Just remake RDR1. It would take literally no effort.
>Take code from RDR1 >Copy paste it into RDR2 >delete any extraneous bugs >Change some character models and textures >Make 6.5 trillion dollars for no effort and like a 0.00001% cost
set it in California and northern Mexico near the ocean, make it like Blood Meridian how the gang reaches the coast towards the end of the novel. maybe add some seafaring in general. that's what I'd want from RDR3 to differentiate it from the previous games
just rewatched it, and nah. it was originally supposed to come out in 2017 though? wtf. wouldn't be surprised if VI was planned for 2024 but they pushed it leaveish it
hello youngin, rockstar has delayed all of their games at least once or twice. every game since GTA 4. bet the original release window for GTA6 is holiday season 2025. expect it to actually release holiday 2026.
I've loved R* since San Andreas, I honestly just never paid close attention to the release dates I guess. I was super hyped for RDR2, must have forgotten it was initially planned for 2017. Keep it mind that in the past decade they've only released two games.
and theyve both been delayed. same as rdr 1, and gta 4. what does "theyve only released two games in the past decade" have to do with anything? they still cant release games on time even with crunch, so they dont even bother giving us a window because they know people will be outraged.

especially now that they're not doing crunch you can bet your fricking ass its being delayed.
never mind that theyve already started over develoment at least twice, and scrapped at least half the content originally planned(1980s time period, caribbean island, free roam south american country).
of course. no flying jet bikes and orbital strikes either. but they also probably just couldnt do two vastly different maps, switching back and forth at will, among many other reasons.
The 80s version of the Cheetah is in the trailer, wouldn't be surprised if Tommy's outfit is unlockable for Jason too.

what does that have to do with nickel and diming kids with sharkcards for superyachts and sports cars and hoverbikes and all the other high tech state of the art military shit in GTAO?

which was more to what i was saying, theyre lazy, so instead of doing all that work to make two time periods, with noticeable change and growth between the two distinct eras, they just dropped it entirely to stick with a lame generic modern setting.

they people who made it are mostly gone. the people who are left cried about crunch time because they here mad they had to work instead of shitposting on twitter and tumblr all day. there are limits
the thing about rockstar's games is that they're always more detailed than you remember them being, depending on what you're talking about when you mention detail. like the exteriors of buildings in SA and IV for example have a lot of unique writing on them if you look at them closely. with that being said VI will definitely be more detailed than RDR2 just because of the type of game it is. that is to say a more dense and modern open world
with rockstar's dismal timescale on these games another read dead sequel would be fricking stupid. they'd be going into 2030 with nothing but gta and a cowboy game, better part of 20 years and that's all they have. you spend 7 years making something it needs to be gta or something new.
moron take, it made more than any game ever except for GTA 5, which made billions from selling shark cards alone. why do they have to compete when theyre both highly successful and owned by the same companies? avarice is bad
The trick is that the game starts just when they begin turning away from the past. You don't see the 20 other years Arthur spent doing gang shit because it would make him seem unredeemable
Frick you
I DON'T SPEAK YOUR FRICKING LANGAUGE
Why would you want a new red dead redemption that is guaranteed to make women and minority npcs unkillable?
What's the gameplay of this game like? Is it deep? What's the skill tree like? Is there an optimal build?
idk honestly I've never played it
RDR is boring, is just a worse GTA. The only reason it exists is as a tech demo before releasing GTA
GTA is fricking boring, it exists as a tech demo for red dead
Hopefully never. Would be open for another Red Dead ________ though.
>90% of the game is riding a horse
>5% is shitty shooting mechanics
The remaining 5% was alright. What is my point? That RDR2 is overrated as frick.
90% of the game is driving a car, the other 10% is just shitty shooting
I'm with you anon. I'd rather we get another RDR than GTA.
he cute :3

Rockstar are seriously the biggest morons
I think RDR being rereleased only for PS4 and Switch is a bit sus they might be planning something
Couple weeks ago, Rockstar put out new job listings for people to help write pedestrian dialogue. Safe to say it ain't VI.
Either Bully 2 or RDR3.
I want Fantasy GTA or Lunar GTA not Brokeback GTA
The Witcher 3 or Kingdoms of Alamor
Starfield
Enjoye

There's nowhere to go with the story, the west has been conquered and all the interesting characters are dead.
that first rdr2 trailer was so much better than the vi one.
just rewatched it, and nah. it was originally supposed to come out in 2017 though? wtf. wouldn't be surprised if VI was planned for 2024 but they pushed it leaveish it
IV was delayed a year, V was delayed a year, RDR1 was delayed a year, RDR2 was delayed a year
you can bet your ass you won't be playing VI until 2026.

I feel like they probably would have set it in the 80s if it wasnt for the modern supercars they could sell to onlinegays

I'm still pissed the game looks nowhere as good as the trailer did
it absolutely does.
It does now on PC with max settings at 1440p or 4K. The console version (which is what the trailers were advertising) does not look like that.
played it on my ps4 before playing it on PC and even on console it still looks great
Enough with this shit. RDR1 was already concluded the story with the twilight of wild west era.
I always had my Arthur with long hair and a full beard so I don't even recognize him when people post pics of well groomed Arthur.
Finally I have become AMC's The Walking Dead!
On replays I always have Arthur sport a length 10 beard on chapter 6.
kino
why did they make him so dreamy, it was distracting tbh
Dan Houser and Michael Unsworth quit Rockstar.
Why do you think RDR3 would be any good? The entire writing team/directing left
I heard a rumour from an insider that there will be an announcement by Rockstar in a couple weeks
2030
2030
GTAV is nowhere near as detailed as RDR2. Will VI be more like V or RDR2 you think?
V but even less funnier.

It honestly seems like an impossible task to outdo RDR2. It has an absurd amount of details

If its anything like 2 then I hope never.

westerns are so boring, how do you people play these things?
gore is good
also as a burger shooting people, animals or even objects is fun.
Shooting people and modifying your guns.
The shitty police system is kinda terrible, but you can mod it out.
I'm trans btw
God, the Valentine biome is so fricking boring.
rdr2 didn't make shitloads of money like GTA did so they will never make one again
moron take, it made more than any game ever except for GTA 5, which made billions from selling shark cards alone. why do they have to compete when theyre both highly successful and owned by the same companies? avarice is bad
why is arthur such a nice guy?
The trick is that the game starts just when they begin turning away from the past. You don't see the 20 other years Arthur spent doing gang shit because it would make him seem unredeemable
games so bland i end up playing sleeping dogs which is actually FUN
