It wasn't even really the game that caused it directly though. They were faulty cards that were gonna die from any game with uncapped FPS at some point. Same thing happened a whole year before with New World too, and the exact same cards as well.

That is literally the fix, ya dingus. The actual issue is that the GPUs themselves are faulty from the manufacturing. That has nothing to do with Blizzard. The exact same scenario with the exact same cards happened in New World.

I felt the same way but when my friends convinced me to buy it, the game ended up being incredible at least while playing with them. I haven't tried to solo much yet.
My friends have an issue with the base price not even taking into account the battle pass or in game shop. This game is seriously expensive (converted), I could buy a fricking new phone or upgrade my PC over buying this game and it's still not even the full fricking game kek

As a dad™ I feel the time has come to explain to the virgins on this sub who this game is for : dads. To understand why D4 is a game for dads, and exclusively for dads, you need to understand who dads are :
First of all, by definition, dads are sex-havers. At least once in any case. Many of you won't understand, but once the P goes in the V your interest in endgame mob density is severely reduced.
Second, dads are rich. Dads spend most of their time working, which is why most have only made it half way through caracter creation. Also, kids are very cheap, seeing they eat much less than fully grown humans. This means dads have a LOT of disposable income. So you can understand dads do not care about spending 30$ to play a few days earlier or 25$ for a little wolf hat. This also signals your dad status to other dads.
Thirdly, dads profoundly dislike their spouses and argue with them all the time. Most of them are actually separated (although in a few rare cases they can be in a stable relationship a cool gamer wife / fellow sex-haver). Now what is the theme of D4? Pursuing and killing a mother who got in a disagreement with a dad. We could not relate more.
Finally, dads are nostalgic. They yearn for a time where video games were about having fun, not excel spreadsheets. They don't care that the sorcerer meta is very limited. They are just happy to be casting little bolts of lightning. Unlike you, most of them are not on Adderall and can tolerate a 10 second cooldown.
So in conclusion, please stop with all the dads vs no-lifers endless debates. This game was clearly made for dads. We have so little left, please let us have this one game.

The game is legit boring they should have done Diablo Souls. The worst part the game is only fun if you have all aspects and a working build. The entire having a no dmg generator spell is awful.

While story, graphics, soundtrack or lack thereof can all be subjective, lost ark has some actual non braindead gameplay and raids. People keep comparing them because of the open world bosses meme but they clearly haven't played lost ark if they do.
It's a shame that Blizzard didn't make the game more like Lost Ark when it comes to bosses. They even have like 20 years of WoW boss mechanics that they could have straight up just copied, but instead 99% of the bosses in the game are a fricking joke either without any mechanics or where you can completely ignore the few mechanics that they do have.
That's partly why I think people comparing it to lost ark are wrong. In diablo you could almost always solve everything with more damage or running around while your hydras or skeletons were doing the actual damage.
Lost ark even if you're largely outgearing some raids/fights if you fail a mechanic you will still wipe. Despite looking like an arpg lost ark has actual mmo tier fights that you have to learn
The difference is that Lost Ark is an MMO and D4 isn't, obviously

I was gonna buy it, but then other games took my attention. And I don't actually like ARPGs that much. I tend to only play them for a 1 or 2 characters and only hit the end game then don't do much of the end game grind at all.
