Literally every single thing is a giant mora sink on top of requiring spending resin on its own materials. You need an entire mora flower just to use the XP books you get from two XP flowers.

Every day, if you do your 4 daily chores and spend your resin you get 2,3k xp, so 23k mora just by the xp conversion. Add the mora rewards from the commissions themselves and you get 54k more, taking us to 77k mora per day, add the expeditions you reach 100k without a single resin spent on golden clouds. That's close to 2 free golden clouds per day, just by passive shit and the daily chores which you would do any day you log in to the game. Is it irrational to ask for a passive or semi passive way of getting XP books other than the clouds?

Moment of syzygy gives 550K mora per reset, taking into account that most people won't clear it with 36 stars. Let me do some quick math. 100k per day from dailies is 3M per month, just by commissions, expeditions and xp conversion. 2 abyss clears with not full stars is 1.1M. Every week one can get 150k from requests and bounties, 600k per month. Adding all that takes us close to 5 million mora per month, without spending a single resin. I didn't take into account the battle pass because that also gives XP books (even though at worse amounts than mora if you wanted to spend resin to get them) and because it also gives way too low compared to what I said above unless you buy it. Now, even if you get a new character once a month, take him from 1-90 (costs 1,6M mora) ascend him (costs 400K mora) and take a talent from 1-10 (costs 1,6M mora), you still have 1.2M mora left to do whatever you want. For a comparison, you have to spend the resin of 10 days to get a single character from 1 to 90.

You can clear floor 12 with 0 stars and you will still get most of the rewards (minus the primogems obviously). You get XP books, mora and artifact boxes just by clearing a chamber or a floor. >XP conversion is also a moot point since we're talking about below AR60.
AR60 gets progressively easier to achieve with every patch by adding new areas to explore, chests, quests but yet again, the xp conversion's equivalent on the monthly 5M mora gain is around 600K. >You're also ignoring the costs of raising weapons and artifacts.
Fine fine, more math for us then. From the 1.2M mora you get per month from dailies let's substract the 600K since not everyone is AR 60, that leaves us with 600K mora. Ascension costs are 150k for a 4* and the mora required for the level up are 600K. (Also forgot to add the free mora you can get from the teapot, 200K). So, we are around even. You can get the mora to raise a character to 1-90, one talent to 1-10 and a 4* weapon to 1-90 EVERY MONTH without spending a single resin to farm mora. I also didn't take into account the multiple events per patch that give on average half a million mora each. You still don't see the point I'm trying to make?

That always sounds so weird to me, I'm almost a day 1 player and I hit 59 in January, now I'm not even halfway through it. I get that some people play it more I guess but still
I started day 1 along with a couple friends. Friends didn't take long breaks like I did, one of them in fact can't have lost more than 20 days in total of missed log ins, they reached AR 60 one and a half years ago. Me on the other hand, took long breaks, two to three months at a time and I just played whenever I felt like, but I also go for 100% exploration on every area. Still a little short from AR 60, in fact I'll reach AR 60 in 2 weeks. It's not strange for a committed player to have reached max level all this time.

If all of them gave 5 primos, that would be 885 which is 5,5 pulls. But in reality a lot of them give 2, so it's even less. Just makes it seem super not worth it to run around opening nearly 200 chests for a measly five pulls. At least if you go out of your way to look for the ones you missed

Bosses primarily with weapon and talent mats secondarily. Bosses in particular because the only thing you miss out on are higher tier artifacts, their drops are more or less the same. The talent mats and weapon mats are secondary because you need some, but it's not worth dumping all your resin into it because you can't get the highest tier or even the second highest tier regularly until you hit 45 so do them when you need them and get your talents to around 5 or 6 if you can.
Makes sense also, i don't need to farm weapon mats all that much either since i'm playing hyperbloom so only EM matters for my current comp, and all my characters are pretty much as leveled up as i want them to be. Guess i'll farm bosses and talent mats for now.

She's the only dedicated 5* phys character, phys has very little support, and scales pretty terribly with current content due to most enemies having high phys resistance. Fontaine will probably be even worse for phys seeing that the enemies are robots.

Physical resistance has never been an issue with Eula, in fact floors with robots are her best floors since those frickers are massive, don't move around too much, and shit out energy

Not him but I found that Sac vs Fav is situational, for example in the Deepwood domain I use Sac so I can have 3 procs of her skill instead of 2 to clear out all enemies in sub 25 seconds, however for longer fights Fav can pull ahead with better team wide particle generation

You can clear floor 12 with 0 stars and you will still get most of the rewards (minus the primogems obviously). You get XP books, mora and artifact boxes just by clearing a chamber or a floor.

Fine fine, more math for us then. From the 1.2M mora you get per month from dailies let's substract the 600K since not everyone is AR 60, that leaves us with 600K mora. You can get the mora to raise a character to 1-90, one talent to 1-10 and a 4* weapon to 1-90 EVERY MONTH without spending a single resin to farm mora. I also didn't take into account the multiple events per patch that give on average half a million mora each. You still don't see the point I'm trying to make?

I started day 1 along with a couple friends. Friends didn't take long breaks like I did, one of them in fact can't have lost more than 20 days in total of missed log ins, they reached AR 60 one and a half years ago. Me on the other hand, took long breaks, two to three months at a time and I just played whenever I felt like, but I also go for 100% exploration on every area. Still a little short from AR 60, in fact I'll reach AR 60 in 2 weeks. It's not strange for a committed player to have reached max level all this time.
I haven't done bounties in almost half a year.

Assuming you win half your coinflips you can reasonably expect 75 x 3 = 225 rolls to get you two copies of the banner character. From there you can average that out as 112.5 for a single copy on average. 112.5 x 3 = 337.5 which I rounded up to 340 for convenience.
Like I said previously, weapon banner is trickier to estimate but you have a 25% chance of getting it on your first pity, and a 50% chance of getting it on your second. Then a 100% chance on your third. I figured that you would on average get it around your second pull which would be 130 at soft pity.

Bosses primarily with weapon and talent mats secondarily. Bosses in particular because the only thing you miss out on are higher tier artifacts, their drops are more or less the same. The talent mats and weapon mats are secondary because you need some, but it's not worth dumping all your resin into it because you can't get the highest tier or even the second highest tier regularly until you hit 45 so do them when you need them and get your talents to around 5 or 6 if you can.
Makes sense also, i don't need to farm weapon mats all that much either since i'm playing hyperbloom so only EM matters for my current comp, and all my characters are pretty much as leveled up as i want them to be. Guess i'll farm bosses and talent mats for now.

I got her on her first run
She's the only dedicated 5* phys character, phys has very little support, and scales pretty terribly with current content due to most enemies having high phys resistance. Fontaine will probably be even worse for phys seeing that the enemies are robots.
Also her burst is awkward to use
Physical resistance has never been an issue with Eula, in fact floors with robots are her best floors since those frickers are massive, don't move around too much, and shit out energy
Phys res is not the issue, robot floors are relatively rare, the issue is that she just doesn't shit out enough big numbers for being a hypercarry and her damage being backloaded makes her awkward to use against wave content, on top of being helpless against elemental shields.

Not him but I found that Sac vs Fav is situational, for example in the Deepwood domain I use Sac so I can have 3 procs of her skill instead of 2 to clear out all enemies in sub 25 seconds, however for longer fights Fav can pull ahead with better team wide particle generation
