Best combat in the series for all its blemishes. Has an actual good Destroyman follow-up after the abortion of a fight in 2. Did Henry dirty tho, and his VA for that matter.

Alright here me out...
I have no idea. In some interviews Suda says he's going to direct more going forward while in others he talks about wanting to give younger developers a chance to direct. I expect it'll be another co-directed game like TSA and NMH3 but he'll do a lot of the work with someone to kind of show the ropes
Moonlight Syndrome is my personal favorite Suda work. It's the most crazy and mindfrick game in Suda's 30 years in the industry, it also kickstarted his deep and intertwined Kill The Past series in earnest (TSC's beginning is a sequel to the end of Moonlight Syndrome and the first "Kamui" is none other than Ryo). Although, there's a manga written by Suda that connects it even more. the main character is Mika from the prequel Twilight Syndrome (which was directed by Suda as well). However, Moonlight Syndrome does not deal with urban legends, spiritual phenomena and human sadness (like in the end of Twilight Syndrome), but with the madness of the human mind. The characters' dialogues, their actions, and the development of the game all reflect the absurdity and spine-chilling madness of the human mind. Mass suicides, bizarre murders, stalkers.. not for the usual reasons, but for something more vague and nebulous, something we can understand but don't want to understand, the madness that lies at the bottom of the human heart. The game attacks a variety of perspectives on matters that we have naturally turned away from, as much as we dislike them. The game was a very realistic representation of modern Japan. SUDA51 created a genius masterpiece, there's no other games like it. The game impacted Toyama Keiichiro so hard he created SIREN and named its protagonist Suda.
>Spike Chunsoft has said that Moonlight Syndrome is Suda's business and when Human Entertainment went bankrupt some characters and story rights were given to him
Source? Even then, if he only has some of the rights to specific characters, he'd still gave to get their approval
I don't remember if it was in an interview or a livestream he did a year or two ago but he did say that. He already used Mika and Ryo when he wrote PreLunatic so it must be true.
>The Suda game I'm most interested in will never be playable in English
Makes me fricking livid, man. Thanks for the review. I now want to play Moonlight Syndrome more than ever.
Unfortunately, two years ago when Suda was asked about a possible remaster for Moonlight Syndrome he said he wasn't personally interested in a Moonlight Syndrome remaster. He doesn't think this specific style of adventure games are suitable for modern audiences. There are CERO issues and the current way games are rated (in terms of age) in Japan would screw that release up. Also, I think he said that remastering it is something that Spike Chunsoft would have to decide, not him, but that's just him throwing the responsibility at Spike Chunsoft because Spike Chunsoft has said that Moonlight Syndrome is Suda's business and when Human Entertainment went bankrupt some characters and story rights were given to him, that's why he is freely allowed to use some specific characters from Twilight/Moonlight Syndrome. It's really a shame that many fans of Kill The Past series can't experience it due to language barrier and Suda's reluctant to give it to them.

whoa
I saw that too. Kino game. Don’t need to waste money on a remaster tho..
hey it never came out on PC, so it's a chance to play it non-emulated... which I guess would be fine too but I haven't tried it.
We need the Steam version. The emulation needs at least an i9 and 64GB RAM to run this. My 2060RX can't.
There's fricking nothing, what are you talking about?
>STARTING IN 30
Centralgay here, I thought it starts at midnight?
You got it wrong. It starts like in 12 hours
11pm my time (cst)
🙁
DAMNED SHADOWS PC STEAM CONFIRMED?
Best gaming news of the year for me. And Yakuza.
I still haven't played No More Heroes 3
Best combat in the series for all its blemishes. Has an actual good Destroyman follow-up after the abortion of a fight in 2. Did Henry dirty tho, and his VA for that matter.
Me too. Waiting for a sale. $30 still too much.
I'm actually surprised at how SOTD looks, a lot of Unreal Engine 3 remasters frick up the whole atmosphere/lighting while porting to UE4.
OP you fricked up a little...
So uh, same place, same thread in 12 hours?
No More Heroes 4, baby!
I need to play more SUDA games. I have Silver Case, Killer7, Sine Mora, Killer is Dead Steam.
I read he made a Fatal Frame game too.
You mean the FF4 game, that was remastered and dropped on Steam earlier this year with 0 hype?
Am I alone in thinking Killer is Dead is their best game? I would buy a remaster of that in a heartbeat.
No, I love KiD. And the fact Suda lied about SotD makes me think The Killer is Dead reboot is happening and I am excited for that.

Actually they might've done TSA by themselves, but that's it
GungHo, Marvelous never owned Grasshopper

Alright here me out...
Suda told Famitsu he couldn't get the rights to Chainsaw Man so it's a new IP
Oh ok. Well, I like the look of this guy, he looks like he comes from a 90s FPS.
I like the shotgun gauntlets and I hope we can shotgun punch enemies in the face

>Chainsaw Protag
Source?
Year and platforms are made up, but Suda talked about it with Famitsu, here's your protag
Is it a game directed and/or written by him?
I have no idea. In some interviews Suda says he's going to direct more going forward while in others he talks about wanting to give younger developers a chance to direct. I expect it'll be another co-directed game like TSA and NMH3 but he'll do a lot of the work with someone to kind of show the ropes
You guys do know that Suda sold the company to some chink corporation right? Right? He no longer works there
He sold out to Netease, but he still works there
Marvelous sold Grasshopper to NetEase but Suda still works there.
There's a shitty no more heroes mobile game they're showing tonight. That's all I know.
So is it an actual live stream? Or are they throwing up a video? Or?
>Let it Die but this time its single player only and balanced without the microtransaction bullshit
Never ever

>still no Killer7 remaster
How do you remaster perfection?
No Killer 7 sequel then I'm not interested.
It doesn't need a sequel.
It's going to be rammed with remasters, ghm have officially lost it. All that setup in tsa just to remaster sotd instead of making a follow up
The only other games they have the rights to remaster are Killer is Dead and Frog Minutes
And Diabolical Pitch
I want a new Let it Die
It was leaked already. A bunch of remasters and DEATHVERSE: LET IT DIE Rebooted.
>DEATHVERSE: LET IT DIE
Suda has nothing to do with this game.
Lily Bergamo bros, we RIDE
I'm still mad at let it dies lost potential
