Not much to say. It looks very scalable which is usually a sign of a good port, but then Nixxes has the best reputation of any porting house so that's not surprising.
5600 & 3070 for 1440 60fps is actually solid optimization on their part. Nice to see that not every PlayStation port is fricked into the dirt. Still not gonna buy it though.
it's funny seeing this cus when it comes out it'll immediately have an overwhelmingly positive reception on steam and people will say it's one of the best looking game ever made
screenshots are deceiving, it has obvious ps4 meshes but looks phenomenal in motion. The atmosphere is unparalleled for an open world game
>looks good in motion
until you turn off motion blur
i always thought it looked really bad. no Ambient occlusion at all and low res textures, flat lighting.
its only saved by volumetric fog during the sunset.

Game is very much made to be looked at in motion, with wind being such a crucia part of the experience. Combine that with the good sound design and the immersion overlaps its flaws.
From a purely visual point of view it's nothing out of the ordinary.
The irony is that I loved it on my ps4 in 30fps and couldn't wait for a PC port for better frames, but now I will play it on my Steam Deck instead at 30 frames yet again

I should be fine, especially with DLSS. But I need a new graphics card. Can't believe I fell for the 4070TI meme, was a bad decision. I want the 5000 series cards to come out though, as the 4000 series in general kinda sucks.
And when the 5000 series come out you will buy a 5070. A year later you will be saying the same thing and waiting for the 6000 series. Or you’ll buy a $2500 5090 to avoid this. Nvidias entire product stack is based around getting you to buy the flagship.
Unless the 5090 or 5080 is ridiculously expensive I'll be getting that, or wait until the 5080 super or some shit. Obviously if they want $2,000 they can go frick themselves, but knowing Nvidia they will probably do that.
>need a fricking $4000 PC to play a shitty PS4 game
Goddamn 4k is such a wasteful meme, it was a meme almost a decade ago and it still fricking is. It literally exists just to waste people's money.
Speaking of Sony PC ports, I recently got Uncharted and it was the first game where I had to lower texture quality to medium settings while running at 1800p with DLSS Performance on my 2070S.
2070S has 8GB of VRAM, but the amount of VRAM was not an issues. In both RTSS and in-game settings it showed that used memory was well below the limits.
But the game is still run like shit at specific moments with textures on high and ultra.
I wonder if that has something to do with bandwidth.
Why do you type/sound like a R*dditor?
a what?
he's a marketer
have a nice day you attention whoring c**t
what??
I'm literally shaking
bump

I guess I'm fine

>3070 for 1440 60fps is actually solid optimization
not when the game looks significantly worse than Horizon
well I can run Cyberpunk pretty well, so I should be fine unless they really frick the optimization
Looks like I can, but since I never close my browser with 1000+ tabs all games run like shit anyways.
>4080 for a 2014 looking game
good lord what the frick is this shit
one of the visually noisiest games ever made. nice art style though
snoys always overhype their turds
No excuse for these system requirements.
GTA V unironically looks better and runs at 60fps maxed on a 1070 lol

Jak and daxter looks like THAT!?
weve come so far!
woah
the power of the 4080
Yeah PCgays shouldn't expect much, they're just porting over a 7 year old game after all.
it really is so incredibly sad
ew wtf is that?
>BUT MUH REVIEWS
frick off moron
>ew wtf is that?
its stunning. better buy that $1000 GPU to experience this.
Dang!
truly a game that can only be enjoyed on the 5090!! totally organic posts ITT and not at all shills
I do not remember the game looking that bad, I played it in 60 fps mode on my ps4 pro when it first came out and thought it looked great.
smoke and mirrors much like killzone 2's and alan wake 2's graphics

sunsets and excessive particle effects carried it hard
Oblivion ahh trees.
I thought that was a FFXIV screenshot from the thumbnail
on 1080p 60 fps? Looks like it

damn, that's crazy
I'm still going to have fun playing the game
Ok Thanks for warning (I seriously don't understand why people think that a spoiler should ruin a story for you).
because some people genuinely think the point of a story is to hear the end of it instead of enjoying the whole experience
Poor mans Rise of the Ronin
you're allowed to like more than one thing
I will play samurai and ninja on my PC and no one can thwart my fun.

I am waiting to change my 1080 to the 5090 but I would love to know exactly when it is going to come out.

yeah, at max
I'll play it when someone mods some of the b***hes to not be hideous.

Yes.

Yep, I'm thinking Capcom's fricking garbage.
10 times better than dd2
>confirming that this 5 year old game looks better than dd2 but thinking it's a gottem
ohnononono
it looks terrible
My first playthrough was on Kurasaowa mode
Cannot fricking wait to replay this on PC.
It runs at 60 fps on my PS5
at 720p
>needing more
Sad!
No, I can't
What the frick were they thinking?
High preset here.

I'm running a bit low on disk space here
Delete some of your porn
I will not.
1070 and i5 7600. I mostly play older games, emulated stuff and TF2 because I'm a cheap bastard.
Already played it on my ps4, one of the best game that released in the last years.
Im happy for all the pcfrens that can afford a rtx2060
I can run it but I have no intention of playing it. It's boring.
Frick off, nobody cares about Ghost of Tsushima. We only care about Bloodborne.
Port. Bloodborne.
No chance, a non-negligible amount of PS5 sales unironically come from just Bloodborne.
No, PS5 owners can already play Bloodborne. It won't move any consoles.
On PC it'd sell 5 million easily.
>literal weeb game
I have a peanut brain, the difference performance wise between a 4060 and a 3070 is considerable?
no anon just buy the 5090 later this year
>later this year
Read this:
The 5090 will not come out this year but in 2025. I imagine they will price it at around 3000$.
Speaking of Sony PC ports, I recently got Uncharted and it was the first game where I had to lower texture quality to medium settings while running at 1800p with DLSS Performance on my 2070S.
