I have a shitton of Garrison and Bastion sigils on for AFK farming. But I thought those are always active on a separate damage reduction modifier form Damage Cut. I guess you do get 90% from 10% base and 2x40%, but I can't think of any reason why the 40% cut would be applied twice.
Tried moving crabvestment to Rosetta, it is just the sigil that's required for Rose Barrier to apply twice.
The alternating 50/90 is still weird to me, I'd be curious to see what's happening under the hood for that.

I guess, maybe I'll just comb through his defensive mastery tree, to check if he has any conditional damage cut passives.
Crabvestments is bugged to currently give 2x+10 damage cut, where x is any other source of damage cut. Vanes personal sigil gives him 20% on a combo finisher, meaning crabvestments doubles that and then adds 10, for a total of 50. Rosettas giving 40 is doubled to 80 and then has 10 added on top for a total of 90.
It's honestly not. It's about a 1.33x multiplier to effective health, but can't have a secondary trait. Aegis alone does more than that at 1.36x and can roll alongside an orange trait. Stout heart does even more at around a 1.43x, and while it also can't have a secondary, it does give permanent super armor. Crabvestments is really only worth it if you're using the bug.

Before the writing got all flanderized, Draph were a race of skillful miners, metallurgists and smiths. Nowadays they just take some pop-culture reference and put in the world of Granblue without any consideration.
Year one of grub hast martial artist, drunk ass nun, cavewoman, circus acrobat and detectives while having just 1 mining and smithing focused playable draph. It was never really big focus for them outside of one island which is heavily populated by them and is forge focused.

Honestly it's probably not the biggest meme on Charlotta. Even with max combo booster stacks, a double orange crit wrightstone, and her def down, she needs atk buffs and/or replacing supp Vs with other oranges to cap spin. Since capped spin is over half her damage contribution, atk+1000 isn't wasted on her and does add a nice bit of contribution toward reaching that cap.

You get a crit stone and overmastery crit rate and you get 100% or close to it.
The point being I would still waste a sigil slot for stamina or Tyranny because I have the rare roll Crit-Tyranny sigil already.

Man, AI with superarmor starts acting straight up suicidal. They stop dodging completely. Even during Bloodthirst phases, when the boss fricks off somewhere unreachable and starts shitting out AoEs, the AI with stout heart will simply stand there, eating damage.

This leaves every character with 2 slots that could be orange, and an additional 7 utility slots that are to be paired with an orange. Some characters need those 2 extra oranges to cap one part of their kit. Best is usually combo booster+ either quick charge, skilled assault or combo finisher assuming the attack you're trying to push qualifies for those. If not, then life on the line is your next best bet assuming you need 4 total.
This gives you roughly 7 "utility" slots left. Potion and dodge are probably the two I would fit into literally every build, and usually characters have at least 1 personal worth taking, so that's 3 out of the 7. The remaining 4 are things like aegis/guts/autorevive for protection against one-shots, cascade/quick cooldown, the other character sigil, drain to heal up chip damage, uplift for maybe a better SBA timing.
If it were me, I'd do potion, dodge, aegis, cascade and 1 quick cooldown, with both character sigils. If I don't need 4 oranges to cap, I run the awakening and save myself from RNG hell
Because stacking 2 stamina is just 1.70x, but stacking 1 stamina and 1 tyranny is 1.51 x 1.36 or 2.0536x. stacking more of the same is just additive, and usually caps out way sooner. Stamina for instance gets 1.51 off of 1 level V with sigil booster. Adding a second pushes that to 1.70, which is a comparative ~1.125x boost. It's also why people don't use crit damage, since you get 2x damage on crit with full mastery, so pushing it to 2.36x is really really small.
Sounds like you need to upgrade your weapons, and your AI's weapons as well, I'm not sure what you might be doing wrong, it was quite easy for me until about the last difficulty.

Huh, so chromatic vision really is the best centrum farm. I'm always surprised when just a community can intuit optimal strategies long before hard numbers and testing. Same thing happened with using Eugen and Rackam as AI.
To be fair Eugen and Rackam as the best AIs just makes intuitive sense. AI can aim and time attacks perfectly but struggles with pathfinding and knowing when to commit to attacks, Eugen and Rackam are exemplified by its strengths and eliminate its weaknesses.
Slag and Collateral both have insane burst, he's the best CPU when he uses them well but falls off if he doesn't. On average he's worth slotting, but I dislike his inconsistency and lack of utility personally.
So far my preferences for third CPU are Rosetta > Rackam > Percival
What's better, a maxed out stunner weapon with 83% crit or a crit weapon? I feel bad getting carried in Proud without an ascended weapon but I just don't have the resources for it

I have no idea what the frick is the point of ascension weapons. Mine is barely at rank 3 and I'm through most of proud (and I did every difficulty below's missions multiple times)
Skins. For most of the characters they match their aesthetic and/or are literally their actual weapons from the gacha, either from rolls or they actually use it in battle: characters are tied to weapons which they may or may not wield, like Narmaya doesn't use Venustas but rolling it gives you her Dark version. Meanwhile Percival has a super special version of himself that you obtain by rolling the Lord of Flames, and he actually wields it.
I think the ascension weapon awakening glow might also be different per weapon, because I saw a video of the Lord of Flames in particular and it had a really cool red glow that makes it look like it's on fire. I only have Narmaya's ascension weapon fully awakened, so I can't compare several weapons, but hers definitely isn't the same color.
How the frick do you do Chromatic Vision with the three crocodiles? You can't do shit, as soon as you spawn you get charged down by all three of them and get one-shotted. Then you can't do shit because you get charged from off-screen eternally because frick this shit fight.
So now that I'm playing with the big kids in Proud difficulty and have to worry about things like damage caps, is it worth actually using stuff like defensive sigils and drain? Or will bosses just continue to one-shit me no matter what? I'm mailing Siegfried, foe what it's worth.
Use potion hoarder, improved dodge, guts, and auto revive. Potion hoarder gives +2 revive potions, and guts/autorevive are free "don't die to shit" on a 2-6 minute timer. Improved dodge gives you 4 more dodges and gives iframes for the whole animation of each (perfect dodge timing is the same as always)
Guts and autorevive don't REALLY need to be maxed out, since a lot of quests end up being less than the cooldown timer of the buff, so you'd only ever really be getting one usage either way.

Sieg either builds one of two ways: >Dodge and cooldown heavy, with improved dodge, cascade, quick cooldown, and nimble onslaught >Face tank heavy, with steel nerves, aegis, garrison. Honestly siegfried really isn't worth the effort he takes in proud. Vane does the face tanking thing better while also doing better damage and having crazy good uptime on the bubble

So I've heard, but he's fun as hell and I feel powerful when I play him. The little spikes of dopamine I get from pulling off a full perfect combo is almost unrivalled, I tells ya.
Something like this would be probably what i'd do I think. You can change life on the line out for combo booster, and the secondary traits don't need to be in this specific order. The auto revives a flex spot and could be whatever utility you want. Aegis is just enough to make me not die to some hits, and something like autorevive/guts is good when learning fights, but falls off usefulness once you know when to dodge/block.

I got that around 130-140 hours or so. You get a massive amount of transmarvel rolls once you start farming for terminus materials.

Oh trust me, I have no plans on dropping my boy sieg any time soon, even after experimenting with other characters. Low damage or not, his playstyle clicks with me in a way few others do, so I'm gonna make it work.

I don't think I'd be able to handle a female counterpart to sieg. It would be too much for my poor heart and/or boner.
Use your Nvidia driver's Vsync to avoid stuttering when you drop from 60, it's way better than the in-game Vsync, I also have a GTX 1080 and that made the game perform much more consistently, also you will have to set Rendering and Lighting to "Standard", those are very demanding, you can set Textures to Ultra though.
Does Charlotta have low damage caps? I put my only damage cap (III) on her and she's still capped. Taking a while to do these quests still but way faster now that I found that sigil.
Her damage cap is average on her attacks and skills but she has an absurdly high cap on her right click finisher. Her optimal damage rotation is get noble stance->right click->dodge cancel->right click to chainsaw away boss HP.
Yeah I don't dodge cancel but that's pretty much what I do

anyway it looks I'm capped on her X and skill, her Y is still uncapped
You don't always need to dodge cancel if it's a huge opponent but anything shorter than a standing golem and you want to dodge cancel or you're wasting tons of damage. You can test it on a dummy.
Also you don't want to use her combo to get noble stance unless you have literally 0 skills on cooldown. Usually what I do is gap closer->finisher->holy ladder->finisher->fast slash skill (held)->finisher >her Y is still uncapped
Then you should stack more damage sigils until you get more damage caps.
How much of a difference would there be comparing a fully upgraded Awakened Ascension weapon and a Terminus weapon? Some of the Terminus weapons are ugly as FRICK

Probably inexperienced at fighting it. I was pretty bad my first few rounds against it. The stupid swipe it does work its claws caught me off guard a couple of times.

I eventually understood I could throw orbs at the white dragon to remove his buffs, but I have no idea what the dark crucible and friends are for
Besides the typical dragon attack patterns, he spams slow AOEs and has a frickhuge laser that he sweeps twice. Bloodthirst is flying up into the air and creating a black hole in the center, which sucks you in strongly and then sends out a shockwave ring + dark balls, repeating several times, with the last wave having a bit of a stronger suction and an extra slow wave.
Chucking orbs at him will slow him, but it's not like white dragon where there's a "special" interaction (not that dispelling is special, but almost nobody has any in their taken skills), it just gives you a DPS window. He is sometimes immune to slow in overdrive, I've noticed, not sure what causes that.
Yeah I think his self buff makes him immune to all debuffs, so I guess that's why I never noticed the slow

I'm biased, but I genuinely consider Yoda a better Lancelot. You have forward momentum on your swings so you don't have to he perpetually glued to the boss in or lder to hit. You have invincibility on your combo finisher letting you cheat in a hit. You have incredible utility by giving the entire party 3 free hits of mirror image. I just can't play Lance after trying Yoda.

For me, it looks like this, and it remains open along with the game, but I did pirate the game, I think it should work for you just the same though, in your screenshot it says something about trying the "ASI loader" method, maybe give that a shot, you can see that option under "Edit Application"
The ASI loader did the trick. I wasn't sure about messing with it cause it gave me a warning, but it worked. The command prompt thing also stays open now.

Nice, by the way, in my experience you just need to launch Reloaded II to install the mods, you can then run the game normally without it and the mods should still be installed.
Make sure your game is updated to at least 1.04
It took me hours to figure that out. If thats not the problem not sure what it could be... Make sure you have the mod manager listed as a dependency for all the other mods.

4th extreme quest is a good AFK place in that case, it's very easy so any ai can handle it, give tons of M and some L. Some shit that can be turned into voucher on top too

I have a shitton of Garrison and Bastion sigils on for AFK farming. But I thought those are always active on a separate damage reduction modifier form Damage Cut. I guess you do get 90% from 10% base and 2x40%, but I can't think of any reason why the 40% cut would be applied twice.
Tried moving crabvestment to Rosetta, it is just the sigil that's required for Rose Barrier to apply twice.
The alternating 50/90 is still weird to me, I'd be curious to see what's happening under the hood for that.

Crabvestments is bugged to currently give 2x+10 damage cut, where x is any other source of damage cut. Vanes personal sigil gives him 20% on a combo finisher, meaning crabvestments doubles that and then adds 10, for a total of 50. Rosettas giving 40 is doubled to 80 and then has 10 added on top for a total of 90.
Wish I could get more copies of Crabvestments. Even without the bug, it's the best defensive sigil.
It's honestly not. It's about a 1.33x multiplier to effective health, but can't have a secondary trait. Aegis alone does more than that at 1.36x and can roll alongside an orange trait. Stout heart does even more at around a 1.43x, and while it also can't have a secondary, it does give permanent super armor. Crabvestments is really only worth it if you're using the bug.
You can stack it multiplicatively, moron. Its a must for full tank builds

Honestly it's probably not the biggest meme on Charlotta. Even with max combo booster stacks, a double orange crit wrightstone, and her def down, she needs atk buffs and/or replacing supp Vs with other oranges to cap spin. Since capped spin is over half her damage contribution, atk+1000 isn't wasted on her and does add a nice bit of contribution toward reaching that cap.

Man, AI with superarmor starts acting straight up suicidal. They stop dodging completely. Even during Bloodthirst phases, when the boss fricks off somewhere unreachable and starts shitting out AoEs, the AI with stout heart will simply stand there, eating damage.

pretty much everyone thinks so, the mechanics are more lethal, it has better music, and it's a much more challenging fight relative to how geared you are at the time you unlock it
Yeah, I only recently got to Proto, and I can't help but notice how Versa felt like a better fight, makes sense that most people agree on that.
Oh yeah, but I mean with adjusted difficulties of course, Versa is like lvl.125 and Proto is 150, just swap their "strength around and their spots in the quests, would have been cooler I think.

The only character i have seen that doesn't follow this build is rosseta and that's only because her plants don't activate supplemental (or so i heard) so its not as good with her but that's it.

1 crit rate paired with an orange trait
20/20 crit rate and normal cap on over mastery
10 crit wrightstone
This leaves every character with 2 slots that could be orange, and an additional 7 utility slots that are to be paired with an orange. Some characters need those 2 extra oranges to cap one part of their kit. Best is usually combo booster+ either quick charge, skilled assault or combo finisher assuming the attack you're trying to push qualifies for those. If not, then life on the line is your next best bet assuming you need 4 total.
This gives you roughly 7 "utility" slots left. Potion and dodge are probably the two I would fit into literally every build, and usually characters have at least 1 personal worth taking, so that's 3 out of the 7. The remaining 4 are things like aegis/guts/autorevive for protection against one-shots, cascade/quick cooldown, the other character sigil, drain to heal up chip damage, uplift for maybe a better SBA timing.
If it were me, I'd do potion, dodge, aegis, cascade and 1 quick cooldown, with both character sigils. If I don't need 4 oranges to cap, I run the awakening and save myself from RNG hell
Why do people go 1 Stamina, 1 Tyranny instead of just maxing one out?

Because stacking 2 stamina is just 1.70x, but stacking 1 stamina and 1 tyranny is 1.51 x 1.36 or 2.0536x. stacking more of the same is just additive, and usually caps out way sooner. Stamina for instance gets 1.51 off of 1 level V with sigil booster. Adding a second pushes that to 1.70, which is a comparative ~1.125x boost. It's also why people don't use crit damage, since you get 2x damage on crit with full mastery, so pushing it to 2.36x is really really small.
the numerical boost per level gets worse the higher you go, like stamina is i think 51% at lv15 and 70% or so at level 30
then on top of that stacking the same modifier is an additive boost while stacking a different one multiplies each other

Huh, so chromatic vision really is the best centrum farm. I'm always surprised when just a community can intuit optimal strategies long before hard numbers and testing. Same thing happened with using Eugen and Rackam as AI.
To be fair Eugen and Rackam as the best AIs just makes intuitive sense. AI can aim and time attacks perfectly but struggles with pathfinding and knowing when to commit to attacks, Eugen and Rackam are exemplified by its strengths and eliminate its weaknesses.
Yeah the unintuitive thing is just how good Less is More Zeta is. Spear of Arvess just breaks her AI so much
why is rackam best ai? i have always had subpar results with him compared to eugen, i think zeta wihout skills is better than him
Not best, but very solid. Eugen and no skill Zeta will out damage him, but rackam is still a good 3rd choice. Percival is the other good 3rd choice
Slag and Collateral both have insane burst, he's the best CPU when he uses them well but falls off if he doesn't. On average he's worth slotting, but I dislike his inconsistency and lack of utility personally.
So far my preferences for third CPU are Rosetta > Rackam > Percival
its far worse than that. Curios have 5 groups, and supp V+ is only in the #5 group. You are doing way WAY more quests to ever see one.

I have no idea what the frick is the point of ascension weapons. Mine is barely at rank 3 and I'm through most of proud (and I did every difficulty below's missions multiple times)
Skins. For most of the characters they match their aesthetic and/or are literally their actual weapons from the gacha, either from rolls or they actually use it in battle: characters are tied to weapons which they may or may not wield, like Narmaya doesn't use Venustas but rolling it gives you her Dark version. Meanwhile Percival has a super special version of himself that you obtain by rolling the Lord of Flames, and he actually wields it.
I think the ascension weapon awakening glow might also be different per weapon, because I saw a video of the Lord of Flames in particular and it had a really cool red glow that makes it look like it's on fire. I only have Narmaya's ascension weapon fully awakened, so I can't compare several weapons, but hers definitely isn't the same color.
Well I'm almost at damage cap already with the stunner so I might as well just use that until I get my terminus

So now that I'm playing with the big kids in Proud difficulty and have to worry about things like damage caps, is it worth actually using stuff like defensive sigils and drain? Or will bosses just continue to one-shit me no matter what? I'm mailing Siegfried, foe what it's worth.
Use potion hoarder, improved dodge, guts, and auto revive. Potion hoarder gives +2 revive potions, and guts/autorevive are free "don't die to shit" on a 2-6 minute timer. Improved dodge gives you 4 more dodges and gives iframes for the whole animation of each (perfect dodge timing is the same as always)
I'm already using all of those, I just need to upgrade them or get tier V versions. I've been having bad luck getting guts V.
Guts and autorevive don't REALLY need to be maxed out, since a lot of quests end up being less than the cooldown timer of the buff, so you'd only ever really be getting one usage either way.
drains an ok side roll IF you play a character that does lots of rapid attacks like Cag, Yoda, Narmaya etc
Sadly, it blows on Sieg because it caps at like 500 so you'll barely being healing from it
Drain also has a proc rate cap so it's not good on those characters either.

Sieg either builds one of two ways:

>Face tank heavy, with steel nerves, aegis, garrison.
Honestly siegfried really isn't worth the effort he takes in proud. Vane does the face tanking thing better while also doing better damage and having crazy good uptime on the bubble

So I've heard, but he's fun as hell and I feel powerful when I play him. The little spikes of dopamine I get from pulling off a full perfect combo is almost unrivalled, I tells ya.
Something like this would be probably what i'd do I think. You can change life on the line out for combo booster, and the secondary traits don't need to be in this specific order. The auto revives a flex spot and could be whatever utility you want. Aegis is just enough to make me not die to some hits, and something like autorevive/guts is good when learning fights, but falls off usefulness once you know when to dodge/block.
That seems like an extremely amount of grinding, so I'm likely never going to fully achieve it. I'll do my best, though. Thanks, anon.
I got that around 130-140 hours or so. You get a massive amount of transmarvel rolls once you start farming for terminus materials.

Use your Nvidia driver's Vsync to avoid stuttering when you drop from 60, it's way better than the in-game Vsync, I also have a GTX 1080 and that made the game perform much more consistently, also you will have to set Rendering and Lighting to "Standard", those are very demanding, you can set Textures to Ultra though.
I'm 10/18 on Terminus weapons. Don't have my main yet, but I have gotten two for my AI party. Only need one more to AFK farm with them.
Does Charlotta have low damage caps? I put my only damage cap (III) on her and she's still capped. Taking a while to do these quests still but way faster now that I found that sigil.
Her damage cap is average on her attacks and skills but she has an absurdly high cap on her right click finisher. Her optimal damage rotation is get noble stance->right click->dodge cancel->right click to chainsaw away boss HP.
Yeah I don't dodge cancel but that's pretty much what I do

anyway it looks I'm capped on her X and skill, her Y is still uncapped
You don't always need to dodge cancel if it's a huge opponent but anything shorter than a standing golem and you want to dodge cancel or you're wasting tons of damage. You can test it on a dummy.
Also you don't want to use her combo to get noble stance unless you have literally 0 skills on cooldown. Usually what I do is gap closer->finisher->holy ladder->finisher->fast slash skill (held)->finisher

I eventually understood I could throw orbs at the white dragon to remove his buffs, but I have no idea what the dark crucible and friends are for
Besides the typical dragon attack patterns, he spams slow AOEs and has a frickhuge laser that he sweeps twice. Bloodthirst is flying up into the air and creating a black hole in the center, which sucks you in strongly and then sends out a shockwave ring + dark balls, repeating several times, with the last wave having a bit of a stronger suction and an extra slow wave.
Chucking orbs at him will slow him, but it's not like white dragon where there's a "special" interaction (not that dispelling is special, but almost nobody has any in their taken skills), it just gives you a DPS window. He is sometimes immune to slow in overdrive, I've noticed, not sure what causes that.
Yeah I think his self buff makes him immune to all debuffs, so I guess that's why I never noticed the slow

You have invincibility on your combo finisher letting you cheat in a hit. You have incredible utility by giving the entire party 3 free hits of mirror image. I just can't play Lance after trying Yoda.

The ASI loader did the trick. I wasn't sure about messing with it cause it gave me a warning, but it worked. The command prompt thing also stays open now.

For active farming pick your poison of dubble griff or dubble gobb as they both net you 30ish L's a pop
2 griffin/2 evil eyes for manual with other players.
AFK of the any of the 3-monster quests on proud for the general purpose loot, including large crystals, coins, silver centrums, exceptional refinium and sigils.
The pillar defense quest on extreme for medium crystals if you're weak.
Ice skelly and ice lizzies for me. 10+ L crystals on top of snowflakes for transmutations when done in 10 minutes
