My problem is I haven't gotten myself comitted to understanding synergies between certain Dolls' skills. I do rather enjoy Minos punching things in the dick though, and she's quite tough with a maxed armor plate and the Flash shells.

Just settling at the start doesn't give much score, but if you don't want to actually bother with the map go ahead. I know there was some anon who did it until he got all the rewards, it took 370 rounds I think.
Yeah this ranking map sucks. Played it through three times, nothing really different in each. I somehow cored 78k in the second run, and can't beat 28k in the others. All it's doing is draining the frick out of my ammo and ration resources while all but three enemy echelons are actually impossible to beat.

Honestly you're probably shooting yourself in the foot. Instead of ads maybe even FNC would deal better dps. Type97 also suck ass generally. Your ar15? M4a1?

7-6 gives you RO one of the best tank smg at 5x link and lvl90.
8-5 unlocks the HOC which you will need and takes time to develope.

Also i feel like your doll's skill level is also low. Start a skill training whenever you stop playing for a long period of times.

Then have M4A1 between the two ARs and switch off ADS for her. Instead of 97 i would probably use AR15 if she is also lvl 90 at 5 links. And give ar15 the gold HV ammo and scope from 97 or M4A1. Your fighting power will get a lot better. Also AR15 and sopmod can equip 2 accesory at the same time and usually are run with a VFL and EOT. Yeah. I know it's RNG heavy. But at least you get 20 ticket per week that you can use up during that week. So don't forget to spam it. Especially during rate ups.
Also for HGs. You could probably use MK23 and SAA instead of those 2 five stars. There is nothing wrong with them, but are meant for niche echelons that you don't really have access to.

They indeed are.
45 has a generally good stat distribution making her a solid tank. Mod1 upgrade also dropping more stat points on her in the right places.
SOP is mostly great because like ar15 can equip 2 accesory and with them she could end up having better dps than other dolls, before their boosting skill activates.
M4A1 is kinda good, especially for a beginner and once you do her neural upgrades (mod), then she becomes one of your key unit. At Mod2 and 3 she may end up being in your farming teams too. (her skill 2 is a special attack that activates if there are only her and 2 other dolls in the team that can wipe some of the enemy teams instantly.)

Absolutely not. You should be doing your daily equipment quests fishing for gold.
Also, what's your Anti-Rain team like? M4, STAR, SOP, and RO should be carrying you much of the way. UMP45 and G11 are also great, and all these guys wind up top tier once you mod them.

You're going to need better equipment for sure, and better Fairies. Prototypes are only okay if you don't have anything better, and putting suppressors on RFs is a total emergency measure. Luckily, there is a general rate-up coming soon.
Goliaths are mostly a DPS check, but you can make it easier with smokes/stun skills. If you have some form of stun and a shield SMG, you can retreat everyone and let them blow themselves up on the shield.
Going over lvl 90 is a waste of combat reports IMO. Costs a lot, and only gives a handful of stat points.

Hell no, even 4* is a long shot. Go for gold if you can afford to. Even 4*10 crafts can get you some gold equips.
The loose minimum necessary to be able to beat all enemies is 2RF, 3HG, 1SMG, 3AR. You need these at least at skill 7-8, level 90 max enhanced with 5 links, and with max enhanced gold equipment. You are basically given most of this with the beginner rewards.

What the other anon said. In the early game CE can somewhat help you guess, how strong enemy are but are easily overinflated by certain stats. Like mgsg could hit 60k but looses to a 25k scout stack (evasive fricks) because you will miss 99% of the shots.

Is there no farm map? I've done everything but the EX versions of the maps ex1 dummying a 58000 power echelon is boring and there's no infinite map to run, nor alt paths for farming. I'm not solving the same basic puzzles hundreds of times for boxes.

As a new player who just started a week ago, how do I go about getting teams that can clear Poincare normal before it ends? I've been building an ARSMG team, have them all 70-80 at 4 link and around 12.5k combat effectiveness, but I'm running into missions that seems to require RFHG comps. Should I bite the bullet and start building up team 2 already against every guide on the net, or is there something I'm missing?
What chapter are you stuck on? If you're on the last 2 chapters maybe you can clear it with a second team but otherwise you'll probably won't make it.

Those must be stupid guides. You should always have multiple echelons that are good and powerful. ARSMG, MGSG, RFHG, and night echelons in particular. Most autobattles require two echelons anyway, so it's not much more work to train them. There are enemy echelons you're not actually meant to fight as well.
Sounds normal. RFHG is the next thing to build after some decent ARSMG teams, and it can be a hurdle since the game is stingier with free RFs compared to other gun types. As you noticed, eventually you reach a point where good rifle teams are effectively required for progression, about when Guard+Jaeger enemy compositions become common[lace. For events, it's a given.
Not sure if it's the case in all event missions, but most of them have supports disabled, very rude to latelets.
I'm level 133 so I've been playing a bit but I still haven't quite cracked the nut on how to build legitimately good RF teams. Seems kinda finicky to me.

What exactly do you need to "crack"? Grab your favorite top tier RF raifu and build the recommended supporting cast around her.
My go-to is 88 Mod and KSVK Mod simply because I like watching them go all gundam on everything. Another ranking pair is Grape and M200. But really, almost any decent RF who isn't trash can work.
I'm gonna give another think about who I pair with HS.50. Currently it's Type 88, Contender, DEagle, and Webley, but I'm not really using buff tiles all that well like that. HS.50 is a Deletion Cannon, till she hits that 5" cooldown. She's probably a niche pick anyway but damn she can rip through things.

Explain to me where in PR the GRIFFIN base gets attacked. I just finished chapter 4, and the only parts relevant to the GRIFFIN base were with Persica, that one old chick, and Kyuger talking.
Base getting raided was even foreshadowed when Griffin agreed to send additional assets to SKK & Co. I haven't even gotten to the part where it gets raided but I seent it coming.
Neat, and I'm gonna keep your build in mind (not that I've invested in my sand fairy but eh). And likewise my MG/SG echelons took some hits but Archi and Co, in a full day's clear for boxes, the Manticore suffered 42" worth of damage. 1 manpower and 1 spare part. That's it.
Sand fairy is partially in the picture because I don't have the autism needed to properly dupe and train up more appropriate fairies for the echelon, and the passive skill I rolled is good. Maxed out sand fairy active skill is really handy in things like ranking maps, or when you've run out of turns and happen to be next to a high ranking enemy. I've largely left her in because she works real well with the echelon.
I'm going to have to train up sandcatgirl then. I've got my XP and Rescue fairies both at 100 with max skills, and a hodgepodge for the rest of em. I need to finish getting my Sniper fairy (lvl 45, skill lvl 8, Fervor talent, 3*) because I know she's handy af, but there's so many that properly prioritizing is difficult for my adhd (undiagnosed) ass.
The quotation marks are there for a reason. That echelon is "weak" in that it has the lowest CR of any of the anti-armor echelons I currently have running. Conversely, I think this echelon had the hardest time with it, by which I mean they had nonzero damage suffered at the end.
I think the only screenshot I still have is of a RF/HG team with 30k, and I think I had most of the meta garbage at the time. Though this was also over three years ago now.
I have to say I don't see the point of the base raid from a story perspective if you're not going to kill off kryuger or helian. It's basically an inferior repeat of the singularity to ligma suffering arc to make it seem like something is happening.
Mica wants to finish gf1 story in the next few events so the point is probably to destroy g&k main base for good. We'll likely see g&k as a whole get dismantled soon, since it isn't a thing anymore in gf2.

Did you not bother with the supply line at all?
Took me a few rounds but that's what I did and just held it. I didn't invest the time to hold that and have a unit or two go expeditionary, and also I don't know how to make optimal exchelons for it. Basically I used my HOCs and a couple of Sangvis units alongside ARTeam and some other random shit. It's amusing having four kinds of ordnance flying in. Also, FO-12 was fricking ridiculous. She beat out my MGs in the echelon she's in more often than not.
It took me a lot of experimenting to figure out what teams to use, especially against those annoying death ray units. Turns out armour counters them quite well, and I ended up relying on that as much as my limited amount of 5* plates and +armour Fairies would let me. I even fielded Barrier for the aura.
Other than that, I had some rifles, only one ARSMG, 2 HOCs, and the rest was Sangvis. I really have to commend Gager here - I didn't think much of her at first, but her debuffs are surprisingly useful. She turns armour into tissue paper and that's only the beginning.
I'm going to have to experiment with Lady Knight more, then. I invested in her skills but hardly ever used her. My main is Architect (indeed, the first and only Oath except bikinitect) with a host of Jags and a Manticore, and I usually have a second SF echelon loaded but it greatly varies who I use and in what comp. I *finally* got a full-link Jaeger_SWAP (XL too!) last night so that'll be fun.
If you have Alchemist, invest in her. She'll roll over just about everything that isn't specifically designed to counter Coalition Units. Hell, she's got a good shot of even stomping those into the ground.
I played through most of the final story chapter with 5 hours left in the event, then gave one run before I had to sleep for the night. I didn't get to the supply line because I was conquering upper right and defending lower right, plus got one too many RNGrapes with an accidental out-of-moves situation leaving an echelon next to three hostiles, with of course the invincible 3000000000000 strength murderbot group being the one that moves to my poor squad so I just focused on the fights and the XP grind.
So I was browsing twatter and came across a post that reposted four different fanart pieces and in one of them, a comment was "Cabbage got harvested"

you clear most of that in a single drag run
its the building things, trainings, batteries, and capturing you have to be studious about
it becomes second nature after a few times

It runs markedly smoother and cooler on my Galaxy S10e. I'm pretty happy so far, we'll see what happens when we get another ranking event though! I like the new transitions and the minipause when you tap a unit in combat.
You obviously don't even play the game. You only do a handful of those things, they are the list of possible dailies. The battlepass doesn't add new missions.

Yes. F2P friendly. You get enough gems fast to unlock 6 slots of echelons (or 10, 14 should be considered late game goal)
The repair mechanic may get in the way of early game but after a while you get enough quick repair. For early game it's better to use low stars like fnc, m14 you also get some of the dolls pre leveled like m4a1, ar15 who are solid to use. It's recomnended just to rush throught normal stages until 8-5 with friend echelons to unlock all features. Then proceed however you like too.
Most common ARSMG team is ar15, sopmod, m4a1, sten and skorpion. If by off chance you get lots of ump45 drop and Vector from construction you can consider using them. But the core hell can be brutal if you start dummy linking 5 stars with cores.
Look up guides, some of them are out dated but corpse dragging are still one of the main source of cores early on at low cost.
Also do as much of the events you can. Don't worry if you can't fully clear it.
Also if you read the story, then you should know that the writes enjoy the characters suffering
It's F2P, and very friendly at that after all the semi-recent updates and changes. Just playing the normal story stages will now give you career quest rewards like pre-leveled and dummied dolls and tons of dosh.
Also remember to post your fren ID so you can get a bunch of us nerds as friends. That's how you get friend echelons to help in missions, and some of these fools have insane teams on offer. As an added bonus you can "visit" their dorms and get free batteries up to 10 times. Max is 14 per dorm visited and it depends on how many dorms that player has.
Looks like the improved droprates affect equipment as well. Autobattling Deep Dive's last mission now regularly gives me 4* gear, while before I'd only occasionally get one piece.

I have every fairy maxed too, and when they release new fairies or dolls I max them instantly with saved CRs. I wish there was a more active way to drag SF.
Same, I've done all the 5* and all the HGs and most of the RFs. Then I'll finish off the 4*s. I'm also calibrating most of my equipment. It's not exactly something to do though, it happens in the background.

Ever since 3.0 I've been getting missed pings for my logistics so most days is usually a login in morning and evenings to clear dailies. And sometimes I just forget to start the new batch

Yeah my logistics haven't pinged properly for a couple of months I think, but it suits me since after 3.0 it's impossible to get below resource cap since fairy rolls are guaranteed you end up doing less of them.
I got my 3rd oreo. Only spent 1 capture for #3. Spending my caps on Deerstroyer, but still resetting the rerun map when it comes up, and oreo eventually popped up as one of the 3.

Logistics missions just give you supplies. If you want to grind affinity, you have to do active combat missions (autobattle does not count), put them in echelons that have dorms unlocked, go to the dorms and click their hearts like the other guy said. They'll naturally gain affinity over time just by being in a dorm. You can also feed them sweets, but you typically only get those from special event stores and by trashing furniture. At the newbie level, the only furniture you'd want to trash is the dorm defaults, and you only get the lowest effectiveness items from that.

Just view the story stupid. It's going to be a year or longer before they put the event into the campaign tab. They haven't caught up and put the past few events in there either.

I've never gotten the luffberry chess quest from a refresh. I was under the impression that each quest slot only had 2 or 3 possible quests, i.e. that the first one was always kill 50 enemies or win 8 battles with S ranks. Regardless you don't need to do every weekly or every daily to max out the protocol, you only need something like 5 dailies for 3 weeks to hit level 45 and that's only if you want 24 tokens/month.

Many in gfg believe that if all the trash mooks are killed the capture is a succ rather than hp but I've personally have seen it fail one time, but every other instance where the mooks died I did capture the ring leader so it might have been a one off

Just keep pumping through the beginner quests and they'll give you better dolls and fairies and combat reports to level more dolls, then you should be able to do it. I'd recommend not reading the story out of order because it's excellent and benefits strongly from twists and turns and so on. My main problem is i build a nice squad then i get new dolls that fit better with their buffs and i replace them, then i get better star dolls and i replace again, so every squad besides the 1st who are the OG homies, gets replaced slowly. And they remain with low skills and links because im out of cores.

Oh damn its the whole storyline.
Don't bother with high rarity units early, you won't have the cores to link them. You can do enough with lower rarity units, and they have the benefit of being easier to dummy link too. You can also use friend supports to carry you through the main story.
Some of the 2* and 3* units are fricking gangster, don't count them out. Makarov, PPK, M1919A4 (just avoid looking up her artist), Skorpion, and Tokarev (just to name a few) are great and acquit their duties admirably.
Don't worry too much about rarity, some low star dolls are great. The first echelon I got to lv90 only had 1 5* the rest were 2*-3* and it did just fine.
To add to what the anon above me said, M14 is also a great rifle for a 3* and has a mod later on that makes her better than nearly all 5*, she's definitely worth raising.

They use an equipment named peq, dunno if that's what you have since I'm kinda out of the loop with the new equipment but if it is you might not have yet leveled them up enough to unlock the slot where you can equip it.

CE is unimportant. It doesn't actually mean anything, the only real purpose it has is to show you where the deathstacks are. Use SLAP ammo against those, they have 300-400 armor or something.

The nuking isn't 100% important. I figured it out by using them as bait to lure the unkillables away from M16. Didn't immediately realize they also nuked them as that wasn't the important part.
I just finished the FP story. What a disappointment, almost nothing actually happens. All the good guys team up in one way or other to infiltrate William's Paradeus base in the Dead Sea black zone and rescue Ange, but she doesn't want to go because she doesn't like that her boss wants to subordinate the bad guy rather than destroy him and the event just ends with that revelation. Am I missing something? This is supposed to be a major event, but even the old small events like Cube+ and Deep Dive had more story.
You're not missing anything, this story event was straight fricking ass. Every other story event was either good or at least decent and left me waiting for the next one, FP was just straight ass that managed to avoid concluding a single major plot point. Not even crossdessing J could salvage it.

I'm glad that G36c has powercrept ROMOD. I hated that RO was always the best choice since the old main tanks got powercrept by new content and the new ones are all gimmicks. Also RO is a really boring character.

Played luffberry for the first time in months. It's still slow as hell, the custom match UI still freezes the game and mica changed the gachapon system so you can only get up to a weeks worth of tickets in one day. Does anyone even play it anymore?
I've only play AI matches. Then I can drag out the matches while doing other things to milk the most points.

Never. With the exception of pp-93, they've always run enough theaters with one HOC before introducing the next that you could get them maxed out easily as long as you aren't in the lowest of low rankings.

Play every day, do whatever zone you can manage that nets you the highest score, complete all the conditions for each fight if possible, try to maximize CE against bosses and most importantly...
There's the investigation bit every day, where you gamble resources on one area. Each area gives a different amount of points, and the area that had the least amount of people gamble on it gets extra, the area with the most people get less. C has the highest base payout, but there's a chance of getting fricked. It's all gambling.
Unfortunately, a lot of theater ranking is prep time. You should be entering it with the a wide variety of dolls with a huge armory of EQ and a good selection of HOCs and 5* fairies, etc...
That being said, GFLAlarm takes a lot of the guesswork out of selecting the optimal builds with what you have for maximum points for each boss map. I don't know how people do it without spending half their lives pouring over speadsheets.
You can run it on a PC. It has a proxy server so it can sit in between your phone/tablet and the internet. It does a million things, but I only use it to build theater teams and calculate optimal HOC chip tetris.

Advantaged dolls just get a boost to their stats (which increases their effectiveness against the boss/your score), you don't actually have to bring them, in some cases even with the advantaged bonus they're still worse than other dolls.
There shouldn't be any optimal battles so far that require 2 SG's. Greez does the math for you so you know which maps offer the most points every day, which isn't necessarily Advanced.

Advantaged dolls got nerfed the last 1-2 theaters. They used to be mandatory. Now their bump in CE doesn't necessarily make them the highest CE, which is a good thing as they were usually trash.
Even so, the random dolls you're including for CE should just go in the reserve slots, so no worries about synergy and whatnot.
Have you tried being helpful? We are all here to share information, so if you have alternative resources that show the optimal theater maps to pick, then we would all be grateful. No need to gatekeep.
Using advantaged dolls to stack points isn't the best idea. Do check if they give more points but most of the time they don't. (Unless the boss has weakness towards their class and they got SPEQ)
I've been misunderstanding the fairy toggle status this whole time and haven't been using it since the start of theater. I've only worked it out after struggling with INT8 and wondering where the sniper damage was...
ACTIVATE = it's turned on.
CANCEL = it's turned off.
It should really say ACTIVATED/CANCELLED, or just simply ON/OFF.
Using the fairies then starts taking away from your total fairy points as you might expect. Before this, I just assumed it was resetting each round as part of some dumbing down, quality of life change or something.
Holllly shiiiiit. ADV8 100% CE stacking with 3 SF HOCs. First run clear. I just wanted to see how far I could go before retreating and compromising for better units.
AK-15, G11, M4, Ribeyrolles and MG4 (in the 110-118 lvl ranges) with SNIPER for most of the waves. Almost threw in the towel on Wave 6, but I got down to like 2 enemy units once, so I kept trying. Wiping out those nyto snipers early is key.
I caved and went with regular HOCs and RO365, only lost a couple of thousand score and saved me from having to tryhard. I didn't try with sniper though, just shield.

G36C doesn't need shields. I went with sniper. I use the holy cross of M4, G11, AK-15, Ribey and G36C. Whatever G36C can't facetank, AK-15 swaps in and assfricks everyone with her dummy losses.
Honestly, INT8 gave me the most trouble with it's wacky CE stack and restrictions.
If you're poor you might be able to sub g36c with ro and 45, idk I haven't checked, the ars don't really matter as long as they kill the shit before the smgs die.

Yeah this ranking map sucks. Played it through three times, nothing really different in each. I somehow cored 78k in the second run, and can't beat 28k in the others. All it's doing is draining the frick out of my ammo and ration resources while all but three enemy echelons are actually impossible to beat.

100shiki is also a bad tank smg due to her skill.
Lots of 3/4 stars are also very choices to use especially early game.

7-6 gives you RO one of the best tank smg at 5x link and lvl90.
8-5 unlocks the HOC which you will need and takes time to develope.

Then have M4A1 between the two ARs and switch off ADS for her. Instead of 97 i would probably use AR15 if she is also lvl 90 at 5 links. And give ar15 the gold HV ammo and scope from 97 or M4A1. Your fighting power will get a lot better. Also AR15 and sopmod can equip 2 accesory at the same time and usually are run with a VFL and EOT. (EOT is replaced by the PEQ at night)

Yeah. I know it's RNG heavy. But at least you get 20 ticket per week that you can use up during that week. So don't forget to spam it. Especially during rate ups.
Also for HGs. You could probably use MK23 and SAA instead of those 2 five stars. There is nothing wrong with them, but are meant for niche echelons that you don't really have access to.

45 has a generally good stat distribution making her a solid tank. Mod1 upgrade also dropping more stat points on her in the right places.
SOP is mostly great because like ar15 can equip 2 accesory and with them she could end up having better dps than other dolls, before their boosting skill activates.
M4A1 is kinda good, especially for a beginner and once you do her neural upgrades (mod), then she becomes one of your key unit. At Mod2 and 3 she may end up being in your farming teams too. (her skill 2 is a special attack that activates if there are only her and 2 other dolls in the team that can wipe some of the enemy teams instantly.)

Absolutely not. You should be doing your daily equipment quests fishing for gold.
Also, what's your Anti-Rain team like? M4, STAR, SOP, and RO should be carrying you much of the way. UMP45 and G11 are also great, and all these guys wind up top tier once you mod them.

You're going to need better equipment for sure, and better Fairies. Prototypes are only okay if you don't have anything better, and putting suppressors on RFs is a total emergency measure. Luckily, there is a general rate-up coming soon.
Goliaths are mostly a DPS check, but you can make it easier with smokes/stun skills. If you have some form of stun and a shield SMG, you can retreat everyone and let them blow themselves up on the shield.
Going over lvl 90 is a waste of combat reports IMO. Costs a lot, and only gives a handful of stat points.

Hell no, even 4* is a long shot. Go for gold if you can afford to. Even 4*10 crafts can get you some gold equips.
The loose minimum necessary to be able to beat all enemies is 2RF, 3HG, 1SMG, 3AR. You need these at least at skill 7-8, level 90 max enhanced with 5 links, and with max enhanced gold equipment. You are basically given most of this with the beginner rewards.
What the other anon said. In the early game CE can somewhat help you guess, how strong enemy are but are easily overinflated by certain stats. Like mgsg could hit 60k but looses to a 25k scout stack (evasive fricks) because you will miss 99% of the shots.
So really, where did you get stuck and against what?
I'm stuck 25k with my AR/SMG echelon and 24 with my RF/HG, how do people beat 40k/50k ennemies ?

Is there no farm map? I've done everything but the EX versions of the maps ex1 dummying a 58000 power echelon is boring and there's no infinite map to run, nor alt paths for farming. I'm not solving the same basic puzzles hundreds of times for boxes.
These two are the farming maps just don't have infinity in their names. Unlocked after you cleared all the story nodes i think.

You'll get all of them eventually, it's a colle not a gacha. Carcano is one of the few who can deal with certain lategame enemies though, she's the best one for the starter banner.
Progress through the story and the freebee AR team will carry you through. Don't knock yourself out rolling. Everything will eventually come.
Major event time is here. Complete it for the True Core Mask and spend it on SG, like LTLX 7000.

As a new player who just started a week ago, how do I go about getting teams that can clear Poincare normal before it ends? I've been building an ARSMG team, have them all 70-80 at 4 link and around 12.5k combat effectiveness, but I'm running into missions that seems to require RFHG comps. Should I bite the bullet and start building up team 2 already against every guide on the net, or is there something I'm missing?
If you have friends in the game, uou can use Friend Echelons to help clear stuff you don't have the oomph for yet.
Not sure if it's the case in all event missions, but most of them have supports disabled, very rude to latelets.

What chapter are you stuck on? If you're on the last 2 chapters maybe you can clear it with a second team but otherwise you'll probably won't make it.

Those must be stupid guides. You should always have multiple echelons that are good and powerful. ARSMG, MGSG, RFHG, and night echelons in particular. Most autobattles require two echelons anyway, so it's not much more work to train them. There are enemy echelons you're not actually meant to fight as well.
Sounds normal. RFHG is the next thing to build after some decent ARSMG teams, and it can be a hurdle since the game is stingier with free RFs compared to other gun types. As you noticed, eventually you reach a point where good rifle teams are effectively required for progression, about when Guard+Jaeger enemy compositions become common[lace. For events, it's a given.
At least they're allowed in campaigns.
I'm level 133 so I've been playing a bit but I still haven't quite cracked the nut on how to build legitimately good RF teams. Seems kinda finicky to me.

What exactly do you need to "crack"? Grab your favorite top tier RF raifu and build the recommended supporting cast around her.
My go-to is 88 Mod and KSVK Mod simply because I like watching them go all gundam on everything. Another ranking pair is Grape and M200. But really, almost any decent RF who isn't trash can work.
I'm gonna give another think about who I pair with HS.50. Currently it's Type 88, Contender, DEagle, and Webley, but I'm not really using buff tiles all that well like that. HS.50 is a Deletion Cannon, till she hits that 5" cooldown. She's probably a niche pick anyway but damn she can rip through things.

Eh, the CR was misleading. Even my "weakest" anti-armor echelon (by CR) took the chain easily. My 56k MGSGHG echelon took a bit more beating
Neat, and I'm gonna keep your build in mind (not that I've invested in my sand fairy but eh). And likewise my MG/SG echelons took some hits but Archi and Co, in a full day's clear for boxes, the Manticore suffered 42" worth of damage. 1 manpower and 1 spare part. That's it.
Sand fairy is partially in the picture because I don't have the autism needed to properly dupe and train up more appropriate fairies for the echelon, and the passive skill I rolled is good. Maxed out sand fairy active skill is really handy in things like ranking maps, or when you've run out of turns and happen to be next to a high ranking enemy. I've largely left her in because she works real well with the echelon.
I'm going to have to train up sandcatgirl then. I've got my XP and Rescue fairies both at 100 with max skills, and a hodgepodge for the rest of em. I need to finish getting my Sniper fairy (lvl 45, skill lvl 8, Fervor talent, 3*) because I know she's handy af, but there's so many that properly prioritizing is difficult for my adhd (undiagnosed) ass.

The quotation marks are there for a reason. That echelon is "weak" in that it has the lowest CR of any of the anti-armor echelons I currently have running. Conversely, I think this echelon had the hardest time with it, by which I mean they had nonzero damage suffered at the end.
I think the only screenshot I still have is of a RF/HG team with 30k, and I think I had most of the meta garbage at the time. Though this was also over three years ago now.
I have to say I don't see the point of the base raid from a story perspective if you're not going to kill off kryuger or helian. It's basically an inferior repeat of the singularity to ligma suffering arc to make it seem like something is happening.
Mica wants to finish gf1 story in the next few events so the point is probably to destroy g&k main base for good. We'll likely see g&k as a whole get dismantled soon, since it isn't a thing anymore in gf2.

I got 417k and I know I have no fricking clue what I'm doing. Also my ARTeam seems to get eaten by a lot of the comps but w/e. I did want Shrimp's speq but I got lazy and didn't want to invest the time to accumulate the appropriate amount if pts. Also phonemelt - I had to use a lunchbox icepack to keep it coolish during that nonsense. A Galaxy S10e isn't exactly a slow phone but jeebus.
550k because i ran out of time. I could have probably hit 800k as usual.
All you had to do was kill the enemies and stand on the funny looking circles.
Also use an emulator for ranking so you don't fry your phone.

Took me a few rounds but that's what I did and just held it. I didn't invest the time to hold that and have a unit or two go expeditionary, and also I don't know how to make optimal exchelons for it. Basically I used my HOCs and a couple of Sangvis units alongside ARTeam and some other random shit. It's amusing having four kinds of ordnance flying in. Also, FO-12 was fricking ridiculous. She beat out my MGs in the echelon she's in more often than not.
It took me a lot of experimenting to figure out what teams to use, especially against those annoying death ray units. Turns out armour counters them quite well, and I ended up relying on that as much as my limited amount of 5* plates and +armour Fairies would let me. I even fielded Barrier for the aura.
Other than that, I had some rifles, only one ARSMG, 2 HOCs, and the rest was Sangvis. I really have to commend Gager here - I didn't think much of her at first, but her debuffs are surprisingly useful. She turns armour into tissue paper and that's only the beginning.
I'm going to have to experiment with Lady Knight more, then. I invested in her skills but hardly ever used her. My main is Architect (indeed, the first and only Oath except bikinitect) with a host of Jags and a Manticore, and I usually have a second SF echelon loaded but it greatly varies who I use and in what comp. I *finally* got a full-link Jaeger_SWAP (XL too!) last night so that'll be fun.
If you have Alchemist, invest in her. She'll roll over just about everything that isn't specifically designed to counter Coalition Units. Hell, she's got a good shot of even stomping those into the ground.
I played through most of the final story chapter with 5 hours left in the event, then gave one run before I had to sleep for the night. I didn't get to the supply line because I was conquering upper right and defending lower right, plus got one too many RNGrapes with an accidental out-of-moves situation leaving an echelon next to three hostiles, with of course the invincible 3000000000000 strength murderbot group being the one that moves to my poor squad so I just focused on the fights and the XP grind.

It runs markedly smoother and cooler on my Galaxy S10e. I'm pretty happy so far, we'll see what happens when we get another ranking event though! I like the new transitions and the minipause when you tap a unit in combat.
You obviously don't even play the game. You only do a handful of those things, they are the list of possible dailies. The battlepass doesn't add new missions.
Well instead of 6 map runs per day now i only need it to do twice. Which is nice, when i don't have time for it.
Except we get more fairy commands now so you have to do more drags to stop them from capping.
I run 8-1n that takes 15 per run so that is fine on my end. Less than 10 run a day. Airstrike fairy.

Yes. F2P friendly. You get enough gems fast to unlock 6 slots of echelons (or 10, 14 should be considered late game goal)
The repair mechanic may get in the way of early game but after a while you get enough quick repair. For early game it's better to use low stars like fnc, m14 you also get some of the dolls pre leveled like m4a1, ar15 who are solid to use. It's recomnended just to rush throught normal stages until 8-5 with friend echelons to unlock all features. Then proceed however you like too.
Most common ARSMG team is ar15, sopmod, m4a1, sten and skorpion. If by off chance you get lots of ump45 drop and Vector from construction you can consider using them. But the core hell can be brutal if you start dummy linking 5 stars with cores.
Look up guides, some of them are out dated but corpse dragging are still one of the main source of cores early on at low cost.
Also do as much of the events you can. Don't worry if you can't fully clear it.
Also if you read the story, then you should know that the writes enjoy the characters suffering
It's F2P, and very friendly at that after all the semi-recent updates and changes. Just playing the normal story stages will now give you career quest rewards like pre-leveled and dummied dolls and tons of dosh.
Also remember to post your fren ID so you can get a bunch of us nerds as friends. That's how you get friend echelons to help in missions, and some of these fools have insane teams on offer. As an added bonus you can "visit" their dorms and get free batteries up to 10 times. Max is 14 per dorm visited and it depends on how many dorms that player has.
And yes the characters will suffer.

Looks like the improved droprates affect equipment as well. Autobattling Deep Dive's last mission now regularly gives me 4* gear, while before I'd only occasionally get one piece.

Same, I've done all the 5* and all the HGs and most of the RFs. Then I'll finish off the 4*s. I'm also calibrating most of my equipment. It's not exactly something to do though, it happens in the background.

Ever since 3.0 I've been getting missed pings for my logistics so most days is usually a login in morning and evenings to clear dailies. And sometimes I just forget to start the new batch
Yeah my logistics haven't pinged properly for a couple of months I think, but it suits me since after 3.0 it's impossible to get below resource cap since fairy rolls are guaranteed you end up doing less of them.

Logistics missions just give you supplies. If you want to grind affinity, you have to do active combat missions (autobattle does not count), put them in echelons that have dorms unlocked, go to the dorms and click their hearts like the other guy said. They'll naturally gain affinity over time just by being in a dorm. You can also feed them sweets, but you typically only get those from special event stores and by trashing furniture. At the newbie level, the only furniture you'd want to trash is the dorm defaults, and you only get the lowest effectiveness items from that.
I still don't know what "resource recoveries" are.

Just view the story stupid. It's going to be a year or longer before they put the event into the campaign tab. They haven't caught up and put the past few events in there either.

You can make a private lobby with 1 AI to play against.
I've never gotten the luffberry chess quest from a refresh. I was under the impression that each quest slot only had 2 or 3 possible quests, i.e. that the first one was always kill 50 enemies or win 8 battles with S ranks. Regardless you don't need to do every weekly or every daily to max out the protocol, you only need something like 5 dailies for 3 weeks to hit level 45 and that's only if you want 24 tokens/month.
You can kill armoured enemies on day maps though. I get mine naturally through a handful of corpse drags.

Many in gfg believe that if all the trash mooks are killed the capture is a succ rather than hp but I've personally have seen it fail one time, but every other instance where the mooks died I did capture the ring leader so it might have been a one off

I don't think you can avoid fighting entirely, but you should be able to finish Fixed Point on normal with some effort.
Most levels don't need fighting and the ones that do you can do on Normal with basically anything 5-linked. Use Serzha's guides on YouTube.
I got up to Old Rain in the 4th chapter but it seems i need actual squads to beat it. My strongest squad is 8k power.
The videos i saw they are beating it with their own units as well as the ones provided.
Even though i imagine i understood about a tenth of the actual story its pretty cool.
Just keep pumping through the beginner quests and they'll give you better dolls and fairies and combat reports to level more dolls, then you should be able to do it. I'd recommend not reading the story out of order because it's excellent and benefits strongly from twists and turns and so on. My main problem is i build a nice squad then i get new dolls that fit better with their buffs and i replace them, then i get better star dolls and i replace again, so every squad besides the 1st who are the OG homies, gets replaced slowly. And they remain with low skills and links because im out of cores.

Oh damn its the whole storyline.
Don't bother with high rarity units early, you won't have the cores to link them. You can do enough with lower rarity units, and they have the benefit of being easier to dummy link too. You can also use friend supports to carry you through the main story.
Some of the 2* and 3* units are fricking gangster, don't count them out. Makarov, PPK, M1919A4 (just avoid looking up her artist), Skorpion, and Tokarev (just to name a few) are great and acquit their duties admirably.
Don't worry too much about rarity, some low star dolls are great. The first echelon I got to lv90 only had 1 5* the rest were 2*-3* and it did just fine.
To add to what the anon above me said, M14 is also a great rifle for a 3* and has a mod later on that makes her better than nearly all 5*, she's definitely worth raising.
Now i feel bad about shunning all my favourite WW2 guns.

They use an equipment named peq, dunno if that's what you have since I'm kinda out of the loop with the new equipment but if it is you might not have yet leveled them up enough to unlock the slot where you can equip it.

CE is unimportant. It doesn't actually mean anything, the only real purpose it has is to show you where the deathstacks are. Use SLAP ammo against those, they have 300-400 armor or something.

The nuking isn't 100% important. I figured it out by using them as bait to lure the unkillables away from M16. Didn't immediately realize they also nuked them as that wasn't the important part.

I just finished the FP story. What a disappointment, almost nothing actually happens. All the good guys team up in one way or other to infiltrate William's Paradeus base in the Dead Sea black zone and rescue Ange, but she doesn't want to go because she doesn't like that her boss wants to subordinate the bad guy rather than destroy him and the event just ends with that revelation. Am I missing something? This is supposed to be a major event, but even the old small events like Cube+ and Deep Dive had more story.
You're not missing anything, this story event was straight fricking ass. Every other story event was either good or at least decent and left me waiting for the next one, FP was just straight ass that managed to avoid concluding a single major plot point. Not even crossdessing J could salvage it.

I'm glad that G36c has powercrept ROMOD. I hated that RO was always the best choice since the old main tanks got powercrept by new content and the new ones are all gimmicks. Also RO is a really boring character.

She still has great tiles, but she's been feeling very brittle in recent events to me.
Since they made ranking maps redundant I haven't been challenged by content at all so I haven't felt that. What was the last event that you actually had to rank for? Did we even have RO MOD for that?

Played luffberry for the first time in months. It's still slow as hell, the custom match UI still freezes the game and mica changed the gachapon system so you can only get up to a weeks worth of tickets in one day. Does anyone even play it anymore?

I've only play AI matches. Then I can drag out the matches while doing other things to milk the most points.

Never. With the exception of pp-93, they've always run enough theaters with one HOC before introducing the next that you could get them maxed out easily as long as you aren't in the lowest of low rankings.

What does that mean?
There's the investigation bit every day, where you gamble resources on one area. Each area gives a different amount of points, and the area that had the least amount of people gamble on it gets extra, the area with the most people get less. C has the highest base payout, but there's a chance of getting fricked. It's all gambling.
Unfortunately, a lot of theater ranking is prep time. You should be entering it with the a wide variety of dolls with a huge armory of EQ and a good selection of HOCs and 5* fairies, etc...
That being said, GFLAlarm takes a lot of the guesswork out of selecting the optimal builds with what you have for maximum points for each boss map. I don't know how people do it without spending half their lives pouring over speadsheets.

No, you can use it if you're playing on a phone/tablet, you just need to set a few things up.
You can run it on a PC. It has a proxy server so it can sit in between your phone/tablet and the internet. It does a million things, but I only use it to build theater teams and calculate optimal HOC chip tetris.

Advantaged dolls just get a boost to their stats (which increases their effectiveness against the boss/your score), you don't actually have to bring them, in some cases even with the advantaged bonus they're still worse than other dolls.
There shouldn't be any optimal battles so far that require 2 SG's. Greez does the math for you so you know which maps offer the most points every day, which isn't necessarily Advanced.

Advantaged dolls got nerfed the last 1-2 theaters. They used to be mandatory. Now their bump in CE doesn't necessarily make them the highest CE, which is a good thing as they were usually trash.
Even so, the random dolls you're including for CE should just go in the reserve slots, so no worries about synergy and whatnot.

Using advantaged dolls to stack points isn't the best idea. Do check if they give more points but most of the time they don't. (Unless the boss has weakness towards their class and they got SPEQ)

I've been misunderstanding the fairy toggle status this whole time and haven't been using it since the start of theater. I've only worked it out after struggling with INT8 and wondering where the sniper damage was...

The CANCEL/ACTIVATE toggle is pretty ambiguous:
ACTIVATE = it's turned on.
CANCEL = it's turned off.
It should really say ACTIVATED/CANCELLED, or just simply ON/OFF.
Using the fairies then starts taking away from your total fairy points as you might expect. Before this, I just assumed it was resetting each round as part of some dumbing down, quality of life change or something.

Holllly shiiiiit. ADV8 100% CE stacking with 3 SF HOCs. First run clear. I just wanted to see how far I could go before retreating and compromising for better units.
AK-15, G11, M4, Ribeyrolles and MG4 (in the 110-118 lvl ranges) with SNIPER for most of the waves. Almost threw in the towel on Wave 6, but I got down to like 2 enemy units once, so I kept trying. Wiping out those nyto snipers early is key.

G36C doesn't need shields. I went with sniper. I use the holy cross of M4, G11, AK-15, Ribey and G36C. Whatever G36C can't facetank, AK-15 swaps in and assfricks everyone with her dummy losses.
Honestly, INT8 gave me the most trouble with it's wacky CE stack and restrictions.
Lost even faster than twin fairy, and it's not a level 1 unupgraded shield fairy either.
I afk it with artillery fairy, G36, M4, Ribey, G11, and 416. There's probably better but it worked first time so I haven't touched it.
It's that easy.
If you're poor you might be able to sub g36c with ro and 45, idk I haven't checked, the ars don't really matter as long as they kill the shit before the smgs die.
The point is to do it with good CE dolls, not shit like Vector and IDW.
