>get one shot at being an NPC
>have 3 lines of dialogue, all of which are about your shitty wageslave job
>spend sun up to sun down chopping wood
>boss can’t even pay you, store is nearly bankrupt because he just buys crap all day
>you saw him sell maybe 2 potions once
>live in the room above the store
>never go to the inn or talk to any other townsfolk
>just work sleep work sleep all day every day
>if your boss dies some random floozy walks in and takes his place
>you still get the b***h room even though she has her own house
>can’t even refer to her by name, programmers thought you were so insignificant they didn’t bother to update your 3 lines of dialogue
>if you die nobody even remembers or mentions you

Most realistic character in the game.

still better than fargoth and noober
Is it hard being moronic?
You seem to cope fine enough.
No one took over the shop in my game. He's still wageslaving though.
Truest simulation of a man
>If Belethor is killed Ysolda may take over his shop.
500+ hours in skyrim and didn't know this
Skyrim has some good ideas that they never really expanded on. I remember a necromancer dungeon where you could steal a soul gem to turn the spirits against the necromancer. I liked how it was a unique mechanic but at the same time kinda wish shit was a viable tactic against spirit summoners kinda like how you could pickpocket the heart of Briarhearts and kill them instantly.
Skyrim dungeons are like a theme park ride. Flavorful and appears exciting with gimmicks even though you are on a one way track that just loops back to where you started.
>gimmicks
yeah all 3 of them
You dorks are just being haters.
Why so negative? You loosers.
I said appears exciting, not is exciting. Most have some dressing to them to make them seem a bit different though nothing major. The actual mechanics of the dungeon draw from a shallow pool though.
Frick off.
Calm down, bucko!
There’s no need for such hostilities; we’re all fellow gamers here, doing our gamer things, such as: casual racism, casual homophobia, and voicing the opinion that older games are of higher quality.
That's one in ten of them at best. Most are generic copy paste jobs.
People would steal the soul gem more if they didn't cut out the weapon immunity of ghosts and aren't such pushovers.
>dont build your shack on this frequented path they said
If you knock something over in Belethor’s shop he will send hired thugs after you. Imagine working for such a petty and vengeful sleazebag.
>Everything's for sale, my friend. Everything. If I had a sister, I'd sell her in a second.
>Do come back.
>You and me, we're the only people who aren't complete fools.
peak comfy character, one of the reasons i enjoyed coming back to whiterun, his "do come back" with background music sounds so good.
if you kill belethor who takes over his shop? I just remember it being locked after the vampire dlc released and all of whiterun's shopkeepers got murdered.
According to the wiki if belethor dies his shop could be taken by ysolda
She takes the Bannered Mare
Does the Ysolda have any dialogue regarding this?
>>if your boss dies some random floozy walks in and takes his place
who?
Is Benor the best bro in the game?
