Ghostwire, is this any good? I just got a PS5 and it's only $20.

I've never played Skyrim, but I thought this was an action game. Ain't Skyrim an rpg?

empty/abandoned tokyo/shibuya night-time walking simulator, with a dash of paranormal events and lots of cute cats and dogs that you can pet.

also, lots of japanese folklore if you're into that sort of thing

Wait what? How come I never heard of this game before? Is it kino? I’m on a cyberpunk binge how does it compare?

It's a decent $20 game but I regret spending launch price on it. Still it's a comfy empty japan walking simulator with nice visuals and a flashy but clunky combat system. Also has some great tracks in it

Is a walking sim a game where sometimes some of the gameplay occasionally involves the character traversing from one point to another?

usual gameplay is explore zone, do some quests, rescue souls, fight random enemies, purify shrine which lifts the fog and unlocks new zone, advance story
later on you can jump to roofs and do parkour instead of walk

It is not great. If I was being charitable, I would give it a 6/10. The game fails as a horror game as the "horror" segments don't actually put the character in danger. The game fails as an action game because the action is very simplistic. Enemies walk toward you very autistically and don't react to your attacks. You don't ever expand your skillset, you're stuck with 3 very simple attacks the whole game. The bow also sucks ass for no reason.

The story is fine, it's definitely very Japanese, kinda feels like an anime. The world is pretty cool and once you get the ability to summon a tengu so you can basically fly anywhere it can be pretty fun. But I don't recommend the game for purchase, it just isn't very good.

Did they maybe add a fov slider and chromatic aberration disable over time?

Chromatic aberration (and film grain) can be toggled off, FOV is not an option in-game but I think you can change that with unnofficial tools.

It's a pretty good way to tour Shibuya if you're agoraphobic.
