If you are flexible with the meaning of "indie", I really liked the game 2Dark. But that did have a publisher.
If you're strict about the definition then I guess i could name some. Not sure what you mean by "isn't that popular" so some of these might be too well known for you, but if we're using Undertale as a reference point then none of these are anywhere near as popular.
Zortch came out this year, that was solid. Same with Hrot.
Firmament also came out this year, from the creators of Myst. Was a tad disappointing to some, but I thought it was a really solid puzzle adventure game.
Beard Blade is a really fun 2D platformer
Know by heart is a game that came out last year. It's basically a visual novel with some light point and click elements sprinkled in. It's great if you like stories that are full of emotion. Make SURE you play with the russian voice acting, it's way better than the english voice acting.
Serena is a free and short point and click. I really enjoyed it. Same goes for Faefever.
Apotheon is really good.
Deadbolt is good too.

Monster Girl and the Mysterious Adventure is pretty fun. Its a mystery dungeon where you make friends with well-endowed women, its also surprisingly difficult. The sequel has better mechanics and a better translation.
I know its not well known because the only people I know who know the game exists are 2 friends and otherwise I have to lurk 5ch

What kind of game?
Well, I'm trying to make an 3D, horror game, but that's not direction I want to go on my Game Dev adventure all the time. In future I want to make something big, but simple. Simple characters, simple world, simple story. But simple doesn't exclude relatable. I want something that people will love, something that gives them feeling of past, where everything was simple.
what previous games you made?
Nothing in 3D and with story. My writing experience is some short stories that my friends found enjoyable. Also my game isn't even start to become a thing until I build my computer. I can't afford it at the moment. I'm using shitty MacBook with no space rn.
why not make a visual novel or a web adventure game in html?
I was planning to make an ARG but at this moment I don't have time. I'm sure I will do it in future. Maybe visual novel too
