Then people stopped limiting themselves to Gohan and started posting all manners of edgy deviantart shit, until some homosexual posted pic related, some moronic Hispanic Youtube channel, and that thumbnail is where El Hermano was born. From there it all snowballed more and more. The current charactergays obsessively shitposting over Goku, Vegeta Jiren, Broly and Frieza are just imitating those Gohangays from so many years ago, and with the amount of terrible edgy art DB has, it just keeps going and going.

Actually, Tori himself said that next form would have white hair even back before super even started (it was interview after RoF movie). The main issue is that dokkan isn't big enough to be a /vg/ thread, but DB as an IP is far too all encompassing to just throw all its content together into one thread.

We were all in /dbg/ once upon a time but we split just because we could. It wasn't really an issue of us yelling over each other, we all just prefer having our own space. The XV/Heroes trannies are actually pretty quiet and on a board with actual moderation, we were able to co-exist. Everyone just ignores the single Legends player left while he talks to himself. I don't know much about the FighterZ crowd or why exactly they have their own general but I know it's slow and somehow dies more often than /dbg/ so I don't think they'd be much of a problem either.

How do you know what proportions to bring of each type?
I always take 1 extreme team of each type, 2 super teams of each type give or take, the TUR f2p Ginyu Force EZAs for the first stage, and a girly team I mix and match depending on Broly's type. It's even simpler on Global since I don't need a girly team for Omega.
I take 1 super, one extreme, and then leftover teams like bardock squad and ginyu force for early stage filler. Now that Ginyus are top tier i save them for later

Probably, events that aren't EZBs usually don't have the SSR or below damage reduction. But you're going to have to get either no attacks before slot 1 on the 3rd phase or have something to dodge/tank all of that. Not to mention getting the 1% chance in his passive and enough Ki to super, all in the same turn.

Pretty much how you'd expect. Outside of the super hard events, he's just not taking damage if you're at 100% HP. Becomes a total liability at lower HP values. Really good support though, though I sadly don't have LR Nappa/Vegeta to use with him.
Raditz is a lot better than some of my other favorites who have gotten DFEs in the past (Beerus, Zamasu) so I'm content with him too. Would've been great if he was Ginyu-level busted but oh well. I don't expect to get anything during the WWC anyways, and I have plenty of red coins saved up for down the line.

Yeah, I've done a bunch of shit like that with him. Put him on an AGL Ginyu team with Turles to partner with, run Team Bardock with Raditz as the leader. I've done LGTE with a team that's just twin leader Raditzes, Turles, Nappa, and three supports.
Typically does around 3.6 million if they're above 50% HP, around 5.5-6 million if they're below. Really surprised me, I expected the damage to be much lower but he's about on par with my AGL Trunks.

Pikkon is only good because of his active skill which is a literal ghost usher.
He won't do any damage and he won't survive a single hit.
The way to do it is to ensure he'll come by the second turn against TEQ Cell, you use his active skill and rotate him off.
By the time he comes back you'll either have killed Cell or he will have killed you anyway.

Powercreep wasn't that much of an issue before because of category sbr/esbr. Even if they released a "best unit in the game" goku, you wouldn't be able to run him in over half of the stages

Not that anon, but it's a watered down version. It's noticably slower paced, and turned a bunch of basic defensive options into skills you had to waste a slot on (or just not available at all if you play non-custom characters), or sold them as DLC (UI Goku's dodging is basically just BT3's sonic sway, but now it costs stamina to use).

i really hate this about dokkan, whenever new hard events come they always jump the shark and the meta is literally to get lucky, it is how I beat the later stages of all red zones. what is the point of summoning for new units if i still need to get lucky? when i beat the hard events i am just glad that i dont have to play them again, at least for a long while.
Nah the 7th year can tank hits after a double super. The real tactic is
1. surviving the first two turns of phase 3 by either him mostly targeting one slot with godku sitting in it or the 7th years triple supering first/countering/dodging or pikkons active
2. Having type advantage units that can take a normal for reasonable damage mopping up the stray hits (int broly is long here, my 69% one was taking normals for 90k after supering)
3. Having teq gogetas scouter up for nullifications and counters
4. On the third and forth turn letting the 7th years shit out damage via their active
Not having the 7th years actives or the new units that JP has makes this event 1000x harder since dodge units won't be able to deal out 20m+ in one turn
At free dupe, I've only seen SS4 Gogeta tank for double digits after 3 supers and with 3 or 4 rainbow orbs, haven't seen the SSBs tank better than 170k.

transform him just before the last phase and rotate him off. when he shows up again, put him in third slot and pray to god that he double supers. in my case i got lucky that the third slot only had 1 normal attack. the MVP was god goku, madlad ate most of the supers.
My Gogeta is 90% and he was in slot 3, he double supered and 2 normals would have ended the run, he took 1 and dodged the other. Next rotation had SS4 Gogeta and the Gods with their active skills. Got me the W.

Yeah, this was way easier, only 3 attempts needed with this comp. Having multiple free turns and up to 4 full heals makes all the difference in the world.

You'll have an even easier time then. My only LR with dupes was Super Gogeta at 2. You just have to make sure to use Paikuhan's active when Godku isn't on rotation since he's the only slot 1 tank on the team.
The worst part is that morons like Dafat defend this difficulty by saying it's for 200% leaders when most 200% leads can't do shit against Cell Max. People are using characters like Pikkon, UI Goku (without a leader), and Hercule because 200% leader skills don't protect you from taking 200k normals.

the revive is only active when the heart is flashing over your units like pic related. for some units, the revive is only available when the specified unit is the one who takes the final hit to 'kill' you (like LR Future Gohan)

He's bugged, a few months ago people discovered he accidentally doubles his damage reduction, which means that he'll have between 100% to 180% damage reduction.
Even in the worst case scenario, without a leader skill he'll literally tank Cell's Super attacks for double digits.
That must've happened recently then since I don't remember him acting like that during my SBR runs with him 2 or 3 years ago.
I guess there's a new Devilman tier unit until they patch it.

I think I've figured it out, the condition is likely that the dmg reduction is below 90%
the bug is probably that after you take a hit, it calculates the new damage reduction and adds it to the previous one but this calculation is skipped when you're already at max dmg reduction

The cell max event is easier than red zone omega. Cell max gives you two free phases to set up your rotations, def stacks, and active skill requirements. Senzu bean restriction is fine, as you were gonna bring it either way to negate the locking, and red zone restricts you to one item as well. The first two phases giving you a chance to get your rotations in order is needed. If the event was just phase 3 alone it would be impossible to beat

From there you can do damage, but you'll also take Red Zone tier damage if the cards aren't in the right category.

You can blind auto with any team until you hit future saga, then you just need to use the appropriate team but auto still works no problem
I had to start paying attention to team comps around level 700. But even then, it's just paying attention to the specific team requirements and then just setting it to auto.
The real difficulty kicks in around 900-950 where you need not only the right teams but also fairly decent RNG with rotations and orbs. Shame it takes like 10 fricking hours of grinding to get to that point though

They've ran events in the past once or twice where they drop the cost down to either 1 or 2 stones to replace the nodes. You can also replace the nodes by using a dupe (similar to unlocking another route) but I would basically never do that unless it's a F2P unit or someone that I've already rainbowed their LR/TUR/UR and still have more dupes of.

Not that much honestly, but i'd always go for SA and Recovery.
SA just makes your super attacks a bit stronger, and Recovery increases the amount of HP you recover for picked orbs of the card's type.

Not really, but they're more effective than Type Attack / Type Defense nodes, so they're better in nearly every case.
The only time I'd take the defense node over the recover node is if its a guarding character, since guard activates the defensive node hipo even if youre at a type mismatch. But even then, it's so negligible that it doesn't matter one way or the other.

Dude there's like 5 of those units in the entire game I'm not going to make another branching path just for them. That guide is not a 100% foolproof guide that every character should use. It's the general idea for how you should approach HiPo. If they stack DEF in any way you should prioritize AA since Red Zone / Cell max are so absurdly hard hitting.
If you really want to get into the autistic detail there's also effective-against-all-types and passive stackers that change what you should put into HiPo as well.
But those cards are overall such a small % that it's not worth it to get into the autistic nitty gritty in a progression tree that's supposed to be a quick and easy reference.

also the bonus damage increase the final phase has is calculated at start of turn, so you even if you heal with a senzu you are fricked. that explains why there was so much variance in what units were able to survive more than one or two normals

I had an actual future saga lead about 40% of the time, the rest was all making clunky teams around Super Saiyan leads.

Before Cell Max, I would have obviously said the Gods since they're were just an objectively better designed unit. Post Cell Max, it's more of a debate and it's hard to decide until we see what other difficult events are coming and how they work. I still think the Gods are the better unit for pretty much everything else but I can't ignore the utility of the SSJ4s anymore. The Gods rely too much on RNG and need to stack too much to be consistently good in these tough events. The game trending more towards units that stack quickly and are guaranteed to active all of their abilities without to much setup and mircomanaging.
Gods because their AA is "guaranteed" while gogeta fricked me over many times by doing a single super

I just find the Gods to be a far better unit. I like their team more, I find it easier to get 20ki off easier, they don't "need" to a partner with a sayian roar type link and that guaranteed additional on the active skill stage just eviserates anything
The Gods lose a lot of damage if they don't have a SSG/SSB link partner, to be fair.
It's a more common type of unit compared to Saiyan Roars GT Heroes, but still.
Strangely I prefer them doing lower damage in their base form. It let's them get more than one super off consistently and if it doesn't kill then it let's another unit get their stack in. The SS4s with sayian roar can just one shot early phases then look pretty meh in later stages, kinda like LR FP Frieza when he first came out

They've the better team that will constantly get updates compared to GT or fusions that aren't on power beyond super Saiyan/movie heroes (basically only super Vegito), and while either of them taking a super attack from Cell will kill them, Gogeta can job hard and only super once which leads to him taking over 150k per hit even with rainbow orbs while the guaranteed additional from the Gods is much more consistent I've found.

If "high" DR includes 25% or more, sure, but even then, the SSBs only have a base 30% dodge chance and I have no idea if the rainbow orb dodge boost is additive or a separate chance.

Gogeta's DR is nice, but -7~35% damage depending on rainbow orbs isn't that game changing against Cell. Mine still took shit from the normals unless the RNG blessed me with a 3x SA.

It feels like we're on the same as when SBR first came out. That was just a giant middle finger to everyone from the devs just like Cell Max is. He's not actually that hard, his stats are just scaled way above where we are. The main problem with Cell Max is that we don't have enough health to survive more than one super. Most of my runs have come down to two guys getting hit for 300k and then a 10-30k normal kills me. I think just a tiny boost to HP makes this way easier. I feel like the new units are going to introduce something just a little higher than 200%, like 230%. Once you can easily get 1 million HP, this event will seem like a joke just like SBR Classic.

Saw some legit leaks. Can't share them but Cooler sucks, he is the DFLR equivalent to Raditz. Literally Raditz with LR stats, you will be shocked when you see it. Goku doesn't have the bird in any of his animations. Overall he is okay though. I'd say he is like a mix of the other 2 LR SSJ Gokus, best of both worlds. Part 1 is looking to be complete dogshit and Part 2 is where the real shit is. Yes, it is Super Hero related.

Yeah. You have to put it in the options field for it to show. You can also get multiple passes and use them all at the same time. I killed an entire general once using 3 passes and my normal wifi connection all at the same time to reply to myself.
