Despite being very unpopular (as far as I can tell), Ghandagoza seems like the best designed character mechanically. I've played everyone and everything in his toolkit (perhaps with the exception of some skills you don't have to take), is useful and flows in a natural way that doesn't feel contrived.
His basic string forms the basis of his play like most characters, but his air combo string is also useful and has clear use cases (as opposed to being totally useless IE Siegfriend or totally subsuming grounded play IE Ferry). His Skills have clear use cases and aren't something you use just because they're off CD like a lot of Id or Percival skills to skip to a combo finisher.
If you like Siegfried I would highly recommend picking up Ghandagoza too. The feel is similar but Goza loses some of the modular mobility and gains almost everything else. I would also caution that using DPS dummy tests is often not a great indicator of a characters effectiveness in practice, and this is probably most true with Ghanda who likely has the strongest link time in the game. Not something that's easy to test but I think people assume it's Percival when I'm certain it's Ghanda who has the strongest link time.
Setting all that aside the most important thing is that he's very fun. Much more fun than spamming jump attack with Ferry and Rackam.
I just wish his hitboxes were a bit more lenient. Especially against bigger bosses like proto bahamut or vulkan bola. The amount of times I've missed my punches because the boss either reeled back beyond the invisible wall or was flinched by other players is honestly not funny anymore. Building Eternal rage is already quite tedious but doing all that and missing your Raging Fist because the boss decided to do an animation as you release the attack is really really frustrating.

I think it's like 5-10 times then it auto-kicks you unless you reselect the option. Which requires you to not be afk, however I think the anons are using a macro to idle all day.

Io is a lot of fun with the big ass nuke. I decided to give Cag another try because I didn't like her playstyle at first, and something just clicked. Been having tons of fun with her now.
i played Cag almost the entire campaign, i think she has the most fun kit and playstyle, in fact most characters pale in comparison to her.
but in post game i started boosting up Io and having too much fun with that to go back and grind up my Cag/Djeeta, the other characters i like.
I hate how most skills in this game are pretty much only useful for story mode.
Once you start grinding for endgame, every single survival skill and team buff is downright useless because of damage cap.
Most characters have some sort of heal or buff that literally becomes a waste of a skill slots later on. Cog has three of them an attack debuff, a status debuff, and a fricking heal.

The only question I have with most of the Id players I see online is why are they not capitalizing on Godmight? It's like when they enter Godmight they immediately use the finisher to go back to one.
there's actually a strategy around that, ending Godmight early lets you get back to Dragonform earlier, which is a free refresh of all four of its abilities especially the beam which can do over a million damage to large targets when spaced correctly

The new Harvin girl in Relink collects some legendary weapons. There is also Siete (voiced by Archer) who loves swords and defeats people to collect their sword's spirits (it would be unfair to just take them without fight or the weapons themselves). She's good, arguably the best support with the best AoE nukes in the game. A good Rosetta should always get Executioner for bosses which spawn adds.
Use Rose Tycoon for when a boss moves, you can also spam heavy with a certain timing to shit out three roses in two seconds. Iron Maiden + Spiral in melee let's your roses hit extra for every count of your own Spiral, which shits out damage. You can dodge-cancel all her skills except Spiral too for twitchy bosses.

Doing the cannons is more fun than waiting around for crystals to spawn and oneshotting them anyway. A single ranged character can stand still and take care of all of them alone. Hell Io can precharge a single, non-orb charge and oneshot every crystal before anyone can even get to it.

Who's the most fun character to play as? I only unlocked Zeta so far, and her moveset feels clunky and stiff compared to the main character. Are they all like this?
Just feels really shallow and static, you're mostly stuck airborne with limited movement options, and the only thing you can do is try to spam the speardive into backflip. You also don't even get a heavy attack while on the ground.
It is pretty simple but i would not use static, you have a good projectile, a great counter and your moveset is naturally good at chasing opponents and dealing damage while being evasive and avoiding a lot of attacks naturally

Yoda has a somewhat difficult parry baked into his moveset that gives a sizable reward, but you can't use it repeatedly to parry multiple attacks. It's best used after a boss' last move that leaves them open.
Charged parry characters work similarly but require a bit more setup. Charlotta has a baked-in parry on her combo finisher that is pretty easy to use.

my Io that does 2.3kk damage with charged, 2.1kk without glass cannon. it's good enough and farming perfect sigils are just tedious task. damage cap is moronic imo in this game. there are 10+ different ways to increase damage or attack bit everything is pointless if there is no damage cap
yea, just a bit but removing 1 will bring below 65 and as I mentioned I can't get any more damage anyway, only some commodity sigils, but all the fights are like super easy on proud difficulty. I almost everytime get mvp, it doesn't make a difference to minmax
You're not even running 2x quick charge, which also increases your dps as Io because almost everything you do is a charged attack. Level up those damage caps and replace one and the glass canon with them for your non-training dummy damage per screenshot loadout.
Unless I'm remembering this wrong, quick charge from sigils always works even when you're already getting quicker charging from Io's kit. And it also buffs your charged attack damage, helping you hit cap. With no downside.
Granblue chads, I finished the main story of the game this week and the only thing I really know about the world and characters is from when I played Shadowverse a lot a few years ago, so I was wondering how popular actually are characters like Cerberus, Medusa and Vania and is there ever a chance to see them in these types of games?
All three of those are Rage of Bahamut characters, not Granblue originals. Back in RoB they wre actually really popular all three were at the top of popularity polls. In Granblue their popularity is meh. Vampy does get decent amount of content and Medusa has been paired into a group of characters that get almost yearly content in someway. Cerberus is mostly forgotten but at least got her uncap few years back which also gave her a lore relevant role but who knows if they will actually use that that in future angels content.
All in alll I am saying that their chances arent great (due to being imports, not grub originals) but Vampy and Medu have it better than Cerberus. They added Grimnir to Rising too so they are opening adding RoB characters to spin offs now. No Yuel doesnt count the RoB and Grub one share even less between each other than fricking Forte does

To be fair, there's a lot of characters to buy weapons for from the Smith but as far as I can tell, they don't do much other than save you some centrums and raid drops.

long answer: yes, but only half of it is related to charge speed. quick charge still helps you charge fast even on a fast charge from dodge cancel or skill, but the damage boost it gives is part of an important Exodia formula since his rotating fireball damage glitch is actually difficult to cap out without using most of the damage sigils and having 1 on a wright stone as well (stamina, quick charge, tyranny, combo booster/skill damage sigil, life on the line on wrightstone, +20% skill damage as 4th overmastery)

She has a shield made of her weapons. She will also try to shoot you with these weapons and the y will get stuck in the ground for a bit. You can hit and destroy them which will weaken her shield.
During bloodthirst just look and dodge the fireworks. After she is done with her super weapon combo you can target and destroy the weapons, which will weaken her greatly.
But they do? It wasn't effective against Lilith because astrals can control primals. Proto bahamut isn't Bahamut proper but a primal beast created from a fragment of him.
In ReLink they fricking do, in the main game she only called Bahamut like twice in the span of 10 years.

You are forced to use Djeeta in few sections just like on first run of the game but you arent forced to use Danchou in your team outside of that like before
You can play with any party outside of a couple forced sections with Danchou/Id. The difficulty is around beginning of Proud, so if you have good sigils, then even with normal weapons it is going to be a cakewalk.

Level is irrelevant, people will get scaled down if they are too powerful. If you're on pc then try switching your download region if the matchmaking is still tied to that.

Okay, so I've geared up a few characters, and they all hit the maximum possible DPS with this stupid cap system. Now what? What am I supposed to do in this game? Because boss fights feel like just a rush mode, attempting to beat whatever endgame boss in less than 30 seconds. It's not like monster hunter where even when fully geared, the bosses were somewhat fun to fight and lasted long enough to provide a challenge.
I S++ed it in a Ganker lobby. But I also actually got Quick Matched into it once. And we S++ed it with randoms too. It's quite easy... as long as you're not playing with AI.

Ignore the fact that 99% of people talk about the grind. If anything, the issue is that it's too easy, even on hard, so you'll want to avoid grinding earlier on if anything

Is Combo Booster worth it on Narmaya? I've recently started using it because other's have said its good on her, but I'm not convinced at all that its actually doing anything. I'm at a point where I'm trying to farm and create the best end game build possible.

Yeah, if you queue for specific quest you can destroy it instantly. Sometimes I queue for Quick Quest, and up in a Very Hard quest, and me and two other players have the scaling icon next to our portraits, and the lvl 100 host does not.
I hate that this was a motivating factor for me to do endgame grinding

You say that but when you realize how many fricking cutscenes each fight has, you'll want to delete them as fast as possible too. Unskippable intro cutscenes for every fight, super moves that have unskippable cutscenes, camera and character control taken away from players at every possible moment. All for "spectacle". Now you farm them dozens of times and have to watch the same shit over and over and over. Deleting them fast can save you 1 or 2 cutscenes a fight.
There's not that many prostitutes to begin with I feel. And I can't think of a brown one at all (as in genuine prostitutes and not meme shit like Kolulu seducing an adult like me and needing a correction).

Despite being very unpopular (as far as I can tell), Ghandagoza seems like the best designed character mechanically. I've played everyone and everything in his toolkit (perhaps with the exception of some skills you don't have to take), is useful and flows in a natural way that doesn't feel contrived.
His basic string forms the basis of his play like most characters, but his air combo string is also useful and has clear use cases (as opposed to being totally useless IE Siegfriend or totally subsuming grounded play IE Ferry). His Skills have clear use cases and aren't something you use just because they're off CD like a lot of Id or Percival skills to skip to a combo finisher.
If you like Siegfried I would highly recommend picking up Ghandagoza too. The feel is similar but Goza loses some of the modular mobility and gains almost everything else. I would also caution that using DPS dummy tests is often not a great indicator of a characters effectiveness in practice, and this is probably most true with Ghanda who likely has the strongest link time in the game. Not something that's easy to test but I think people assume it's Percival when I'm certain it's Ghanda who has the strongest link time.
Setting all that aside the most important thing is that he's very fun. Much more fun than spamming jump attack with Ferry and Rackam.

The amount of times I've missed my punches because the boss either reeled back beyond the invisible wall or was flinched by other players is honestly not funny anymore. Building Eternal rage is already quite tedious but doing all that and missing your Raging Fist because the boss decided to do an animation as you release the attack is really really frustrating.

Damage caps just vary wildly. I think there's not a lot of discussion since the damage output from some of these specific attacks is frankly overkill in the game's current state or encourages a playstyle people don't care about. From characters I've tried Vaseraga's 2L1H, Ferry's launcher, and Rackam's jump heavy are difficult to cap. I need a def down for Rackam's jump even with Less is More, Life on the Line, Tyranny, and Stamina.

Zetas kick after the dive has the same cap as her dive but far lower dmg scaling, so you need a lot of damage to cap that. Its a bit stupid.

Io is a lot of fun with the big ass nuke. I decided to give Cag another try because I didn't like her playstyle at first, and something just clicked. Been having tons of fun with her now.
i played Cag almost the entire campaign, i think she has the most fun kit and playstyle, in fact most characters pale in comparison to her.
but in post game i started boosting up Io and having too much fun with that to go back and grind up my Cag/Djeeta, the other characters i like.

I forgot another one, a fricking revive skill, that literally four useless skills for end game content.

The only question I have with most of the Id players I see online is why are they not capitalizing on Godmight? It's like when they enter Godmight they immediately use the finisher to go back to one.
there's actually a strategy around that, ending Godmight early lets you get back to Dragonform earlier, which is a free refresh of all four of its abilities especially the beam which can do over a million damage to large targets when spaced correctly
but it's more likely that most of the Id players are just stupid and don't know how to manage resources

no, Ragnarok form has a long cooldown and only Dragonform abilities get refreshed. But after Godmight finisher you can get back into dragon form extremely fast by dodge canceling Unbound into the flurry a couple of times, especially with his unique sigils boosting Versalis gauge gain.
It only resets dragon form CDs, Id's regular skill CDs are unaffected
When you have a setup that lets you go back into dragon at will it kinda doesn't matter. I only go into base form when I need to tank.

AI can finish most quests without you once they have good enough sigils and masteries. You need to grind a bit to get to that point though.

She's good, arguably the best support with the best AoE nukes in the game. A good Rosetta should always get Executioner for bosses which spawn adds.
Use Rose Tycoon for when a boss moves, you can also spam heavy with a certain timing to shit out three roses in two seconds. Iron Maiden + Spiral in melee let's your roses hit extra for every count of your own Spiral, which shits out damage. You can dodge-cancel all her skills except Spiral too for twitchy bosses.

Doing the cannons is more fun than waiting around for crystals to spawn and oneshotting them anyway. A single ranged character can stand still and take care of all of them alone. Hell Io can precharge a single, non-orb charge and oneshot every crystal before anyone can even get to it.

zeta is pretty simple and smooth to play especially compared to danchou so idk what the frick you're doing
Just feels really shallow and static, you're mostly stuck airborne with limited movement options, and the only thing you can do is try to spam the speardive into backflip. You also don't even get a heavy attack while on the ground.
It is pretty simple but i would not use static, you have a good projectile, a great counter and your moveset is naturally good at chasing opponents and dealing damage while being evasive and avoiding a lot of attacks naturally

currently just running lvl50 parzival unga bunga fire just after the story
Yoda has a somewhat difficult parry baked into his moveset that gives a sizable reward, but you can't use it repeatedly to parry multiple attacks. It's best used after a boss' last move that leaves them open.
Charged parry characters work similarly but require a bit more setup. Charlotta has a baked-in parry on her combo finisher that is pretty easy to use.
you don't want to parry on charlotta because it removes noble stance. it's better to dodge offset and keep noble stance and only do the finisher if you have sword of lumiel or shining onslaught coming off cooldown to go back into noble stance

it is her single highest dps move, if you don't use it you're not playing charlotta correctly

You're not even running 2x quick charge, which also increases your dps as Io because almost everything you do is a charged attack. Level up those damage caps and replace one and the glass canon with them for your non-training dummy damage per screenshot loadout.
I've tried with quickcharge, I didn't see impactful difference as I always cast with quick cast active
Unless I'm remembering this wrong, quick charge from sigils always works even when you're already getting quicker charging from Io's kit. And it also buffs your charged attack damage, helping you hit cap. With no downside.

Granblue chads, I finished the main story of the game this week and the only thing I really know about the world and characters is from when I played Shadowverse a lot a few years ago, so I was wondering how popular actually are characters like Cerberus, Medusa and Vania and is there ever a chance to see them in these types of games?
All three of those are Rage of Bahamut characters, not Granblue originals. Back in RoB they wre actually really popular all three were at the top of popularity polls. In Granblue their popularity is meh. Vampy does get decent amount of content and Medusa has been paired into a group of characters that get almost yearly content in someway. Cerberus is mostly forgotten but at least got her uncap few years back which also gave her a lore relevant role but who knows if they will actually use that that in future angels content.
All in alll I am saying that their chances arent great (due to being imports, not grub originals) but Vampy and Medu have it better than Cerberus. They added Grimnir to Rising too so they are opening adding RoB characters to spin offs now. No Yuel doesnt count the RoB and Grub one share even less between each other than fricking Forte does

long answer: yes, but only half of it is related to charge speed. quick charge still helps you charge fast even on a fast charge from dodge cancel or skill, but the damage boost it gives is part of an important Exodia formula since his rotating fireball damage glitch is actually difficult to cap out without using most of the damage sigils and having 1 on a wright stone as well (stamina, quick charge, tyranny, combo booster/skill damage sigil, life on the line on wrightstone, +20% skill damage as 4th overmastery)

She has a shield made of her weapons. She will also try to shoot you with these weapons and the y will get stuck in the ground for a bit. You can hit and destroy them which will weaken her shield.
During bloodthirst just look and dodge the fireworks. After she is done with her super weapon combo you can target and destroy the weapons, which will weaken her greatly.

You are forced to use Djeeta in few sections just like on first run of the game but you arent forced to use Danchou in your team outside of that like before
You can play with any party outside of a couple forced sections with Danchou/Id. The difficulty is around beginning of Proud, so if you have good sigils, then even with normal weapons it is going to be a cakewalk.

Okay, so I've geared up a few characters, and they all hit the maximum possible DPS with this stupid cap system. Now what? What am I supposed to do in this game? Because boss fights feel like just a rush mode, attempting to beat whatever endgame boss in less than 30 seconds. It's not like monster hunter where even when fully geared, the bosses were somewhat fun to fight and lasted long enough to provide a challenge.

Ignore the fact that 99% of people talk about the grind. If anything, the issue is that it's too easy, even on hard, so you'll want to avoid grinding earlier on if anything

Is Combo Booster worth it on Narmaya? I've recently started using it because other's have said its good on her, but I'm not convinced at all that its actually doing anything. I'm at a point where I'm trying to farm and create the best end game build possible.
No you can naturally cap out dmg with just a single tyranny. You want to run cascade on her instead to reduce cooldown.

Yeah, if you queue for specific quest you can destroy it instantly. Sometimes I queue for Quick Quest, and up in a Very Hard quest, and me and two other players have the scaling icon next to our portraits, and the lvl 100 host does not.
I hate that this was a motivating factor for me to do endgame grinding

You say that but when you realize how many fricking cutscenes each fight has, you'll want to delete them as fast as possible too. Unskippable intro cutscenes for every fight, super moves that have unskippable cutscenes, camera and character control taken away from players at every possible moment. All for "spectacle". Now you farm them dozens of times and have to watch the same shit over and over and over. Deleting them fast can save you 1 or 2 cutscenes a fight.

yeah it's trivial to hit 100 once you finish the story and get a bit into the postgame, there's a quest that's full of exp slimes.
Character level barely matters in the grand scheme of things, what you need is mastery points to unlock your sigil slots and upgrade your passives
