Since you're more likely to get weapons you already have I like to get 2 weapons that can collab as fast as possible to "lock them in" and then focus on maxing them and getting the collab before getting any new weapons.
It's not considered "out" yet, but if you do consider it to out now, then you would also consider it out last year, so there is no metric in which you could call it the game of this year.

I just read the patch notes and found out Matsuri was nerfed. Wasn't she lower on the tier list? I thought she was a ton of fun, but I didn't think she was good. I'd put Ame, Fubuki, Azki, Calli and Korone above her, and they all got buffed. I also just saw Irys got buffed, I have her at #2 on my tier list. Maybe the item/weapon changes are playing a big part here, too.

The current long term goals for the update is competing highscores on the global leaderboard for each character, buying all furniture and decorating your house since it's the current money sink, leveling up your fishing and pets/manager levels.

You need at least one defensive item to tank some hits since that stage is claustrophobic.
You don't need defense if you build for DPS and run like hell.
Choco horn + plushie is my go to defensive items, plushie gives you some wiggle room to regen your health back when you get hit.
Just use Fuana and eventually you'll be able to face tank everything.

So aside from the gatcha, house and some barebones meta-progression, are there any secret stuff in the game? Like items hidden inside the stages, artifacts affecting the whole game, secret usable items or puzzles you have to solve to unlock shit hidden around the stages? Some actual goals to achieve and look forward to? Or is it a simple autobattler with the most basic functionality and no long-term goals?
The current long term goals for the update is competing highscores on the global leaderboard for each character, buying all furniture and decorating your house since it's the current money sink, leveling up your fishing and pets/manager levels.
