Let's go!!!!
you don't play video games
time to board the ox cart and blast off to adventure
Based blaster. DD2 is definitely in the contenders list for best PS3 games so far! Hail Itsuno!
agreed blast bros the game is a blast and Im having a blast. but there was absolutely no need to buy any crystals, wtf are you even going to spend it on? just have a good helpful pawn and you’ll rack some up in no time. this is my current crystals and thats after I already bought the most expensive item you can with crystals, the 9k crystal sunglasses.
>ps3
its on ps5, pc bro.
forgot pic
For me it's Maximilian pawn
Lets GOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Let's fricking go
I'll probably force myself to finish the game and wait for DLC. With next to nothing left to explore or unfelled beasts to challenge myself with, I find myself growing weary.
Would've been 10/10 if they kept in old vocations, didn't have a worse monster count than World on launch, and actually had more dungeons you could discover. So close.
>force myself
lmao you miserable homosexual. video games isnt a job you know. just quit it. free yourself from your mental anguish.
>He bought
Lmfao
>he didn't refund
good blasting sirs
Considering buying a new game slot after finishing the first one. New game + feels too easy with all the best gear from the beginning. Yea they are patching in being able to overwrite your save game soon but I don't want to delete my save either. Not having a blast.
You can backup your saved and have multiple, I did it just YouTube it
I'm gonna be honest with you man. You sound like a homosexual
blastin' opinion
The sphynx trial to remember your first seeker token is total bullshit.
Found interactive map from igns site and used it to check tokesn around that first settlement you arrives. It was pretty quick to check them. Would t have membered thwt it was the one near moonglow garden. Anyways, what exactly do those dyes colour I can buy from Mexico? My character?
>He's a memorylet
NGMI
Let's go
>having a blast.webm
Only thing that annoys me is that you have to take mandatory rests to get "updates" on your pawn being used by other players. Why can't I get this from a random rifstone? Am I missing something?
all you need is to rest at an inn or your home. if nothing happens when you do
so its because no one hired your pawn in that time frame
yeah but that's what I'm saying. what if I've been travelling for three in game days and also have a timed quest? Resting usually implies skipping time to either midnight or morning.
think time quests means that if you progress in the main story, you will miss out on that quest. dont think resting has an impact on it.
nah mate, I've only failed one quest so far (in 25+ hours) and it was because I simply took too long Rodge quest, and since I explored the surrounding area and did Oskar's quest in the meantime and also took one camp rest I ended up with him being eaten by wolves
>my boy's been taken by wolves!
>"eh, I can take my time with this one :)"
What did you think would happen?
To be fair in that anon's defense. That quest made no sense. Like how does a person get dragged off by wolves and not be dead immediately?
You just know?
What do we know
I mean yeah I figured I will be late but when I initially got to the catacomb-y area, fought a Wight and then noticed there's wolves nearby too I figured yeah he must be there, but then it started dawning and I lost the nightblooms or whatever they're called (the blue flowers) and simply couldn't find him anymore so I encounterd Oscar (Oskar?) nearby and just did his quest instead lmao. Who cares it's fun. His papa still gave me half the reward or some shit.
The "having a blast" phrase has annoyed me for years. What did this game do to wake everyone up to this pattern recognition
literally this one. Capcom paid their shill PR agencies too much money and they overdid the astrosurfing
huzzah
Can you climb up the sphinx' sphincter? This will determine if I purchase the game.
It's been a blast guys
Im still blasting
So glad I passed up on this game. It's time for me to refuse these 'release now, maybe fix later' bullshit games. I know it won't make a difference because most of you homosexuals will keep buying it anyway, but at least I will feel better about myself. Enough backlog as it is.
I just added 10 million rift crystals with Cheat Engine, feels good literally stealing $20000 from Capcom 🙂 I think I'll do it again later 🙂
Capcom WILL add more monsters and content in patches before the DLC, right? Right?
>He bought a Capcom game day 1
Lmfao @this nPC
Yea and it has been a blast. sry to hear 80 bux (I got the deluxe) is too much for you bro. I spend more than that almost daily on food alone so a game which gives many hours of blasting is worth it in my view. hopefully it’ll go on sale soon enough so you can enjoy it.
ehehe
It's not a GaaS multiplayer game so no. They're just going to go for the "double release" effect with one big expansion like Dark Arisen and that's it.
>"TITLE UPDATE: THE HYDRA"
I would die of laughter
I mean, Elden Shart had to patch in broken and missing questlines after release and BG3 had to make Act 3 actually playable, so nothing will surprise me.
I remember buying Monster Hunter World on launch and getting pumped over the idea of free monster updates.
Devil Jo being the only new thing after half a year disappointed me so I dropped the game and didn't even bother with Iceborne. Then everyone comes running to me about how great Iceborne and I feel shit for missing out.
Lmao
Just ten more years, sis.
Itsuno will finally make his dream game with DD3.
>more monsters and content in patches
Anon, please.... sit down we need to talk
If they never advertised some sort roapmap then dont count on it, still possible tho but dont get your hopes up until the actual expansion.
How do I trigger Ulrika romance? I can't even gift her anything either. She just says some random dialogue while interacting with her.
Anyone got a favourite npc any time I see this homie at the checkpoint town he makes my day.what even is he lol
For me it's asmondgold
holy shit my sides.
Why do they keep calling me "anon"?
this is why I think "anon" as a name for Gankeriggers should be pronounced "ay-non"
"AH-non" as it's usually pronounced is too similar to "uh-NON"
I'm not sure if you're joking because im autistic but it means soon
They should've given him a voice to match his looks instead of the generic peasant voice
Jim Sterling if he was an American
>what even is he lol
He's your prom date you ugly sack of shit
his apart of the Sphinx Riddle Questline. On Stage 2 of the Sphinx Riddles, she tells you to bring to her a NPC and shows you what they look like. They are both in Checkpoint Town. Dante is on the North Side and Vergil is on the South Side past the gate. The correct NPC is determined by what the Sphinx showed you. They both have slightly different hairstyles. You grab the NPC, Ferrystone back to the Sphinx and place them before her. If you got it right, you passed that stage of the riddle.
Is it really just a remake of the first game instead of a sequel?
How many of you guys are fans of the first game? I'm not interesting in talking to secondaries. The game was disappointing and did not live up to expectations thoughever.
People have rose tinted glasses for DD1.
DD2 IS disappointing because we expected everything Itsuno talked about during that GDC conferencee, but when i hear that it has less variety than DD1 or that exploration is worse i get genuinely baffled.
Having expectations in the current game climate is begging for perpetual disappointment
First game was mid, won't change my mind. Aged poorly.
Theres not many games I have enjoyed as much as I have enjoyed the first DD, still, Im having grand time adventuring in DD2. DD2 has way more interesting world to explore. I have already played 49hours and Im just about to enter battahl. I dont giva a flying frick about mtx in singlepleyer game, I just dont buy them and dont think about them
I think Gransys is better. The main quest of 2 is completely irrelevant to the map and is mostly talking to NPCs. At least 1's main quest brought you to different corners of the map, mini-dungeons, and involved more combat. Inevitably, on replays, I will not enjoy the main quest of 2 while I do enjoy many parts of 1's still. I know you haven't seen everything yet but it is really not worth trading a bigger open world for a worse main story quest.
I'm sad it's a new world and not a reimagining of gransys, I loved the mine and the Catacombs with the zombies. Also the Masterworks dude
>im disappointed we got an entirely new world instead of the same one
wat
"""new"""
it's the same shit with a different name, might as well made it the same
>the troon hits itself in its confusion!
>The main quest of 2 is completely irrelevant to the map
The exact same thing is true for the first game. Nothing you do in the first game until you fight Grigori is relevant to the plot and it is all just the false king trying and failing to get you killed/ousted as the arisen and random minor stories that has no bearing on the plot itself whatsoever
I'm talking about the gameplay of the quests not the plot line, although the plot line in 2 is even worse than 1. The Wyrm hunt quests alone are more fun than the entire main quest in 2.
Based moron ignorer. Who cares if someone is fricking your wife while you wage slave, keep ignoring cuck.
I loved the first game but it took me 3 tries to get past the extremely shitty start of it. It seems like peoples fond memories for the first game completely overshadows all of its problems.
DD2 is better as a whole but the story takes a complete nosedive once your pushed out of Vermund and it is extremely dissapointing to see that some of the largest problems with the first game like the shit difficulty curve and shit stat system return almost completely unchanged,
>but when i hear that
Stop being a lemming and play the fricking game, you'll learn that people have completely blown a lack of variety out of proportions and that exploration is one of the aspect where the game has been improved the most in comparison to the first game
>people have completely blown a lack of variety out of proportions
No they haven't. The first game had goblins, bandits, saurians, and harpies too but they were place more intelligently so you wouldn't get bogged down fighting them every 20 feet like you do in 2.
That isn't a lack of variety, that is poor placement of enemies and even then you can just run past them/around them.
The EXACT same thing can be said for the first game since enemy placement was also static there and it had the complete opposite problem of thre being FRICKALL to do out in the wild other than run to one of the few places that had enemies in it, kill them, wait for them to respawn and then go do it again. DD2 at least has more random spawns like Griffins, Drakes, Ogres and Cyclopses just randomly spawning out of nowhere and smashing you into the ground, actual random raid parties on cities that can contain any enemy type, oxcart attacks that can also contain any enemy type and Big moster spawn areas being semi-randomised since the next time you visit the same area you can encounter a Chimera instead of a Griffin or Golem.
People just seem to refuse to not follow the roads or go out at night which is why they are all crying about "muh variety" since they alwasy take the shortest and faster path everywhere instead of planing their routs around where they have already been
Literally everything you said confirms what I said. DD1 had more intelligently placed enemies while 2 throws random bullshit at you all the time. The Ox cart and city raids in particular are tedious unfun dogshit.
They werent placed "intelligently" in DD1 any more than they are in DD2 since they are all just placed at chokepoints and close to roads with a few outliers. The variety argument makes no sense when DD2 has the same number of enemies as DD1 but their spawn locations is semi-randomised so that you don't ALWAYS kill the same fricking chimera out in the same fricking woods all the fricking time.
Again, peole are moronic and think that it's worse than DD1 when it is actually better than DD1, I say this as someone who played through it again on my Switch just a week before DD2 came out
They're further spaced apart. You have breathing room between enemies. 2 is way too dense. So many fricking goblins and shit on the roads. Yes it's more annoying and worse designed than the first game.
I like that theres more action while traveling.
Why is there a e-girl in the screen
1 is much better than 2. You have to be moronic to believe otherwise.
*blasts*
I really like DD2 and played DD1 to
completion and really enjoyed that game as well. I have to agree the main story isnt as engrossing in the sequel but I feel the side quests, combat and exploration are a huge improvement in DD2.
its beyond me why some are complaining about less vocations when many shared the same exact abilities with so little difference in DD1. also being able
to set less skills isnt an issue in DD2 since many abilities became core actions of a class therefore making it so you can choose the abilities you want without have to trade off for the most useful ones. for example mages having anodyne set to hold triangle or spearhand slicing whirling attack set to mashing square.
The vocations are still missing things from their counterparts in 1. Going from 6 to 4 slots isn't good even if you get like 1 skill becoming a core skill. Sorc is missing spells apparently but I haven't played it yet. I can tell you that Archer fricking sucks compared to Ranger in DD1, and that was my favorite vocation. People who want melee and bow together are stuck with Warfarer which is shit.
its more than one skill becoming core. mages also get levitate, spearhand gets the enemy stun bolts, fighter gets parry.
It's 2-4 skills being turned into core abilities, Mages get the AoE heal and levitate for example while Fighters gets Tusktoss, Parry and Impale.
After 70 hours of DD2 I decided I didn't care to explore every nook and cranny anymore and to just kill the dragon.
I'm gonna have to replay one I beat that 5 years ago it didn't click until I tried to learn the game after the 4th time then it was another addiction like monster hunter.
I swore the fight was longer with Grigori
or maybe elden did the same thing and I just over leveled from exploring.
8/10, 7/10 with bugs n' problems. Shit fits right into my niche, I don't know how to explain it well but, its too low end and high ball at the same time for normies. That or people frickin' hyped it up to be even more than what it actually was gonna be. I am a more gameplay focused person so if its something I like doing the same thing over n' over doesn't bother me nor does the shit non-existent story. I do wish it had more but I would need to hear when actual development started otherwise, at least I got a sequel and it could be considered a good side grade to most.
not really a fan but i enjoyed it for its time when i played with vanilla on the 360
never played dd1 based, ddda was top tier and I leveled to 150~ twice
dd2 has better overall gameplay and monster fights but there is no content
>just bought a couple rift crystals off the store and ready to have a blast
how aren't people naturally maxed out on these? what are you even spending them on?
Dude, he's having a blast. Stfu!
Why would I play this if it doesn't even have a daily log in bonus?
What spells do you guys like on your sorcerer pawns? I like the AOE blizzard spell, thats nice crowd control and some damage. Lightningmine is kind of nice too, as is Levin and Bolide from Mage.
Are meteon or Maelstrom worth it?
What the frick is this pacing.
How does it go from trying to overthrow the false Arisen plot to chasing after some mystery homie then some stupid shadow of Colossus mini-event to Grigori.
Like I guess the first one wasn't as paced as well either but this just seems abrupt.
Yeah, it's bizarre. It picks up and drops not just plot points but like... entire games at complete random. It's like hitting play on six movies at once and just switching from one to the next at totally random times.
in general the pacing is fricking nuts, there's way too many big monsters it's like they didn't know how to make an big open world with meaningful content so instead they decided to drop packs of generic enemies everywhere and then made ogres show up all over the place
the effect is the game doesn't feel like grounded fantasty at all any more, there's way too few bandits around as well
QRD on the blast meme?
paid shills?
just a moronic normalgay consoomer phrase
"doesn't matter if the game has 1001 issues, I'm having a blast anyway!"
you waifugays did irreparable damage to the meme pawn economy
I hope you're proud of yourselves
that pawn is cursed
HEE HEE
is that 240p upscaled?
That's 240i
dont bully
What card? Why not just play the first game?
1060 3gb
I already played the first game
where's the fun in that?
It's fricking over.
You could have bought a better card with those 80 bucks tbh
I'm actually surprised the game doesn't constantly crash on you with that
Meme pawns are funny for about 10 minutes.
Cooming is forever.
michael jackson catching you after a fall is never not funny
Is there any way to control where mage's default attack bolt goes? I'm trying to use it to trigger flare but it's fricking useless 99% of the time
>avoided archer for the longest
>really enjoy it
I swear this always happens
same
archer feels the best to play out of all the ranged classes
You mean mage?
I do love sorcerer. Meteon deletes shit.
I love japanese developers, every time it gets to the end of a game and all I see is red, I have no idea what the frick is goin' on.
Head there is a quest from a guard from the first city but I swear no one gives me anything, whats the name of the mission?
If it its the one Im thinking about, there is one guard in castle that will ask you to take away an important cerimonial sword and find someone to fix.
I dont remember the name atm, sorry
Thanks, Ill go take a look in the castle
having a blast!
This but unironically, I really do think the game is very fun to play.
>just bought a couple rift crystals off the store
No you didn't
SLAAAY KING! Get those daily bounty rewards completed!
Don't forget to log in tomorrow to keep your daily log in streak up.
wtf are you talking about? there are no daily rewards in dd2. it was not part of Itsuno’s vision.
Anon, that's Monster Hunter World.
>playing thief with poweder blast equipped
i am, in fact having a blast
>No manticore
>No wieneratrice
>No dragon variations
>No evil eye
>Can't play as a magical knight with a big shield.
God. Fricking. Damnit. ONE JOB CAPCOM, ONE FRICKING JOB. Expand on what was already there. What we get instead? A fricking race of furry people that isn't even that visually appealing.
>No medusa
>No dullahan
>No FRICKING Sphinx
>No Minotaur
>Can't play as twinblade Vergil
God. Fricking. Damnit. ONE JOB CAPCOM, ONE FRICKING JOB. Expand on what was already there. What we get instead? A fricking asset flip dungeon under Gran Soren isn't that interesting.
I'm so quirky and uinique
how do i get that top
How do I get that skirt
I always avoid bawd pawns, they are all the same.
>captain brant
>doodoo hair batthal guy
>spearhand npc
ew stinky esg
I'm still really early. What do we think?
The cute Asian pawn is my main. Somebody outfitted her with new armor pieces before sending her back. That is such a sweet mechanic. This game is amazing.
I wish I had a cute asian pawn, what's her code?
While playing around in free cam I noticed that all the NPCs in the entire castle were still fully rendered while I was standing at the highest point. Any visible character was rendered at max poly/texture quality regardless of distance, there's clearly no LOD or anything for them. It's bizzare to be zoomed out super far into the low res terrain LOD and see a 4k character walking around. They're either fully rendered with cloth physics, subsurface scattering, etc. or invisible, hence the pop in you can see.
Perhaps just doing some basic occlusion culling would help performance? Having ANY intermediary LOD for NPCs would also do wonders, and would avoid the awful pop in. I imagine suddenly loading in multiple insanely high res NPCs while walking around is part of the stuttering problem too
That's absolutely lughable. The framerate would probably jump by like 50% if they did this shit like every other open world game. This is worse than jeet tier.
I just killed the Dragon, talked to the ghost, went into the loop, killed myself and now the game throws some DrakeNier stuff at my title screen and cycle lore before throwing me into ALTTP's dark world am I far from the end?
You are exactly 7 ingame days from the end
Enjoy your time, Arisen.
It's coming soon and you can't stop it
What the frick
Did u rike it?
Can you forge the wine needed for the wayfarer class?
Between this game and AC6 it has become apparent to me that the trick to getting me to like AAA games is to just pretend you’re developing a PS3 or 360 game
starfield must be your goty
That game felt much more like a really shitty PS4 game than a good PS3 game tbh
Some anon said you can stop the fog in the unmoored world by using Talos after closing all but the final portal and remain in post game indefinitely that way, is this true?
make sure you savor it
Where's the fricking winds? Nothing is pushing me.
>magic vocations limited to 4 spell slots
Th-thanks, Itsuno senpai
do the rings stack? specifically the "reduce cast time slightly" one.
