is that jumpspam higher dps in longer terms than building pets/committing to onslaught? atm I'm using umlauf, geegee slow, purge spirits and strafe, and just doing the "obvious" combo of minimum charge attacks to onslaught, and it seems to be doing fine, but if i should be jumping instead that'd be interesting, it did feel like it had potential
or is that more of a thing with a maxed terminus weapon where the cap and attack are high enough to make it work better
yes jumpspam is a lot stronger than her charged light and definitely stronger than holding onslaught. the terminus weapon doesn't matter, the relative strength is the same across all weapon levels as long as you are capping
the thing about ferry is that supplemental damage doesn't affect her pets whatsoever (not even skills like strafe or the pet 'whirlwind' on onslaught), so she prefers to do strong whip attacks and jumpspamming is the highest dps whip combo loop. but i want to be clear - even without supplemental attack, jumpspamming is still much higher dps than any of ferry's normal moves
the only bad thing about jumpspamming is that it's very annoying to time the inputs, but the dps is so much higher than it's worth doing it over braindead hold light/heavy attack even if you mistime once in a while
to clarify, you probably want to have at least some pets out to upkeep the debuffs. this is where pendel comes in - it's extremely fast (in the webm it's basically instant) and recharges very fast too. once you have ferry's unique sigils and are stacking enough cooldown reduction (without compromising damage cap ofc), you'll basically always have pendel when you need it. i recommend instantly dodge cancelling the entire skill the moment you press it, unless you really need to jump back, it does virtually no damage anyway and ferry usually wants to move forward not backwards
her charged light attacks are very weak so i do not recommend the build -> dump playstyle, you are sacrificing too much dps by spamming weak moves to generate pets. if you can get pets for free, such as from strafe, purge spirits, an imminent link attack, her sba etc., then you can still dump them, uncharged onslaught does decent damage with her unique sigil and the cooldown reduction for using it is nice

supplemental is just a percentage of the actual hit. if you've played the gacha, it's basically what players call 'echoes' or 'chasers'
i haven't bothered to calculate it, but it looks like around 15% for the sigil and a little weaker for hinrichten. and yes the sigil and hinrichten stack, the echo simply deals more damage, i don't recall the exact numbers but a 16k echo would get upgraded to like 28k(?) with hinrichten

by the way i've heard a rosetta main claim that the extra hit that supplemental inflicts actually procs cascade, effectively doubling cascade's effectiveness. i have no idea if this is actually true and i'm more inclined to believe this is just wishful thinking since the devs could have simply added a 0x cascade modifier to supplemental hits, but maybe someone could test it properly

cascade, purge spirits, pendel and hinrichten. you may switch hinrichten to benediction if you're having trouble with randoms
ferry is a little bit finicky, you can frick up easily
her best dps loop is the showcased jumpspam, which is x+a into y. this generates no pets
the main ways to get pets are strafe, purge spirits, link attacks and pendel. all give 3 except pendel which gives 2
do not use her charged light attack to generate pets for the sole purpose of dumping them. it is very weak. if you need 3 pets for hinrichten and pendel only gave you 2, you can do it to get the last one. don't do the full charge, just release immediately after she starts charging to get the pet asap. avoid the build -> dump pets playstyle
you may dump pets after purge spirits or before an imminent link attack. you can squeeze in a pet dump if you do it just as link attack pops up, if you don't have time, just take the link attack
DO NOT dump pets immediately when you cast strafe. this is because the pets are the ones executing the skill and you will instantly cancel and waste it by commanding them to do something else. instead, just jumpspam while you wait for the big explosion at the end of the skill
in the same vein, be very careful with link time. if link time is about to happen, hold strafe. this is because doing a link attack also cancels strafe. if you fricked up and used strafe just as you need to do a link attack for link time, just get into link time, it's better to waste strafe than waste link meter
use pendel to keep 2 pets out minimum at all times. i suggest dodge cancelling the skill instantly because you get the 2 pets as soon as you press the skill and moving backwards is usually not desirable for ferry
improved dodge is essential for ferry as she needs to be in melee range but has no gapcloser. it is also just a great defensive trait in general
you will need both her unique sigil traits. cascade and quick cooldown are also very useful
more stuff:
hinrichten doesn't affect any pet attacks including strafe and pet dump. you can use strafe -> hinrichten without issue
you can skip the third pet for hinrichten if you don't need it. it gives you invincible, which is usually very handy because you can sit there spamming your burst and the boss can't touch you, but you don't need it if you're wailing on proto baha's fallen ass
sba gives you back 3 pets. it's also ass cancer because it teleports ferry very far away from the boss. this is why you want improved dodge so you can just jump back to the boss
just jumpspam, dump pets when your pet refills come up, use pendel otherwise to keep 2 pets by your side and don't frick up strafe. that's about it

It's a fine game but unlocking Proud after you beat main story is a little annoying and even boring if you aren't online.
Most of the fun comes from coop.
Definitely pirate it then, end game with an AI party is theoretically possible but you'll be grinding like crazy. The story is short, maybe 12 hours, and after that you'll just be doing boss fights and shit.

I see lots of them at Proud. Hard to play though, you need more than two braincells to preplace roses where bosses are going to be. She can knock out static bosses during Overdrive that way. Learn how to use lock on properly. Attack buff is useless on Proud, differentiate between Def and HP regen based on the group needs. The party members don't need to be in the circle for the buffs to activate on them so for example switch to Def when a boss starts doing something cancer.

I've started using her some after getting her Terminus weapon and she's just really boring. It's hard to tell how much damage she is actually doing because she's so plant focused and she has a single slow combo. I could see her being fun with really high cooldown reduction so she could keep popping her plants and easily repositioning them
there is transmarvel in proud but it doesn't use vouchers, you get 1 roll every ten lv3 transmutations
feel free to blow all your vouchers in maniac because the game still keeps track of how many transmarvel rolls you've stocked up even before you unlock it

I'm 6/8 out of Rolan jobs and my main is only level 77, every extreme mission I start, everyone is lvl 100 but me, I'm usually mvp and deal the most dmg still, but if I get hit I'm being one shot

doing a full combo into full charge is max arts really quick, dont forget your charge has guard frames, otehr than that, the basic square triangle triangle always builds a stack and is quick for jumpy enemies

Proud mode feels rushed, you go from super difficult versa, to some easy quests right into ball busting quests, then back to kinda easy quests for the final two.
They really should have made proud versions of every boss as well so farming maniac material isn't so awful

Proto bahamut is mainly just a dps check, sure if you fail mechanics you get fricked super hard especially if people don't shoot the yellow orbs which perma fricks the raid, but so long as your team have some brain cells and know about damage cap sigils then it's pretty easy
If you don't shoot down all 4 within 5~ seconds he permanently causes all future dps checks to require like double the damage in order to clear, which likely means your team is getting wiped every single time he does one unless everyone is giga geared.
Realistically this shouldn't happen because people should always be near the cannons if bahamut is flying around, but morons will somehow find a way to frick it up still.

He means the ordering of quest is ass backwards and rated weird. Goblin Knight + Griffin is not somehow harder then Versa, but they rank it as the hardest quest in order in some dumb ass reasoning.
Also anyone got a better gameplan for Cag's burst damage or is this more or less it?
How much more as I use Alexandria for the quick charge buff, but sounds like that's an overall DPS loss here?

Main crew is sort of stagnant despite getting all the main story content. Side characters with multiple major events like Zeta/ Vaseraga and Lancelot/ Vane/ Percy/ Seigfried get a lot more stuff.

Yes, but since it's a gacha it really depends on the character how far they decide to take developments. Some characters practically stand still and some become demigods.

I think I've got the basics down now, but to be able to consistently pull off her combos to get butterflies is pretty hard, since you only get 1 dodge before the chain resets, so you basically need to perfect dodge every attack. She also don't get any healing skills, or defensive or invincibility options.
I'm not even noticing any substantially higher dps with her compared to gran, but admittedly he's like 4 lvls higher.

Both of Narm's unique sigils are extremely powerful to her butterfly usage
She does have a defensive self-buff, and you can get stout heart to unga bunga through stuff that won't kill you
I've definitely seen some Narm players take MVP and without any support, presumably it's coming from big dick deeps, but I dunno what the trick is.
That aside, holy shit, this Ferry jump combo is something else. Not only do you get more damage and better use out of Cascade, you also get a frickton of SBA gauge to the point you can just use it to stun/donate when everybody else is at like 50. Shit's wack. I'm consistently taking MVP farming out my ascension weapon, it'll be interesting to see what it's like when that's done and I swap to it off the weakpoint weapon I've been using.

Im no expert, sure I'm not playing her well but she has the ability to tank through shit with stout heart. Also some interesting stuff is you can dodge and get invincibility with the stance shange enders so if youre about to hit it you can keep going and tank through attacks. Also if you link attack you can also go straight in to a stance change ender so that's nice too. My only worry is what skills. I feel I need a skill to give me stout heart and the counter slow is great utility and helps keep me on the opponent at least for a bit, leaving me with 2 damage skills, but I'm worried I'm making more butterflies than I can spend them, which is weird considering I don't even have her unique sigils yet which just means she has more to use

2X, 2Y is honestly good on the dragons/big bodies you can get under or really close towards as it'll multihit for big damage, also deals with chaff doing survival/defense missions easy. In retrospect, the damage off of the saws in 3X, 2Y feels hyper lackluster even on human bosses doing break, and 4X, 2Y legit just feels too slow for anything. It also doesn't help that a fully charged collapse is an aoe bomb in and of itself that multihits.
The saws have terrible tracking and miss most of the time unless you're hugging the boss. I expected them to do the most single target DPS considering how slow they come out.
There's a while where it's still braindead after the tutorial, but Extreme through Proud are pretty definitely brain-activated gameplay. Look forward to wrangling morons through Bahamut, ornstein and small, and dragons especially.

just finished that fight and there's so much bs happening on screen and clips of dmg that could lead into a combo. I been playing sieg but my rosetta was also maxed out and I swapped to her for that fight.
I kept up defense buff at all times and brought her team heal for repositioning roses and keeping everyone healed through all the chip damage that accumulates. she's really good at making your team tanky and sustained and her roses are always doing damage while you're dodging the millions of things happening. really made me appreciate her that I surprised that she's slept on.
Oh I still don't have the baha weapon yet. Getting good sigils seems it's going to be a huge pain in the ass compared to slapping baha around, with randoms it's like, 9mins on average. but sigils is going to be way harder with all the damn bloat in the gachas
Speaking of, is there a specific way to get curios? Could it be optimal to farm maniac dragons or something that gives them but can be bodied in 30s by a competent party, or do you actually get more from harder quests? I haven't actually been paying attention to where they're dropping.

Been playing with a friend who goes with vas, and i play sieg. We deal about the same damage in the same time, the time it takes him one charged attack is the same time i got for a sieg combo, the damage diference aint all that big, although he deals slightly more in general

So apparently there's a thing called prismatic slime that can spawn and give you 5 of those crystals that instantly level up your sigils to lvl 15.

The be as vague as possible to avoid spoilers, the story will lead you to it as there's still some unfinished business, I'm only at the "beginning" of it so I'm not sure if it's like that until the very last difficulties but don't worry, they won't just boot you to main menu after killing the final boss and then expect you start playing without any guidance or whatever.

I'm surprised at how few Io's I've seen at Maniac and higher. Definitely not the rarest, that's Ghanda, Eugen and Yoda but still. And the few I see are almost always shitters. I have no idea if I'm "optimal" with my Io play but I almost always get MVP and I certainly don't eat dirt often. Just wish the matchmaking wasn't so ass. Also Siero needs to give me my fricking Io sigil+ already, I want the faster Stargazer cast.
Just remember you don't lose your charge progress when you dodge/link. I think a lot of players seem to think evading attacks will kill their charge build up but if you play it right it wont (Flowery Seven is an exception). You still have to hold the basic attack button to not lose charge on normals but Stargazer has like a 3s grace window before you have to resume it (you can immediately dodge to reset the grace window if you have to) if you have maxed her offensive masteries. You also have near infinite range on basic attack, Stargazer, Lightning and Flowery Seven but do stay in range for link attacks because it's free damage and gives you iframes, and you should always contribute towards link time buildup anyway.
Also not an Io exclusive tip is that if you are uncertain on timing a dodge, hold block before you dodge. You can block most attacks at least once without being guard broken and it can save you from so much shit.
Yes and no. Competence matters more but element advantage gives you higher damage cap (and damage bonus) so things are certainly faster if you combine competence with element. Don't think there's disadvantage tho (no penalty for using wind vs. fire for example) which is good because otherwise light and dark characters would just be good everywhere while other elements wouldn't.
I run her as a tank myself with Transient, Apex of Nothingness, Utter Devotion, and Dance of Blue Petals, worked well enough up to Proud but now I'm getting my shit pushed in but that just might be a skill issue

Buying this, is the Special Edition even worth? sword you get seems pretty outpaced super fast and the MSP seems like a lot til you see quests giving 700+
Still not worth it. Special edition gives you a sword that makes the early game easier and some stuff to start you off. By the time you finish the story, you won’t need any of it
Not really, physical at least comes in a fancy box and has a physical art book and mini soundtrack. The sword and MSP are just easy start tools, though if you like the sword visually it can be used as a glamour.
Is there a way to disable this kind of auto targetting? The camera is pretty zoomed in and against multiple enemies I can't see shit, my character starts hitting random enemies and I can't see if anyone is about to attack me
No reason to get other edition unless you want the colors. Hell you could go brain off easy mode and turn the full assist on and just hold the analog stick and watch the movie.

I like the idea of quick quests but the implementation sucks.
Transmute can give you the sigil with another skill or one that has both her sigil skills in one but it's really rare. I have 5 characters dual sigils and they are all for characters I don't use. Meanwhile I haven't seen a single Io sigil even with either of her skills so I bought the stargazer cap sigil because it's massive, rng a b***h.

is that jumpspam higher dps in longer terms than building pets/committing to onslaught? atm I'm using umlauf, geegee slow, purge spirits and strafe, and just doing the "obvious" combo of minimum charge attacks to onslaught, and it seems to be doing fine, but if i should be jumping instead that'd be interesting, it did feel like it had potential
or is that more of a thing with a maxed terminus weapon where the cap and attack are high enough to make it work better
yes jumpspam is a lot stronger than her charged light and definitely stronger than holding onslaught. the terminus weapon doesn't matter, the relative strength is the same across all weapon levels as long as you are capping
the thing about ferry is that supplemental damage doesn't affect her pets whatsoever (not even skills like strafe or the pet 'whirlwind' on onslaught), so she prefers to do strong whip attacks and jumpspamming is the highest dps whip combo loop. but i want to be clear - even without supplemental attack, jumpspamming is still much higher dps than any of ferry's normal moves
the only bad thing about jumpspamming is that it's very annoying to time the inputs, but the dps is so much higher than it's worth doing it over braindead hold light/heavy attack even if you mistime once in a while
to clarify, you probably want to have at least some pets out to upkeep the debuffs. this is where pendel comes in - it's extremely fast (in the webm it's basically instant) and recharges very fast too. once you have ferry's unique sigils and are stacking enough cooldown reduction (without compromising damage cap ofc), you'll basically always have pendel when you need it. i recommend instantly dodge cancelling the entire skill the moment you press it, unless you really need to jump back, it does virtually no damage anyway and ferry usually wants to move forward not backwards
her charged light attacks are very weak so i do not recommend the build -> dump playstyle, you are sacrificing too much dps by spamming weak moves to generate pets. if you can get pets for free, such as from strafe, purge spirits, an imminent link attack, her sba etc., then you can still dump them, uncharged onslaught does decent damage with her unique sigil and the cooldown reduction for using it is nice

supplemental is just a percentage of the actual hit. if you've played the gacha, it's basically what players call 'echoes' or 'chasers'
i haven't bothered to calculate it, but it looks like around 15% for the sigil and a little weaker for hinrichten. and yes the sigil and hinrichten stack, the echo simply deals more damage, i don't recall the exact numbers but a 16k echo would get upgraded to like 28k(?) with hinrichten
by the way i've heard a rosetta main claim that the extra hit that supplemental inflicts actually procs cascade, effectively doubling cascade's effectiveness. i have no idea if this is actually true and i'm more inclined to believe this is just wishful thinking since the devs could have simply added a 0x cascade modifier to supplemental hits, but maybe someone could test it properly
Echoes and hit count is a big deal in the gacha, so they probably are in Relink as well.

What skills do you normally run on Ferry? Just got her Proto Baha weapon. Also how do I even play her? Just get your 3 pets out and use the heavy attack afterwards?
cascade, purge spirits, pendel and hinrichten. you may switch hinrichten to benediction if you're having trouble with randoms
ferry is a little bit finicky, you can frick up easily
her best dps loop is the showcased jumpspam, which is x+a into y. this generates no pets
the main ways to get pets are strafe, purge spirits, link attacks and pendel. all give 3 except pendel which gives 2
do not use her charged light attack to generate pets for the sole purpose of dumping them. it is very weak. if you need 3 pets for hinrichten and pendel only gave you 2, you can do it to get the last one. don't do the full charge, just release immediately after she starts charging to get the pet asap. avoid the build -> dump pets playstyle
you may dump pets after purge spirits or before an imminent link attack. you can squeeze in a pet dump if you do it just as link attack pops up, if you don't have time, just take the link attack
DO NOT dump pets immediately when you cast strafe. this is because the pets are the ones executing the skill and you will instantly cancel and waste it by commanding them to do something else. instead, just jumpspam while you wait for the big explosion at the end of the skill
in the same vein, be very careful with link time. if link time is about to happen, hold strafe. this is because doing a link attack also cancels strafe. if you fricked up and used strafe just as you need to do a link attack for link time, just get into link time, it's better to waste strafe than waste link meter
use pendel to keep 2 pets out minimum at all times. i suggest dodge cancelling the skill instantly because you get the 2 pets as soon as you press the skill and moving backwards is usually not desirable for ferry
improved dodge is essential for ferry as she needs to be in melee range but has no gapcloser. it is also just a great defensive trait in general
you will need both her unique sigil traits. cascade and quick cooldown are also very useful
more stuff:
hinrichten doesn't affect any pet attacks including strafe and pet dump. you can use strafe -> hinrichten without issue
you can skip the third pet for hinrichten if you don't need it. it gives you invincible, which is usually very handy because you can sit there spamming your burst and the boss can't touch you, but you don't need it if you're wailing on proto baha's fallen ass
sba gives you back 3 pets. it's also ass cancer because it teleports ferry very far away from the boss. this is why you want improved dodge so you can just jump back to the boss
just jumpspam, dump pets when your pet refills come up, use pendel otherwise to keep 2 pets by your side and don't frick up strafe. that's about it

I see lots of them at Proud. Hard to play though, you need more than two braincells to preplace roses where bosses are going to be. She can knock out static bosses during Overdrive that way. Learn how to use lock on properly. Attack buff is useless on Proud, differentiate between Def and HP regen based on the group needs. The party members don't need to be in the circle for the buffs to activate on them so for example switch to Def when a boss starts doing something cancer.

I've started using her some after getting her Terminus weapon and she's just really boring. It's hard to tell how much damage she is actually doing because she's so plant focused and she has a single slow combo. I could see her being fun with really high cooldown reduction so she could keep popping her plants and easily repositioning them

Proud mode feels rushed, you go from super difficult versa, to some easy quests right into ball busting quests, then back to kinda easy quests for the final two.
They really should have made proud versions of every boss as well so farming maniac material isn't so awful

Proto bahamut is mainly just a dps check, sure if you fail mechanics you get fricked super hard especially if people don't shoot the yellow orbs which perma fricks the raid, but so long as your team have some brain cells and know about damage cap sigils then it's pretty easy

If you don't shoot down all 4 within 5~ seconds he permanently causes all future dps checks to require like double the damage in order to clear, which likely means your team is getting wiped every single time he does one unless everyone is giga geared.
Realistically this shouldn't happen because people should always be near the cannons if bahamut is flying around, but morons will somehow find a way to frick it up still.
Don't forget the DMG spike from the pride dragons to any duo dragon quest and above.
I've already seen a preview of the duo generals boss and I know that's going to stonewall me for a while since for some reason seeing gallanza fight also makes me go unga bunga but what do you mean the last two are easy? With max cooldown reduction on hit on charlotte, combined with her unique sigil, how fast do you get your abilities back up?
I'm still fairly early game (ch6), but it seems to me narmaya is extremely hard to play?
I think I've got the basics down now, but to be able to consistently pull off her combos to get butterflies is pretty hard, since you only get 1 dodge before the chain resets, so you basically need to perfect dodge every attack. She also don't get any healing skills, or defensive or invincibility options.
I'm not even noticing any substantially higher dps with her compared to gran, but admittedly he's like 4 lvls higher.
Have I missed a trick or is she really just coomer bait and I've fallen for it?
She's not difficult you're just slow.
Both of Narm's unique sigils are extremely powerful to her butterfly usage
She does have a defensive self-buff, and you can get stout heart to unga bunga through stuff that won't kill you
I've definitely seen some Narm players take MVP and without any support, presumably it's coming from big dick deeps, but I dunno what the trick is.
That aside, holy shit, this Ferry jump combo is something else. Not only do you get more damage and better use out of Cascade, you also get a frickton of SBA gauge to the point you can just use it to stun/donate when everybody else is at like 50. Shit's wack. I'm consistently taking MVP farming out my ascension weapon, it'll be interesting to see what it's like when that's done and I swap to it off the weakpoint weapon I've been using.
Sound like late game narm may be better then, right now she isn't doing much for me.

Im no expert, sure I'm not playing her well but she has the ability to tank through shit with stout heart. Also some interesting stuff is you can dodge and get invincibility with the stance shange enders so if youre about to hit it you can keep going and tank through attacks. Also if you link attack you can also go straight in to a stance change ender so that's nice too. My only worry is what skills. I feel I need a skill to give me stout heart and the counter slow is great utility and helps keep me on the opponent at least for a bit, leaving me with 2 damage skills, but I'm worried I'm making more butterflies than I can spend them, which is weird considering I don't even have her unique sigils yet which just means she has more to use

2X, 2Y is honestly good on the dragons/big bodies you can get under or really close towards as it'll multihit for big damage, also deals with chaff doing survival/defense missions easy. In retrospect, the damage off of the saws in 3X, 2Y feels hyper lackluster even on human bosses doing break, and 4X, 2Y legit just feels too slow for anything. It also doesn't help that a fully charged collapse is an aoe bomb in and of itself that multihits.
The saws have terrible tracking and miss most of the time unless you're hugging the boss. I expected them to do the most single target DPS considering how slow they come out.

I kept up defense buff at all times and brought her team heal for repositioning roses and keeping everyone healed through all the chip damage that accumulates. she's really good at making your team tanky and sustained and her roses are always doing damage while you're dodging the millions of things happening. really made me appreciate her that I surprised that she's slept on.

Been playing with a friend who goes with vas, and i play sieg. We deal about the same damage in the same time, the time it takes him one charged attack is the same time i got for a sieg combo, the damage diference aint all that big, although he deals slightly more in general

You can blast through very hard and extreme in like an hour, by only doing marked quests.
I'm surprised at how few Io's I've seen at Maniac and higher. Definitely not the rarest, that's Ghanda, Eugen and Yoda but still. And the few I see are almost always shitters. I have no idea if I'm "optimal" with my Io play but I almost always get MVP and I certainly don't eat dirt often. Just wish the matchmaking wasn't so ass. Also Siero needs to give me my fricking Io sigil+ already, I want the faster Stargazer cast.

Just remember you don't lose your charge progress when you dodge/link. I think a lot of players seem to think evading attacks will kill their charge build up but if you play it right it wont (Flowery Seven is an exception). You still have to hold the basic attack button to not lose charge on normals but Stargazer has like a 3s grace window before you have to resume it (you can immediately dodge to reset the grace window if you have to) if you have maxed her offensive masteries. You also have near infinite range on basic attack, Stargazer, Lightning and Flowery Seven but do stay in range for link attacks because it's free damage and gives you iframes, and you should always contribute towards link time buildup anyway.
Also not an Io exclusive tip is that if you are uncertain on timing a dodge, hold block before you dodge. You can block most attacks at least once without being guard broken and it can save you from so much shit.

Yes and no. Competence matters more but element advantage gives you higher damage cap (and damage bonus) so things are certainly faster if you combine competence with element. Don't think there's disadvantage tho (no penalty for using wind vs. fire for example) which is good because otherwise light and dark characters would just be good everywhere while other elements wouldn't.

Not really, physical at least comes in a fancy box and has a physical art book and mini soundtrack. The sword and MSP are just easy start tools, though if you like the sword visually it can be used as a glamour.

Supplementary damage is good on everyone. I use it on my Vaseraga and I love it when it procs off my full charged attacks.

I like the idea of quick quests but the implementation sucks.
Character rebalance when? Tried Eugen but he feels really fricking weak compared to other characters.
Should I get this or does it drop from curios/transmute?
There are two uniques per character and a + combined version can be dropped from curios/transmute
Transmute can give you the sigil with another skill or one that has both her sigil skills in one but it's really rare. I have 5 characters dual sigils and they are all for characters I don't use. Meanwhile I haven't seen a single Io sigil even with either of her skills so I bought the stargazer cap sigil because it's massive, rng a b***h.
