I only have a PS5 and Switch (for now, might get a Series S at some point if Bethesda gets their shit together) so this shit would affect me but honestly this is pretty embarrassing on Sony's part. For one, Diablo would be an infinitely bigger loss than COD based off the quality of the series. They've got tunnel vision on COD which honestly isn't even good anymore. It's lost its soul. They could easily come up with an online shooter of equal or greater quality than what COD is now.

Zenimax games became execlusive once the accusation was complete including games that were promised for PS5 like redfall and starfield.
Sony has no reason to trust Microsoft to keep Activision game multiplat. The "sales loss" argument doesn't work because Microsoft can take it if it means destroying the competition.

This is silly for a number of reasons. Both companies are basically using off the shelf parts and making the same console. But more importantly, Microsoft is going to skip the pro console this time around and release a next gen console years before Sony so they can drop the mandatory Series S support.
