They should've just had Frank and Isabella team up for Dead Rising 2 instead of leaving the open-ended True ending of DR1 to remain unclear while Frank splits from Isabella to... idk shitpost?
It's so set up for Isabella and Frank to have escaped from the hordes/military to become partners trying to expose the zombies for what they really are. Could've had co-op or even just multiple characters like if Isabella is better suited for some tasks than Frank is.
The series died the second they decided that the wacky weapons you could be forced to use in DR1 should be the primary focus of all future titles.
