty much raping this abyss for most if not all of Sumeru rotations and since they're already become spiteful of certain parts of it (read: of Nilou) I can only fear how gay the 4.0 abysses will be and how forced the Pneuma/Ousia shit will be.
While true that the problem does predate her, it's almost inexplicable to release a 4 star and a 5 star that scale solely with HP and only release a 5 star weapon with no alternative 4 star in sight, I still haven't changed my mind, they've "nerfed" Barbara to shill Nilou and then proceeded to give her almost nothing. they've added another fricking ATK% bow first, who the frick needed that?

Baizhu/Alhaitam was an unexpectedly good combo, I didn't expect to like it as much as I did and when I level up my Yae (with the new 4.0 skill DMG set) it'll probably be on par with this Hyperbloom team. I've heard that C1 Alhaitam makes it even better but C0 will probably be just fine.
I think the most premium shit you can do with Aitham is Baizhu Nahida Raiden.
To be fair I want Baizhu for Aggravate teams and I'll run him with Haitham too. I just like my Nahida with Nilou.
I couldn't get Baizhu nor Aitham because one ran right after Nilou who I couldn't get first run and Aitham was with Kazuha whom I skipped a lot. But I always thought Baizhu was underrated, especially when people compare him to YaoYao. I have her C6 and she's still worse than C0 Baizhu imo.
The biggest problem with Yaoyao is that she's supposed to support Quickswap teams, if you have a DPS that you can't switch from, like Alhaitam, having her on the team is often both uncomfortable and a DPS loss since she has to be on field for the heals to stack up. Baizhu's lesser Dendro application is supposed to be remedied by another Dendro character, while he refreshes DM from off-field, thus making him a perfect support for Quicken and even Hyperbloom teams. Yaoyao, however, is still good on Nilou bloom with Instructor's and teams that have Raiden/Kuki to trigger Hyperbloom.
Ultimately, having a C6 Yao is probably like having a small, tinier Baizhu.
We already know from the beta that the craftable sword isn't HP. Maybe an event will give one (1), but I'm not holding my breath.
I don't know which possibility is worse, an event weapon that'll relegate into a single part of the abyss at most or an weapon banner addition that'll be purposely coupled with powercrept/niche 5 stars weapons. I wouldn't put the latter past mihomo.

Aside from her, the only other potential issue I could think of is Shenhe, but even then, I really don't think introducing a Sacrificial Spear would cause any significant issues at all.
