Basically some people spent a bunch of money on a character(monke), didnt get her and then took their rolling statistics and found out the draw rate for other featured characters on the same banner had higher draw rates than monke(it should be equal amongst the featured banner characters). Lots of people complain and the news enters mainstream. Cygames caves in and apologizes, im not sure if actual laws were put into place but this incident basically started companies putting in fairer systems to not frick over the userbase.

I was debating trying it with Sieg but I didn't have his weapon to try at the time of, and having the Terminus for sure makes up for the Damage Cap lack you'll have and helps push your damage high enough so even in Overdrive you're still doing full effective damage. The tank build for sure falls off when somethings in overdrive and just goes off screen/can't be hit as that's where most of your real damage for the fight comes into play unlike everyone else.

Per character. Don't level them if they don't have potion master, cascade, guts, auto-revive, quick cooldown, improved dodge, or aegis.
You theoretically want:
Linked together x2
Tyranny (seems like shitty option compared to combo booster or stamina or others)
Damage Cap x4
Crit rate
War Elemental (doesn't have a + version)
Supplementary Damage x3 (actually impossible)
Stout Heart
Char specific sigil x2
with 2 of the above on the character specific sigils.
Then you need all the quality of life defensives as secondaries on them.
A lot of the character specific ones seem like garbage and AI doesn't use potion master.

~17-18k power level, the fight isn't even that hard - mechanic wise pyet-a, black/white dragons and double dragons are harder. If you're playing co-op you're very likely to just get carried at this stage
I would say though just keep in mind there is a dps check at the last 15% and if you aren't that strong you will need sbas/time link to finish it off.

Tbh the game tries to waste your time at every opportunity. Upgrading anything takes forever. Quests are too long. Resources are scarce. RNG is rooted in every system.

you can skip every single cutscene and you dont miss anything, the game even expects you to skip everything and gives you a mini text summary of what the cutscene is when u go to skip it.
combat is the only reason to play this game and its fun. the biggest appeal for me was the "raid boss" co-op vibe since not a lot of games do that.

every character is good, the only controversy on that is maybe the buff monk punching guy is annoying to play but even then im sure theres people that like him. u have to play through the story solo which will take about 6-10 hours depending on how much u wanna rush it, after that is all co-op which is a majority of the game.

I might be moronic but I am trying out this. My goal is to make it so everything is a perfect dodge and then I get like 4-5 seconds of invulnerability. I might not need the aegis, but it has stamina attached. I don't have any Supplemental Damage sigils yet, somehow.
Because my ATK is lowered by Flight over Fight I am making sure I hit damage cap, but it may not be necessary with my unique sigil. I also need something with more potions.
It's good on yoda where his basics can easily reach damage cap but combo finishers might not, it also works on his skills where he hits multiple times whereas combo finisher does not

The difficulty of a character is governed by how effective and accessible their defensive utilities are, not by how many buttons you press to DPS an immobile enemy. You can tell when someone is 85 IQ and bad at the game simply by how they describe a character and their playstyle. He is correct that she becomes easy to play when you acquire her unique sigil that gives her a whole 5 seconds of invulnerability from procuring a guard point block on her noble strategy move, so in effect he found his way to the water even if he slipped and tumbled to find it.
Bought the game a few hours ago, unfortunately I had to refund it on Steam because I can't get 60 FPS at 1440p on my PC. I don't want to play in 1080p either, so I'm refunding it and opting to buy it on PS5.
It's so strange that you need such a strong PC to run a game like this, but it was my fault for not researching it. I'm not sure if the game is poorly optimized or what, but most people haven't had technical issues, so I guess my rig just isn't strong enough. I hope it runs decent on FPS, at least a consistent 60 FPS. I was only getting 40-45 FPS in combat and in towns. I got to Folca and couldn't get above 42 FPS, and some cutscenes dipped to 30 FPS. It was pretty bad.
I also want to frick Io, Lydia, and the flying dragon thingy.

2060 Super, but it can run other games just fine at 60 FPS on 1440p, but apparently not this one.
You clearly need at least a 3070 or above to run this at 120 1440p on ultra. If I wasn't so picky I'd just run it at 1080p but I'd rather not, it ran fine on 1080p but it made the game look "fuzzy" and blurry to me.
I tested everything, and no it was on ultra settings but TO ME it looked blurry and fuzzy at 1080p on ultra settings. It was the only way I could hit 60 FPS on PC was to run it at 1080p, and I just didn't like the way it looked.
I play on PS5 on a 1080p tv, looks great and runs fine. I think performance mode in the game runs at 1080p anyways to target constant 60fps.
Well, I was planning to get it on PS5 and play it on that, but kind of a shame it's locked to 1080p, but it's one of those "You either get 60 FPS and lower resolution, or higher resolution and lower FPS." I guess I'd rather have the 60 FPS. It does make sense it has to drop quality to target higher FPS, that's basically what performance mode does anyway. You're sacrificing resolution for FPS, and most don't usually care about quality mode anyway.
It just looked fuzzy and blurry to me at 1080p on PC.

Percy players are you able to hit damage cap on skills consistently without any buffs or debuffs? I can't seem to find a consistent sigil build since two slots are taken up from quick charge. Pic related I have 2 slots free with this build that will be used up by quick charge.

What's the go to farm method at the moment to get the weapon upgrade crystals? Right now I am afk farming Tayu'itar mk II on maniac, it gives 5-9 crystals per kill in addition to the useful materials he drops, my cpu companions shit on him in 2-3 minutes.

I pretty much only ran the counter when I needed the slow + buff remove.

You theoretically want:

Tyranny (seems like shitty option compared to combo booster or stamina or others)

War Elemental (doesn't have a + version)
Supplementary Damage x3 (actually impossible)
Stout Heart
Char specific sigil x2
with 2 of the above on the character specific sigils.
Then you need all the quality of life defensives as secondaries on them.
A lot of the character specific ones seem like garbage and AI doesn't use potion master.

I would say though just keep in mind there is a dps check at the last 15% and if you aren't that strong you will need sbas/time link to finish it off.
Just clear the Proud quests in order, the quests preceding Proto Bahamut are unironically harder

Read your damn mastery tree, almost every character has some form of built-in damage mitigation that you can play around.
The most obvious example is Stout Heart activating during certain attacks. Narmaya is a popular character so I'll use her as an example; she gets a shitload of damage mitigation during her combo finishers/charge attack, enough that she can reliably unga through anything that isn't a giant nuke.
Press LB once in a while, block is weird in that it's straight trash and staggers you constantly early game but blocks pretty much everything late game

you can skip every single cutscene and you dont miss anything, the game even expects you to skip everything and gives you a mini text summary of what the cutscene is when u go to skip it.

It's good on yoda where his basics can easily reach damage cap but combo finishers might not, it also works on his skills where he hits multiple times whereas combo finisher does not

The difficulty of a character is governed by how effective and accessible their defensive utilities are, not by how many buttons you press to DPS an immobile enemy. You can tell when someone is 85 IQ and bad at the game simply by how they describe a character and their playstyle. He is correct that she becomes easy to play when you acquire her unique sigil that gives her a whole 5 seconds of invulnerability from procuring a guard point block on her noble strategy move, so in effect he found his way to the water even if he slipped and tumbled to find it.

Bought the game a few hours ago, unfortunately I had to refund it on Steam because I can't get 60 FPS at 1440p on my PC. I don't want to play in 1080p either, so I'm refunding it and opting to buy it on PS5.
It's so strange that you need such a strong PC to run a game like this, but it was my fault for not researching it. I'm not sure if the game is poorly optimized or what, but most people haven't had technical issues, so I guess my rig just isn't strong enough. I hope it runs decent on FPS, at least a consistent 60 FPS. I was only getting 40-45 FPS in combat and in towns. I got to Folca and couldn't get above 42 FPS, and some cutscenes dipped to 30 FPS. It was pretty bad.
I also want to frick Io, Lydia, and the flying dragon thingy.
They said they're going to address the performance issues in a later patch, but who knows when that will drop.

You clearly need at least a 3070 or above to run this at 120 1440p on ultra. If I wasn't so picky I'd just run it at 1080p but I'd rather not, it ran fine on 1080p but it made the game look "fuzzy" and blurry to me.

I tested everything, and no it was on ultra settings but TO ME it looked blurry and fuzzy at 1080p on ultra settings. It was the only way I could hit 60 FPS on PC was to run it at 1080p, and I just didn't like the way it looked.
Well, I was planning to get it on PS5 and play it on that, but kind of a shame it's locked to 1080p, but it's one of those "You either get 60 FPS and lower resolution, or higher resolution and lower FPS." I guess I'd rather have the 60 FPS. It does make sense it has to drop quality to target higher FPS, that's basically what performance mode does anyway. You're sacrificing resolution for FPS, and most don't usually care about quality mode anyway.

What's the go to farm method at the moment to get the weapon upgrade crystals? Right now I am afk farming Tayu'itar mk II on maniac, it gives 5-9 crystals per kill in addition to the useful materials he drops, my cpu companions shit on him in 2-3 minutes.

One of the best ARPGs I've ever played, just wish it had more content and also a way to make fights harders, at this point I just melt most bosses. Only way I know of doing it is just unequiping every character. Maybe something like the Mythic+ system in wow.

This is dumb, they are literally just ordered on the sigil like they are listed. So attack traits at the top can have any of the secondaries but anything else can't have attack traits.
Exception is the character specific sigils.

It just guarantees it, you can still get it from mission rewards but the chance is random.
it doesn't guarantee it. even if you break the head, most of the time it's just going to give you a fricking shining orb for the effort

It's stupid and will give you -any- quest you've cleared at least once and if someone's hosting a lobby (selectively has a lobby outright) and is set to Open for matchmaking.
It makes you a temp lobby so you'll be the host for matchmaking. Nothing more.

Extra damage on top of your damage ignoring the damage cap. It's the good sort of damage.
Normal attacks and Skills have to chance, up to 100% depending on the level of the sigil , of doing a second instance of damage valued on 20%.
Io drops a 2m Stargaze? she'll get a second second hit worth 400k. Also supposedly triggers cascade but i dont have a way of properly testing it.

I play as Rakam and I also have an AI Eugen to help while I powerlevel other 2 characters.

It's legit the side goal of "Don't go into critical more then 5 times" challenge that gives you Destrudo. The other two are for the other challenges respectively.
