obviously more EM is more better but you don't want to gimp the stats that will multiply the additional damage EM gives you, especially when EM is far easier to obtain via team buffs.

Because I do not care at all about co-op or multiplayer and do not care about showing off to other people. I just want to play the game and enjoy it without the balancing for multiplayer or multiplayer game modes. The worst parts of Genshin are the ones where I am forced to interact with other people and every event that asks me to co-op I always pick the singleplayer option. Co-op in particular feels annoying unless the other person knows exactly what to use and how to play so that your team works instead of diluc_gaming everything.
I welcome it nonetheless. I just wish I had people to play it with. I get very intimidated playing it with strangers.

There's a side menu in the quest menu where you unlock them with "keys" that you get from doing dailies
