They're pretty shit but the mandatory ones take up like 10 minutes all put together.
GC contains the worst boss fight ever made and that probably takes longer than the spaceship missions.

For some reason the camera controls are reversed I think? But I tried to change it in settings and nothing changed, it was still trash? Seemingly no lock on, so I'm just moronicly waving my reticle holding shoot at anything that moves. Turning to somebody behind me feels fricking moronic and I somehow lose my target. Barrel rolls do anything since enemies just hold shoot. Same with boost, what the frick even is the point of boost?
Man...I still got through the levels but they feel like shit to play. No control, no skill, nothing.

Also objectively if taste is subjective, there no substantive meaning to expressing one thing as better than another because it can't be better, you can only choose something over another, there's no quantitative reasoning one thing can be better than another. The most obvious way to realize this is colour. Not one single colour has any more valuable property over another. The reason colour is the best way to realize this, is because it's simpler than taste, but has none of the social baggage of taste either. Whether rational or not, some people are SIMPLY going to state that some things taste better than other things or not. Pineapple pizza is probably the best example of this, but one might say the meme of Chinese people eating dogs applies as well.
Your understanding of "subjectivity" is superficial. No criticism whatsoever should ever be valid if things are completely or solely subjective and nothing can ever be done better or worse.
