It's definitely a discord raid. I've actually beaten the game 5 times and once you do a 100% completion playthrough you start cutting corners. On playthroughs 2-5 I never fought the same bosses unless you are calling stuff like tree avatars bosses when they are just run of the mill enemies.

Giant is not fun fight. Two godskins is not fun fight. Sir gideon the allcoping is not fight. Dragonlord is boring. Even Maliketh is like he has so little hp and during first phase it's just luck if he wants to lets you hit without taking damage or not, and second phase is watching cinematic moves and then hitting feet.

I've been playing this shit for about a month now, and not because I was looking forward to it, but because it's a gift from my GF. I had swore to myself to never play anything like this ever again after beating DeS like a decade ago.
It's been fun and it does get better after a while. I was very pleasantly surprised when I found out that there was a proper dungeon after the first boss.
That happiness wore away when I noticed I had to go level up some more in order to not -suffer- that fricking castle that much. Essentially, I couldn't finish the dungeon in one run, had to go out and then come back later.
I'm thinking these games would be more enjoyable if there wasn't any experience system involved.
