I'm not chasing the the gacha high of grinding ever increasing numbers, I'm satisfied just playing around with every character before I put the game down for DD2.
There's a limit on how many characters you can recruit, obviously, and thus a limit on crewmate cards in turn. Each of those is unique and gained from various sources. So Siero's shop doesn't restock them. The only thing that's restocked is one Ambrosia per week.
I assumed Siero restocked in post game because two new characters are being added. I guess they''ll just join after doing their bossfights, or the reward will include a crewmate card.

I think it may be because they think casual are morons that can't into these types of mechanics, despite quite literally, forcing people to play the story, which is a perfect way to explain those at a snail pace.
I agree that potion hoarder, guts and autorevive are overkill and they make the game too easy, and so do infinite stun chains with debuffs, link attacks and SBA's. That's why I'm not expecting much from lucilius, it seems they balanced the game around the possibility of still winning fights with AI companions.

Assuming you're not some showerlet "I must clear things the fastest way possible" and you want to have fun then you play Baha Versa, Pyet and The Wolf and the Veil with randoms.

Just keep playing for now, there isn't really anything to grind before Maniac. You can keep up with the pwr rating just by upgrading your weapons normally (focus on the crit one) and working up the mastery tree.
When you hit maniac, you want to grind the slime mission (first one) until you reach lv100 and full mastery. Which should be enough to take you into proud.
And then the real grind begins, but if you're online just look for groups to carry you through proud.
Finish the quest that give you damage cap as first clear reward, and fill your grid with them. Don't upgrade them yet.
This game needs a battle pass or something like that. The game is over after you finished it, that maybe right in 1980s but ain't right in 2024.

It should take a fully kitted party around 15 mins to beat if they play well.
No new op weapons or anything to drop, but much better reward for existing grind mats, plus war ele, sup V+ sigils etc.
Its only because theres no additional rules to the game when playing with other players unlike MonsterHunter.
All they have to do is bloat HP and stun thresholds when playing with a full group to fix it short term.
Longterm they can have bosses have required buffs to remove, both on player/boss. That way the optimal group/build isnt just bumrushing damagecap 4x. Maybe add truly unblockable attacks that must be mitigated by buffs as well.

Nono you don't understand, there's a trophy just before this one that states "complete all chapters on ultimate difficulty", and the game's 10 chapters are divided into a total of 41 parts, and that's what the game is keeping track of. You just have to do it AGAIN for this trophy, for whatever reason. Except that this time it's stuck at 40/41.
anon just do each chapter and exit and check every chapter. You have to do it 3 times for the journal so that way you can figure out what the last one is so you don't have to triple dip. Or just pay attention to when the entry pops up and repeat that chapter
The trophy for doing it 3 times doesn't show up until you complete the one before, so I can't do that.
Lucilius will take 5 minutes, will not be fun to do and will add new weapons to make the combat even more mindless than it already is.

when do you equip damage cap sigils? Like what attack power do you need before they are useful?
It's kind of complicated because different attacks of different combos of different characters have different damage caps, however you can go to the dummy on the ship and attack it with a single basic attack, then wait a moment for the combo to reset and do it again, if the same exact number shows up that means you're capping.
Then again, just because you're capping the first hit of the basic combo, it doesn't necessarily mean you'll be capping all hits of every combo.

It can be, yes, it's possible to hit cap even with a low raw attack stat if you're stacking sigils like stamina, tyranny, life on the line and so on. Hell, you probably don't even need many, since the base damage cap is so low. Just go to the mannequin and test it, it literally takes 10 seconds.

Yeah, it could be. Probably not if you have absolutely no damage multipliers, but between personal buffs and attack sigils it's pretty easy to hit cap on some moves.
The reason why people get confused is that no matter what, they generally aren't capping with their WHOLE moveset no matter what, and it's not always clear whether it's a better idea to get more dmg cap up to hit harder with a certain part of the moveset, or use those sigil slots on attack% skills instead, to hit harder with the other part of their moveset.

It's not a live service forever-grind type of game so I think it was inevitable for threads to slow down once most anons already unlocked and upgraded the shit they wanted.

Yeah, it's a fair complaint. The endgame is pretty barebones and I doubt most people would argue against that. Everyone is funneled into repeating the same few trivial quests over and over that only get more trivial with gear.
I think it just really needs some harder fights to warrant the grind.
The problem is that you can speedrun fights with raw stats and multipliers. Balance that out so that the average fight is 10-15 minutes ala MH and it'd be more fun.

It's just hard to gauge whether or not it's going to be a total cakewalk that ends in under 5 minutes like all of the other proud fights with fully awakened terminus weapons and optimal sigil set ups.

doesn't matter if they add one or two harder fights. for one that is only one or two bosses and they'll be figured out and boring in a week. they'll probably come with a new weapon or sigil tier or something and after a week of grinding they'll become piñatas like the rest of the game sadly enough.

That's what I thought as well until I saw a friend go through the whole thing without ever taking a step online. I see it more like a normal arpg that you can also play co-op, because there is honestly no content in the game that requires the coordination of a group of people.
The game has co-op, but the entire game can be completed solo with AI companions; even Proud quests. Bahamut and Pyet-A with AI companions is completely doable even before getting Terminus weapons. Lucifer raid may change this depending on how difficult it is though.

I don't consider myself that good in this game. There's also the fact that Danchou's dps isn't that good. I've already beaten this mission twice with her but only with grade A but I wanted at least a grade of S for her. Around 4 days ago, I easilly beat this quest with Narmaya and I also get the S+ grade easilly but with Danchou, I always get stuck in the dps check of baha.

Dummy score isn't a good comparison. Rosetta can do a lot more damage than that shows. Besides, maintaining the skill level is extremely easy when the opponent is not moving.
Show me how can she do more damage than that, dummy is pretty much ideal scenario for most characters.

I'm the original anon you replied to. I thought you're asking for Danchou since that was the topic I was talking about. Anyway, the roses are good for bosses that have multiple hit zones. The dummy only have one. Supplementary isn't that practical for Rosetta because it doesn't affect the roses so the advantage of Rosetta is that you can have more leeway for her sigils that other characters. Apparently, you can also use Glass cannon on her easily than other characters because of her range and sigil leeway.
There's a lot more things to say. Just watch some gaytube vids. They can explain it better there.

For most fights and especially versa, you won't have time to both increase your arts and release your skills. So I have to strategize which time I need to increase my arts and release my skills in one go

What kind of dps are you dishing out? Holy shit. It's actually faster to do the XYXXYY or XXYXYY and it has higher damage. I only do XYY when I need a very quick one or if versa is in the very high cut damage mode. The one right after the attack with a lot of falling balls.
The point is that in versa, the openings are barely there and there's only time for either making it to art lvl 4 or dishing out all the skills. If there's a link attack after all the skils, you can do another set to lvl 4 then reginleiv then back to start again.
The cd's barely matter because all of the skills will be finished anyway in between the time of increasing the fist art lvl to 4 or the time when versa is attacking.
Compare that to Narm which is the other character that I have used against versa. I can just unga bunga combo or give out skills whenever I like it or when it's open. It's also much easier for her since even if I get hit, I can easily go back to whatever I was doing before. I don't need much loops for her, just ungabunga.
For danchou, one hit can make all the strategy go in pieces. It's also hard to pull out the bug. I don't even understand it until the 3rd day of trying her out and I miss a lot.
There's also the fact that I don't even know about the bug before I tried this challenge. I main danchou but I just usually use slows and damage cuts for her skills. While trying versa out, I was even using slow instead of the kick skill. Also, that fricking kick is hard to hit when I lock on on versa. I hate to use free aim to his back side, otherwise I will miss because versa has his chest forward and the belly backwards.
If the other better players has better loops,strategy and tactics, then good for them. All I'm saying is that I found it really hard to do this challenge, much harder than Narm at the very least.
Djeeta's kick is supposedly easier to miss vs Gran's, fwiw.

Transmarvel fills up every time you trade the tickets for shit. You need to do 10 of the highest ticket trade to get 1 transmarvel. So 1000 tickets gives you 4 transmarvels
Yeah that's what I mean, you get like 10-15 tickets per mission or so on proud, so basically it takes more missions than there are in the entire difficulty to get one roll
That's not the main source of tickets, that would be trading treasure and sigils and wrightstones you don't use. A single proud red dragon drops a huge amount of tickets if you consider how much dragon scales, dragon wings, red wyrm israeliteels etc. can be traded in for.

Just tried this with my fully geared Charlotta (22k pwr)... the first time I failed at 1%, then on my second attempt I barely managed to beat him and got an A.

I'm not that familiar with Charlotta but I feel like her combo caps easily. I'm not sure about her finishers and skills. Maybe you can try glass cannon if everything else fails.
Charlotta's combo finisher has high MVs, but even higher cap. So she needs to stack some more damage modifiers on top of the usual minimum. And her optimal rotation has her chaining the finisher as often as possible, so it makes up for like half of her damage. She doesn't cap out that easily.
Makes sense. I only use Charlotta on normal bosses that can be used with invincibility to mash the X button to hasten the CDs of skills.
I know that her actual dps should revolve around her finishers but I haven't tested it much.
Well, in a full party you might actually cap by having buffs/debuffs, without the need to sacrifice any utility/defensive sigils on Charlotta herself. But not for a solo challenge, I guess. Anyway, it's not like you absolutely need to cap all of your attacks to beat Versa solo.

Depends on the character honestly. Maybe it's a skill issue for me and I've said it already earlier this thread but I easily defeated versa solo with Narm but I struggled with Danchou. I always get walled by the first dps check.
I think those differences can be written off as player performance/playstyle issues, rather than the character lacking in damage/not capping.

war elemental is certainly acquirable given how many boxes it appears in once proud mode is unlocked. supp 5+, on the other hand, is like 1/11000+, even spamming proud quests for curio boxes.
Lucifer has to drop something and if it doesn't drop a new weapon or sigil, it better drop better rewards.
my copium wish is that they will add proud + where there's other monster that hit harder and with more health but drop much, much better rewards than normal prouds, and im talking about 10 curios per quest or some shit like that.

Game is too easy. Every fight lasts less than 5 minutes, most less than 3. No fight is even remotely difficult with how broken chain block-dodging is. Adding in 1 single raid 1 month later won't save this game. People can only do the same single fight so many times before getting bored out of their minds.

At that point you're probably 100/100 on your main's masteries anyway, right? You can just change your sigils around.
Farm out the weapon and the materials, but don't use it and don't start the awakening process. Do start working on fully leveling and uncapping your other weapons.
What causes Proto Bahamut's crystals to have a shield sometimes? It's fricking me up and I can't seem to get through them in time, it very rarely happens.

Okay lets discuss what Faa-san could have
The main gimmick of faa-san on the game is his "Labor buffs" (12th labors are added to Faa-san when his wings reach 50% hp)
I-Vl: gives him elemental boost of each element (he has multi elemental attacks), can be cleared by doing a set amount of damage of each element.
Vll: Gives him what is essentially War Elemental.
Can be removed by doing plain damage. (There's no plain damage in the game, so we'll probably get a completely different labor or a gimmick)
Vlll Labor: Nullifies DMG cut. can be removed by doing Over Chain. (Over chain is doing 5 or more ougis, since this doesn't exist in the game this probably will be change to full burst or a set number of ougis)
IX: Gives him HP every turn. Can be removed by hitting him 30 times in one turn. (Since turns don't exist, this could be tweaked to require a few seconds instead)
X: Lands a random debuff every turn to everyone. It can be removed when you have 10+ or more debuffs on him. (Will probably requiress less debuffs)
Xl: Removes 2 buffs from all alies every turn. It can be removed by triggering a special paradise lost. (This could stay as it is but it would be too easy, it probably would be "tank a paradise lost without dying/getting hit")
Xll: Deals plain damage 3 times to a random ally. Can only be removed by clearing every other labor. (Will probably stay as it is)
Other mechanics that could happen:
The End: Basically a death count to game over, in the game if anyone dies 6 times its game over, no matter if they have revive potions. Don't recall if autorevive counts as 1 death.
Paradise Lost (Join trigger): 30K plain damage to everyone. This probably won't happen since we already got spoiled, unless they changed but we'll have to see.

There are 2 characters that start with Luci, so instead of calling him by his full name, he's called faa-san.

Evangelist blade stacks: Everytime faa-san ougis, he gains a stack, buffing his attacks. Can be removed by using a Dispel skill
l: 30% Boost to Lucilius' ATK
ll: Axion Apocalypse Removes 1 Debuff
lll: Normal attacks dispel 2 random buffs from the whole party
lV: Damage dealt is turned to the target's weak element. Axion Apocalypse deals an additional 10,000 AoE Plain DMG
V: Ignores DMG Cuts. Axion Apocalypse inflicts SMax HP Lowered (Stackable
Faa-san has a second target on the fight, and those are his wings that are dark element. every time they ougi they give him or remove a buff called
"Wings of the world" and gives a different debuff depending if the buff is removed or gained.
Wing of the world: DMG taken is capped and HP is restored every turn. (Can't be removed by dispel)
Forbidden Fruit: every odd ougi from the wings give this debuff to all allies. Charge Attacks damage is boosted. (Can't be removed by dispel) It's removed when using a charge attack but also the user takes plain damage.
Fruit of life: Everyone (including Faa-san) restores HP when anyone uses skill (can be removed by dispel) It's removed when using a skill.
There are HP triggers and what not that changes what he does thorugh the fight, some are required to pass and override other hp triggers or ougis. They are essentially "big dick damage" attacks that either dispel, gives debuffs or clears all his debuffs or the party buffs.
He also has a lot of DEF so its hard to cap ougis and normal attacks against him, so debuffs may be important, he also hits like a truck so damage cuts, heals and what not could become really important.
Since his "Wings of the world" buff is up half of the time, it will probably mean we'll require less damage cap sigils, people will probably changed them for more defensive skills like Aegis or Stronghold/Garrison.
This also means that having a support character like Cag, Rosseta or Dancho (with support skills) will be good.

Go back in time and manually back up your saves. Well, maybe you can pull out steam cloud history or something. Never really had to deal with it honestly.
Look in user/appdata/local/GBFR/Saves for Savedata1 and Savedata1_BackUp. Try using the back up first by deleting Savedata1 and renaming it. Often it'll be corrupted alongside the original save, but if it isn't, you're good. Be sure to maintain a manual save by copying it occasionally now.

Sorry, buddy, guess you're fricked then. If it's any consolation, it's a frequent enough issue that someone here might bum you their save. All you have to do is modify a couple hex values on it to correspond with your steam id (which you can check by opening either your original save or the backup in a hex editor, you won't need to dig for it, should be hex values 4-11.)
I tried granblue years ago at launch. It was some weird tile game with a bad tutorial I didn't understand. Moved on to other gachas.
With a dozen or more gachas under my belt now relink came out and I got it figuring I'd give the game another try. Play through relink then check in on the gacha.

You're literally talking about the only gacha company in existence that invests part of its dirty gacha money into making actual videogames (shadowverse, versus, relink)

Granblue localization was always bad but Relink manages to be even more awful.
That's because the western hand is inside somewhere. They never added female erunes after all. The english in the browser game is made by the game devs themselves.
