The coziest TES game ever.
Soul, if you haven't played any other RPG it will probably be one hell of a ride you will remember for long.
In late game you will probably end up decreasing the difficulty, not because it's hard, it's piss easy, but because the level scaling is fricked up at a fundamental level.

I'll never understand this for Oblivion. Soul implies creativity, idiosyncrasy, a personal touch. Oblivion is generic fantasy meant to cash in on the popularity of the Lord of the Rings movies.
There are two soulful things in Oblivion: The music (by Jeremy SOVL), and radiant AI since that legitimately was an ambitious and unique passion project of Todd's.

Not the best TES game, but the most comfy one.
It's awful. npc behavior is absurd, oblivion levels are repetitive and the monsters are silly, guards will come after you is you move your own glass around at the bar. Music is good though. Play any other TES game or ESO. Even Fallout 4 is better than Oblivion.

It's the game that caused so-called 'lore-gays' to suffer apoplexy.
Which is funny because, with the exception of 'muh jungle', Oblivion follows the lore wuite closely.
It's not an accurate representation of most of the genre but the most modern evolution of first-person dungeon crawlers IMO. It's fun but the leveling system is pretty horrifically unbalanced.
Which can be modded to near perfection anyway.
It's goofy, but fun.
