I doubt we’ll get all the extra modes, or if they do include some, that they are the same. Honestly the mercenaries game they made on 3DS wasn’t necessarily a bad idea, it just wasn’t big enough. If they ever made a mercenaries game with every playable character and then some and a ton of guns and movement options, I’d love that.
Here is how it probably goes. Leon goes in the house, gets attacked, breaks that guys neck somehow. In the basement he says no fricking way because he is sure he already killed that guy but the plaga inside him is still alive.
Oh this make sense then, but in the original, i really like the fact they juste leave you in front a man that attacking you after a cutsene and you in panic because it's not the typical zombie you expected (and the fact it was the first time using the camera behind the back)
It's funny because to modern audiences this will be a bad thing. If they buy a game (that they'll never beat) and it isn't AT LEAST 30 hours, it's not a good game.
if it's the same length but half of the game is another copypaste lab it'll still suck, length by itself is irrelevant, why are journalists so fricking clueless?
The difference is that New RE4 will only be worth a single playthrough.
Original RE4 somehow manages to be endlessly replayable despite being incredibly predictable and linear.
It's not, after 2 playthrough i had everything memorized and their was just nothing fun about it anymore, at least the original had 4 actually unique scenario that confused you and trick you with repeated playthrough, remake's only big change between scenarios is Leon use a shotgun claire use a grenade launcher, everything is shown on the map too making it way too simple.
>Original RE4 somehow manages to be endlessly replayable despite being incredibly predictable and linear.
The weapon upgrades and shop system make it this way
I've played through 5 times and still haven't used the Mine Thrower yet
you're grasping at straws. I dont doubt that they'll add corridors when you wont be able to sprint, but being able to block the chainsaw is less time consuming than having to respawn
RE4 is too long and boring. The QTE's aren't entertaining. I don't get tgia overrated game. Silent hills ones are better overall when it comes to quests and puzzles.
>It's a fun romp but it isn't challenging at all.
After you learn how the AI and shit works, sure. A lot of people complained about the 'tutorial' encounter in the village 5min into the game.
Resident Evil is not challenging. It never was a hardcore "survival" series. When will classicgays understand this? I feel like I'm talking to actual mentally insane motherfrickers whenever I come into these threads.
>but it isn't challenging at all.
It's sporadically challenging. The first fight in the village is hard, and I can see it being a huge filter for new players. Then there's that part in the castle, and then later on a few fights on the island are hard.
The more they change, the better for me. I want this to be more than just prettier RE4. Remix it or some shit, or have a whole new area in the process.
I hope they will at least being able to copy paste the mercenary mode, litteraly 0 imput to add from the preview balance.

The change from the first encounter already show it will be shit and they have no idea what they are doing anyway

Not spending $70 on a 10 hour game.
>proceeds to spend $140 on a 1 hour dinner with my girlfriend
>1 hour dinner with my girlfriend
You know damn well this also pays for the sex and a continued relationship in which she does not seek a better mate.

10 hours is nowhere near 15, they better not be bullshitting.

I want Leon to show Ada that she can be happy.
>Do every single thing in the game for 100% completion and it will be about the same length as the original casual run-through
fify

I doubt that, given that Remake 2 was one of the most replayable games made in the series.

Remakes cannot be GOTY. Is not their time.
That does not look like the 2023 game killer klowns from outer space the game though?
RE4 is too long and boring. The QTE's aren't entertaining. I don't get tgia overrated game. Silent hills ones are better overall when it comes to quests and puzzles.
RE4 was meant for babies to get into the series. It's a fun romp but it isn't challenging at all.

the starting area is harder than almost anything else in the game for the next 4 hours
same as village, the opening lycan starting fight is ridiculous compared to the rest of the game.

less content
more padding

>Give or take 4 hours

cool?
While I'm glad the Village and Castle chapters will remain intact they could leave out 75% of the island chapter and I wouldn't miss it.
No panties
No buy
We still got a skirt and turtleneck, be glad she's not a man hating feminizing who swears like a sailor and wears pants.
Notice they didn't mention which area is cut.
Island probably. Least iconic area in the game. I'd be fine with it if they made village or castle longer in turn.
They’ll probably just make the mining cavern part longer and have it end there.
But this scene from the island was shown, unless it gets moved to an earlier part of the game.
The more they change, the better for me. I want this to be more than just prettier RE4. Remix it or some shit, or have a whole new area in the process.
oy vey
The prison and industrial parts were my favorite part of the island, completely salvageable.
Village & Castle were in the trailer, so I guess it's island
