The first game on the PS Vita will always be the peak of this series. The story and setting was a strong and good overall start for the series, and the gravity mechanic took full advantage of the Vitas functions such as the motion controls and the back touch screen. If you ever truly want to appreciate this series this is the only way to jump into it.

both games failed to utilize the concept of gravity manipulation in an exciting way. the games should have focused far more on platforming and puzzles than combat
I platinumed both games. GR1 is better than 2, regardless what anyone says. I am still super hyped at playing this game at 4k and I am also super sure that this game will bomb again. They honestly could not fullfill the expectations I had for a sequel after playing gr1

I played GR2 right after playing the HD remaster release of the first one on PS4. GR1 ran so well with a really nice frame rate. Then I played GR2 and you lose all the power ups from the first game, it takes forever to get the new styles, and the frame rate was pretty bad. I think the first game is a better package overall that's great the whole way through, while the second game takes a while to really going. I might have liked GR2 more if I didn't play it directly after finishing the first game.

I just booted up the first game on latest vita3k and it seems to work fine now, it didn't in the past. Now I can finally play it, I never got around to it before my vita kicked the bucket
