Played them recently and they're very solid 3D platformers (first one's kind of gay though). I haven't been making threads though.

This would be the best outcome. Gex was all about TV but TV has changed so much and is so much self aware that it doesn't make much sense to have a game try to be that when it could just spoof gaming itself, there are very few games that did it
