Changing that status quo is a risk to operation strix, a mary sue like Twilight isn't going to risk that and Yor is too autistic to give the signals that she actually wants it.
Twilight could have honeypot someone into the marriage for real but he was short on time to prepare the family, and this arrangement was a more stable way to set up the family on short notice

I skipped it at first after reading about the story but recently picked up and watched a lot because its really funny, love the silly faces and cute/stupid ideas in it. The last really funny anime that I remember would be Nichijou. I guess voice acting and vocab that Anya choses makes it funny too.

Well for starters the premise and setting of SxF are interesting and there aren't many manga/anime franchises that are somewhat comparable.

I just started this anime this week on Hulu (dub) and it's pretty nice to have something to watch that wasn't over the top shonen. It does walk a fine balance between action and character development. I highly recommend it for a change of pace.
