Yeah it's not capped. I ran with Stamina 16 instead of Glass Cannon 8 but had lower score with capped Stargazers. I wonder if the cap will be further or closer if Glass Cannon is level 16 instead since it also buffs your attack.

On Proto Bahamut's first meteor:
30291 base.
21203 with Stout Heart on (22718 on a character that did not have the 5% DR when Stout Heart is active on the defense tree)
18022 with Stout + Steel Nerves (19310 on the character that did not have the 5% DR when Stout Heart is active on the defense tree)
Proto Bahamut's 18022 damage (With the 30% total DR with Stout Heart and Steel Nerves and the 5% from the defense tree) will be cut to 9011 damage with a 50% damage cut.
If you have another 70% def buff from Siegfried, that is cut to 9011*0.3 = 2703.
Siegfried has 2 separate defense buffs, the 70% and 30%. When the 70% is on, the 30% does not work.
However, you can put on Stronghold sigil(s) which are again, 30% defence at the level 30 trait, and yet again, another separate damage reduction multiplier. So the 2703*0.7 = 1892.
Also I noticed percival gains a invisbile stout heart when charging even if you don't get any icon or pop up, the support skill doesn't mention stout heart buff itself but it gives you the DR from stout heart
I'm rocking a lot of tankiness on my vaseraga it's really nice that he has stout heart on demand, I do love to use immortality+substitute to protect my teammates. Although most players seem to not notice that they can go ape since they are immune to damage. The fully charged counter out of that substitute looks sick too.
I haven't even maxed him out yet, but I did try another take with higher HP/less damage. You're better off though pushing damage on overdrive to still be credit and effective. Otherwise your damage output is so much smaller, but on fights where shit's just going on and trying to keep track/dodge/block stuff is just difficult, it's a easy way to trivialize those fights, yet then you see why a fight might have a 15min defeat challenge if you've got an entire party like that.

30k-40k is "safe" but it's much more important for you to have sources of mitigation and knowing when to use them
if your attacks have armor on them, then you can easily tank your way through shit while attacking.

Only issue is you're hitting for like 20k per hit and then overdrive kicks in and you're dealing 2k instead of still keeping your full damage output. You 100% can go into the "I'll never die" mode, but then you're dealing peanuts for damage. There's for sure a sweet spot that's gotta be found, and I feel like minmaxing so you can keep cap damage doing overdrive/bloodthrust is the key.

I'm pretty sure the all of 2 extra damage doing bloodthurst is how it's trying to reduce my damage but also trying to account for damage cut and it's not 1:1 as a result, but this even just says I deal more damage doing a bosses enrage phase then without.

i have a 70% atk up and i literally do the exact same number with or without the buff with the number flashing white and gold in overdrive, but the number is lower than when not in overdrive. it's 100% a damage cut

The unlockable characters each having their own dialogue in the main questline is a nice touch even if it's kind of sparse, I'm surprised they bothered.

almost every proud boss drops but you can farm for crafting them as well. I farm the 2 nazerboju quest a bunch for weapon stones and the 2 griffin quest and the drops from those 2 can make silver centrum.
or you can farm the quest with the 3 elemental diles and those can craft one as well.

They nailed the endgame, I can safely say that you can get about 80+ hours of this game without feeling the grind, it's only when you try to actually minmax your main after reaching the very last boss that you actually begin to feel the grind

Is the endgame just boss missions? Or can you also play the other types to change up a bit? Fighting bosses is always fun, but sometimes changing it a bit it's good for longevity. Different mission types are so far my best feature in this game.

I can't believe someone didn't tell you the real mvp, buying exceptional refinium for terminus awakenings. They're 30 a pop and well worth it. It's to the point I farm coins on the airship fleet mission insead of jamming like say fire dragon proud. No chance of failure, roughly 3 refinium worth of coins every run versus 2 from fire dragon. The only real cons is the mission is a 4 minute survive, whereas if you get a really good group you can get 1:30 for fire dragon meaning the math for time investment leans just a little to the dragon but again that requires a good group.
Other con is it wears out my thumb because I just bring my same eugen slime setup into it and mash square accidentally pubbed one a bit ago and I did 4m of the 5m honors done.
It's elite, you can set it to autobattle, just make sure you walk up to the top each time. Eugen is kind of annoying to have as leader for that since he can hop off wherever.
Fast learner applies to Characters that are not in your party, so if you bought them and arent using them, might as well pop it on them for faster passive levels.
Also, Rupie tycoon and mastery bonus applies to the whole offline party, and it stacks.

The red things are challenges you don't need to do. They aren't particularly rewarding either. You can replay chapters after finishing if you want to collect stuff. The one in the snow area was the only one I couldn't do playing through.
Same as every other character, 5 damage cap 3 supp damage 1 war elemental 1 crit rate your unique sigil(s)+ and then whatever you need to cap damage and not die.
But I'm already capped on damage cap, and my 5 damage cap sigils give me potions, guts, autorevive, cascade and quick abiltiy and I have no desire to change that.

Sometimes in proto baha i immediately chain my SBA to be the 2nd guy to pop so that I don't have to think about if we're doing full burst or 2 + 2 nor coordinate/trust with the other guy to figure out whos starting the 2nd burst chain.

Get a second game, put on the maniac death goblins and taxes fight and come back after 45 minutes to collect your loot. Make sure your AI is strong enough to handle em.
I was farming them for level up materials and I got plenty of silver centrums to spare
You can exchange them from Siero using boss materials. Check which one you have an abundance of and farm the other material at maniac. You'll get the mats and they also have a chance to give silver centrums.
What I did since I have like 500+ goblin materials I was afk farming the golem one.
Doing the duo wind/ice dragon quests and the Maglielle/Gallanza quests with friends is all kinds of fun. We're just shouting at each other and laughing our asses off at how chaotic it is. I love this fricking game.
Mag is 90% easier when you learn to jump constantly.
The frost/wind dragon combo was a pain in the ass. AI does not know how to deal with the ice blocking it.

Ghanda was supposed to be a tribute as the last role for a dying VA and he just isn't fun. He has almost no utility, just does damage but does way less damage than the other damage focused characters, has to work harder than everyone else for said damage, is way less tanky than the other melee characters, cannot evade damage as well as the other melee characters, slowest character in the entire game, most boring unique sigils.
I've not unlocked all the chars (waiting for terminus drops) but I find Kat pretty good as an AI support. Healing option, glaciate for cc, plus fairly tanky and can pop invincible. Since I like to use rackam and eugen as AI for ranged damage, having an AI close ranged fighter helps draw the heat off me somewhat so I can actually do my own dps rotation.

i use a stun/weak point build (don't really know if weak point affects batteries) on all party members and just wait around, get the stuff, and quit out
took me about 30 seconds per run quitting to get all my head units and never have to touch that shit again, i get centrums farming literally everything else so its not really an issue for me

The gameplay is pretty shallow at it's core, so I doubt anyone will really want to stick around for more than a few months.
In theory though - they'd probably just rebalance the numbers so they can actually have new weapons that scale reasonably and players don't naturally reach the damage cap without intentional effort to do so.
Either that or force everyone into a defensive build with bosses that never stop spamming unavoidable bullshit and strict timers so that those sigls that allow players to be immune to damage for 5~ seconds every time they dodge aren't enough to ignore the bosses.

18022 with Stout + Steel Nerves (19310 on the character that did not have the 5% DR when Stout Heart is active on the defense tree)
Proto Bahamut's 18022 damage (With the 30% total DR with Stout Heart and Steel Nerves and the 5% from the defense tree) will be cut to 9011 damage with a 50% damage cut.
If you have another 70% def buff from Siegfried, that is cut to 9011*0.3 = 2703.
Siegfried has 2 separate defense buffs, the 70% and 30%. When the 70% is on, the 30% does not work.
However, you can put on Stronghold sigil(s) which are again, 30% defence at the level 30 trait, and yet again, another separate damage reduction multiplier. So the 2703*0.7 = 1892.
Also I noticed percival gains a invisbile stout heart when charging even if you don't get any icon or pop up, the support skill doesn't mention stout heart buff itself but it gives you the DR from stout heart
I already run stout heart + steel nerves on everyone while still going max DMG cap.
I'm rocking a lot of tankiness on my vaseraga it's really nice that he has stout heart on demand, I do love to use immortality+substitute to protect my teammates. Although most players seem to not notice that they can go ape since they are immune to damage. The fully charged counter out of that substitute looks sick too.

I haven't even maxed him out yet, but I did try another take with higher HP/less damage. You're better off though pushing damage on overdrive to still be credit and effective. Otherwise your damage output is so much smaller, but on fights where shit's just going on and trying to keep track/dodge/block stuff is just difficult, it's a easy way to trivialize those fights, yet then you see why a fight might have a 15min defeat challenge if you've got an entire party like that.

30k-40k is "safe" but it's much more important for you to have sources of mitigation and knowing when to use them
if your attacks have armor on them, then you can easily tank your way through shit while attacking.

Only issue is you're hitting for like 20k per hit and then overdrive kicks in and you're dealing 2k instead of still keeping your full damage output. You 100% can go into the "I'll never die" mode, but then you're dealing peanuts for damage. There's for sure a sweet spot that's gotta be found, and I feel like minmaxing so you can keep cap damage doing overdrive/bloodthrust is the key.

almost every proud boss drops but you can farm for crafting them as well. I farm the 2 nazerboju quest a bunch for weapon stones and the 2 griffin quest and the drops from those 2 can make silver centrum.
or you can farm the quest with the 3 elemental diles and those can craft one as well.
The triple -qile quest. Has a chance to drop naturally and you get multiple of each horn type so you can easily trade for more.

I can't believe someone didn't tell you the real mvp, buying exceptional refinium for terminus awakenings. They're 30 a pop and well worth it. It's to the point I farm coins on the airship fleet mission insead of jamming like say fire dragon proud. No chance of failure, roughly 3 refinium worth of coins every run versus 2 from fire dragon. The only real cons is the mission is a 4 minute survive, whereas if you get a really good group you can get 1:30 for fire dragon meaning the math for time investment leans just a little to the dragon but again that requires a good group.
Other con is it wears out my thumb because I just bring my same eugen slime setup into it and mash square accidentally pubbed one a bit ago and I did 4m of the 5m honors done.
It's elite, you can set it to autobattle, just make sure you walk up to the top each time. Eugen is kind of annoying to have as leader for that since he can hop off wherever.

The red things are challenges you don't need to do. They aren't particularly rewarding either. You can replay chapters after finishing if you want to collect stuff. The one in the snow area was the only one I couldn't do playing through.

Sometimes in proto baha i immediately chain my SBA to be the 2nd guy to pop so that I don't have to think about if we're doing full burst or 2 + 2 nor coordinate/trust with the other guy to figure out whos starting the 2nd burst chain.
i do it immediately as well because if i'm in the first chain burst, i can get back enough meter to sba again after link time

Get a second game, put on the maniac death goblins and taxes fight and come back after 45 minutes to collect your loot. Make sure your AI is strong enough to handle em.
I was farming them for level up materials and I got plenty of silver centrums to spare
You can exchange them from Siero using boss materials. Check which one you have an abundance of and farm the other material at maniac. You'll get the mats and they also have a chance to give silver centrums.
What I did since I have like 500+ goblin materials I was afk farming the golem one.

You need to hit it when he lands with the ground slam. Don't use the UI to judge it because the timing is fast enough that it's not a good indicator.

Tower is indeed pretty fun. At first it was really cancer because mastering some battles basically used to boil down to "have this one specific character or get fricked", but nowadays it is really fun.
Also, I doubt Cygames will leave Relink on the dust. They keep updating Versus Rising and that one sold way way less compared to Relink

More or less. The tower has multiple floors, each floor has around 5-6 battles, with the last one being the hardest one, usually a boss of some kind. Most battles have special conditions that give more rewards, like "defeat the enemy using only X type of skills" or things like that

Ghanda was supposed to be a tribute as the last role for a dying VA and he just isn't fun. He has almost no utility, just does damage but does way less damage than the other damage focused characters, has to work harder than everyone else for said damage, is way less tanky than the other melee characters, cannot evade damage as well as the other melee characters, slowest character in the entire game, most boring unique sigils.

I've not unlocked all the chars (waiting for terminus drops) but I find Kat pretty good as an AI support. Healing option, glaciate for cc, plus fairly tanky and can pop invincible. Since I like to use rackam and eugen as AI for ranged damage, having an AI close ranged fighter helps draw the heat off me somewhat so I can actually do my own dps rotation.

I am AFK farming this and the npcs kill it in less than 2 minutes. Geared main, plus Eugen and Rackam using unleveled V sigils.
took me about 30 seconds per run quitting to get all my head units and never have to touch that shit again, i get centrums farming literally everything else so its not really an issue for me
I've never once seen a head drop from a chest in well over 100 kills.
it's still pretty quick, but the drop rate for that seems really low (maybe like 10%?)
From my experience it's around 25%, and you'll need centrums anyway which have around the same droprate.
Some of these bosses are so fricking hard, I think I'm just bad at this game. I went down to furycane nihillia because there's so much shit going on with tornadoes and blight and ground AoEs I can't tell where to move to.

I think this will be abandoned ware unless they think they can milk players purely for cosmetics/characters for awhile.
The gameplay is pretty shallow at it's core, so I doubt anyone will really want to stick around for more than a few months.
In theory though - they'd probably just rebalance the numbers so they can actually have new weapons that scale reasonably and players don't naturally reach the damage cap without intentional effort to do so.
Either that or force everyone into a defensive build with bosses that never stop spamming unavoidable bullshit and strict timers so that those sigls that allow players to be immune to damage for 5~ seconds every time they dodge aren't enough to ignore the bosses.

I've never had a problem with bots.
The bots always target the trash on the desert sand instead of beelining for the legs. With humans you can break all 4 weak spots on the legs simultaneously skipping right into p2.
Not in my experience, they always follow me to the legs and attack what I attack.

Right now, Katalina, Eugen, Io and Rosetta are dead. Rackam, MC, Lyria and Vyrn, alongside some other characters, are finally going to Eustalacia, to have their wish granted and revive them. But apart from those 4 everyone else is alive

I read somewhere that the anime are season 1 and 2, as they are aptly named, and the arc in this game should be considered season 4.5, is that somewhat correct? Also am I right in assuming that those OVA's with Djeeta are basically what happens with Gran but in the future, like they have the same lives and crews but Djeeta's powers and crew are what Gran's powers and crew will be eventually?
The anime adapts the gacha's main story which is currently at 177 chapters and divided into 3 arcs. 2nd season ends at chapter 28.
Arc 3 is going to end on 10th anniversary in March, and Relink's plot is supposedly set after it.
