HOWEVER now that in summer 2024 there will be a new expansion named Asterkarn Valley, it will have the real ending of the games true story
It will also have the final mastery to use for your characters.
Inquisitor and Demolitionists were great masteries but they are mostly suitable for ranged build, that leaves you with only 7 close combat builds
But the new mastery which is now coming (shapeshifting mastery) is all about close combat again, you will shapeshift into close combat creatures
We can only hope the Asterkarn levels are big and nice so that games size would grow into acceptable levels
So far GrimDawn gaming zone was much smaller than entirety of Titan Quest game (Titan Quest was made by same team more than a decade ago)

Titan Quest scenery is awesome though, no other game of same genre has come quite close

Grim Dawn has one problem.
its graphics, and the UI, are shit, incredibly old for the time it came out.
I don't need it to be exceptionally pretty, I just don't want it to be "slightly better looking than a PS2 game" bad., and it is, if not worse than some PS2 games.
the jpegs on most of the items are fricking atrocious as well.
The game has one problem and it's the boring setting. Titan Quest is much better game.

Game is fine and decently fun but the as mentioned before, the build diversity is just really shallow. The skills barely feel any different and even the itemization is kind of boring.

I've played all of these on gamepads and they were great fun. All of them official gamepad support as well
twin sticks games allow you to move and attack at the same time. Im just saying this would make kiting more enjoyable

I know is hard to admit, but PoE simply change the game and is not going back. Grim dOwn is slow, boring and outdated, and probably PoE is a convoluted shit show, but it has best mechanics & speed. That's it
