There's a flash indicating you should switch stance. In blue stance you just mash X until it happens at the end of the combo. In yellow stance you should do three normal attacks first before hold X since it charges faster that way. It also charges faster after you use a skill or link attack too. Also dodge offset if you think you might get hit during charging. After you do a stance switch attack, the next normal attack will be in the middle of her normal combo already so if you are switching from blue to yellow, you can immediately hold X again after the attack to do a fast charge attack (which you can then do a switch stance combo again to blue)
It just means dodging doesn't reset her combo count so in pink stance, after you do 3 normal attacks then dodge, the charged attack done right after that will still be as fast as if you are at the third step of the combo instead of being slow as shit. >what skills do you run on her?
The parry skill and Transient for me. Transient in blue stance seems to have good stun while the pink stance it has some decent AoE. The other two can really be whatever. You can make her into a tank by taking those 2 buffs skills or just take the back jump attack, the stinger skill or the one hit anime iai if you want to dump butterflies as often as possible.

From my experience Zeta and Charlotta was able to take MVP from me (using Rackam) when I upgraded all the characters in my party equally. Ferry was also in the party but she was never able to get MVP, maybe her AI is just bad because I can easily get MVP when I'm using her.

Taking cues from I've experienced from Dragalia, tanky characters are usually ass because time limit unless you want to auto-grind quests and that's with defensive passives all from the whole team powerup the leader up while the non-lead AI teammates deal most of the damage.
This is especially the case since his playstyle isn't designed to outright dodge attacks where damage adds up drastically.
After this character roster I never want to see any fujos and homos so much as open their mouths when it comes to "generic waifus" again. Imagine wasting 4 slots, all that work and dev time, on these four flavors of the same cardboard. And I have barely a clue about other Granblue characters but there must be male characters that look more interesting and unique than a fujo discovering AI image gen for the first time, right? One of these fricks would've been enough to cover this archetype.

I have sigils that have drain that help a lot, but a lot of proud fights, you have to be more aware and dodge or parry attacks with your charge attacks. Sucks that you can't really turn off stout, since a lot of times, stout would just kill be because of small aoes that stack on top of me.
No. I don't have a single idea of who any of these characters were and I have no trouble following the story. Characters all have little optional backstory texts with some personal quests if you want to know more about them

I am not a weeb, never played a JRPG, never played a game like this, monster hunter like reward and upgrade loop and I only got into GB from playing the fighting games but I am really loving this game.
Only issue I think is that most of the quests will become pointless as they are a cake walk when you have a character to max level.
It's an action game more like MonHun or even Genshin given its a team of four. The story isn't that long, it's about as long as a GBF sidestory if you read everything. If you like action games you'll like it, if you want a story, just go to the gacha, you can get like 30 of these stories for free immediately, and past the main 100 chapters or so, the main story does start to get better.
i wouldn't buy characters you have absolutely no interest with unless you don't care about weapons from the final boss, since they're random drops locked to a pool of your existing characters

Well there are things called "bosses" and they have "difficulty modes" if that's what you mean. No you won't be fighting a Golem on proud, the Proud fights are specifically designed for Proud
proud bosses have new moves but that is the last difficulty of 6
the bosses start to hit really hard by the 5th difficulty (ie oneshot) but before that it's not so bad
also idk if by difficulty you mean 'i die a lot' or 'i failed the quest a lot'. getting ko'd is forgiving since you only fail the quest if you run out of the revive meter
When you beat the game you will be able to replay the story from any chapter when you talk to the person at the quest counter. You can't miss any side quests.

Get the sigils that reduce aggro so they leave you alone.
you don't need that on io because she naturally moves backwards from the boss and they tend to target allies who are closer. improved dodge is far better because it lets you dodge mechanics and other attacks that aren't aimed at you

Your progression is tied to the materials it takes to uncap your weapons.
When you uncap, add the next materials to your wishlist, if it doesnt tell you where they are, its in the next difficulty above, which basically means that level of your weapon is the highest you will get at that level.
Basically the order of importance of progress for end game.

I'd say the characters that get the least representation online are Ghandagoza and Rosetta, those are the ones likely to get actual buffs, if there even gonna be one.
I think Rosetta was meant for just buffs in multiplayer. But the problem is that the attack buff is useless since everyone hitting the cap at endgame so you'll probably only using the defense buff and applying regen everytime. Her roses attacks so slow so they're useless as well and I'm not sure about the poison debuff if it reduces %hp or something. This is just my observation since I haven't extensively used her.
I've seen a decent amount of djeetas in jp, eugen does pretty alright too for some reason.
I think I only saw Eugen thrice but I haven't seen MC yet in my sessions.

Main story is like 10 hours if you rush through it but I dont suggest rushing through it at all. Start the gameplay loop, do quests in between, explore the towns for the respawnable loot in between quests, do side quests.
I finished main story and epilogue, didn't unlock any new character and did every quest up to that point at least once, finished around level 85-90 for my 4 main guys and took me around 35 hours. Not rushing at all of course.
There is no need to rush to end game, end game is just grind.
Then after that you need to make a build on your main at least and farm the maniac quest to level your shit up.
Basically the end game is a loop of do quests, get rewards, use rewards to level gear up. You may have to farm quests here and there, may only have to do shit once to level X up but its basically repeating the same quests over and over to get shit to get better stats to do better quests and do quests faster.

40~50 hrs if you are speed running with 1 character to get to the very end. But if you are building a team or leveling any of the 19 other characters you will get a lot more playtime.
I don't think the sales numbers matter to Cygames given they have multiple gachas and all microtransactions easily double, triple, even more of any sort of normal game sales.
I don't think the sales numbers matter to Cygames given they have multiple gachas and all microtransactions easily double, triple, even more of any sort of normal game sales.
Sales do matter, the pount is that the gatcha is finite and tyurning GB into a more recognized franchise is rather thana way to hook people into the gatcha but turn the franchise into over avenues.
Something like this game could actually become their new revenue if it stuck.
I want it to sell well because this game could be a foundation for something even better.

How do I play Narm? Is there any hidden tips with her, like how some characters can parry with charge attacks? Do any of her attacks give a parry/dodge? How do I know when I get the timing right for the stance switch?
There's a flash indicating you should switch stance. In blue stance you just mash X until it happens at the end of the combo. In yellow stance you should do three normal attacks first before hold X since it charges faster that way. It also charges faster after you use a skill or link attack too. Also dodge offset if you think you might get hit during charging. After you do a stance switch attack, the next normal attack will be in the middle of her normal combo already so if you are switching from blue to yellow, you can immediately hold X again after the attack to do a fast charge attack (which you can then do a switch stance combo again to blue)
By dodge offset, do you mean just dodge while charging the move? And what skills do you run on her?
It just means dodging doesn't reset her combo count so in pink stance, after you do 3 normal attacks then dodge, the charged attack done right after that will still be as fast as if you are at the third step of the combo instead of being slow as shit.

The parry skill and Transient for me. Transient in blue stance seems to have good stun while the pink stance it has some decent AoE. The other two can really be whatever. You can make her into a tank by taking those 2 buffs skills or just take the back jump attack, the stinger skill or the one hit anime iai if you want to dump butterflies as often as possible.
For the attack after the parry, does it combo into your combo chain in blue/pink? Do you get a swift charge after parrying in pink stance?
Yes, it still gives a swift charge in pink stance right after the counter hit lands although dodge offset doesn't seem to work for it.

Press X 1-3 times and then Y twice, switching to Y early any time you think you're going to get hit. Equip bubble and use during annoying mechanics. Mash Y when bar is full.

Your choice of self-buff and then a couple attacks, depending on how much additional healing you want, like maybe you don't want the one that also heals and instead want the one that aoes based on your ougi bar. Soul Eruption is less good than it is in the gacha because he has built in self-healing and guts is on a different skill.

From my experience Zeta and Charlotta was able to take MVP from me (using Rackam) when I upgraded all the characters in my party equally. Ferry was also in the party but she was never able to get MVP, maybe her AI is just bad because I can easily get MVP when I'm using her.

Taking cues from I've experienced from Dragalia, tanky characters are usually ass because time limit unless you want to auto-grind quests and that's with defensive passives all from the whole team powerup the leader up while the non-lead AI teammates deal most of the damage.
This is especially the case since his playstyle isn't designed to outright dodge attacks where damage adds up drastically.
I didn't choose the Grynoth life, the Grynoth life chose me.

I have sigils that have drain that help a lot, but a lot of proud fights, you have to be more aware and dodge or parry attacks with your charge attacks. Sucks that you can't really turn off stout, since a lot of times, stout would just kill be because of small aoes that stack on top of me.

Don't expect more than 10 hours of story content.
It's an action game more like MonHun or even Genshin given its a team of four. The story isn't that long, it's about as long as a GBF sidestory if you read everything. If you like action games you'll like it, if you want a story, just go to the gacha, you can get like 30 of these stories for free immediately, and past the main 100 chapters or so, the main story does start to get better.

Leveling to 100 does not make the soon to be crew members go up. Enter proud or maniac (can't remember which) and they will be 60 at the start.

You can, but if you want to just do your main, it will make grinding out weapons easier since you won't get drops for characters not unlocked.
You will be at 60 before they are. Check their levels when you unlock difficulties.
If you have no plans on using them then you can recruit them later on when you enter proud difficulty so that you won't waste any thing.
i wouldn't buy characters you have absolutely no interest with unless you don't care about weapons from the final boss, since they're random drops locked to a pool of your existing characters

also idk if by difficulty you mean 'i die a lot' or 'i failed the quest a lot'. getting ko'd is forgiving since you only fail the quest if you run out of the revive meter

Ideally you want to save vouchers for when you hit proud as that will drop V+ tier sigils, the highest rarity but you will probably need to use them on maniac to get sigils so you can complete the quests.

Your progression is tied to the materials it takes to uncap your weapons.
When you uncap, add the next materials to your wishlist, if it doesnt tell you where they are, its in the next difficulty above, which basically means that level of your weapon is the highest you will get at that level.
Basically the order of importance of progress for end game.

I think Rosetta was meant for just buffs in multiplayer. But the problem is that the attack buff is useless since everyone hitting the cap at endgame so you'll probably only using the defense buff and applying regen everytime. Her roses attacks so slow so they're useless as well and I'm not sure about the poison debuff if it reduces %hp or something. This is just my observation since I haven't extensively used her.
I think I only saw Eugen thrice but I haven't seen MC yet in my sessions.

how long is the MSQ and how long is the end game? What is there to do at end game? Is it just monster hunter?
Main story is like 10 hours if you rush through it but I dont suggest rushing through it at all. Start the gameplay loop, do quests in between, explore the towns for the respawnable loot in between quests, do side quests.
I finished main story and epilogue, didn't unlock any new character and did every quest up to that point at least once, finished around level 85-90 for my 4 main guys and took me around 35 hours. Not rushing at all of course.
There is no need to rush to end game, end game is just grind.
Then after that you need to make a build on your main at least and farm the maniac quest to level your shit up.
Basically the end game is a loop of do quests, get rewards, use rewards to level gear up. You may have to farm quests here and there, may only have to do shit once to level X up but its basically repeating the same quests over and over to get shit to get better stats to do better quests and do quests faster.
End game is infinite.

Techincally all of it can be done solo, but with how the game works you'd be grinding a lot longer trying to get all the AI companions geared up.
So I'd say of the 7 difficulties the first 5 can be done with bots super easy. Once you get to maniac you are gonna want to do coop.

40~50 hrs if you are speed running with 1 character to get to the very end. But if you are building a team or leveling any of the 19 other characters you will get a lot more playtime.

I don't think the sales numbers matter to Cygames given they have multiple gachas and all microtransactions easily double, triple, even more of any sort of normal game sales.
Sales do matter, the pount is that the gatcha is finite and tyurning GB into a more recognized franchise is rather thana way to hook people into the gatcha but turn the franchise into over avenues.
Something like this game could actually become their new revenue if it stuck.
I want it to sell well because this game could be a foundation for something even better.
Imagine the game was like this, but with like 500 quests, each with multiple difficulties and the cities were social lobbies, like SF6 battle hub or whatever.
They just need to break free of the gatcha shackle but the gatcha shit sneaked into this game too.
My assumption is that they will release some cosmetic and possibly quest DLC in the future
