There's either two things that will happen, if this isn't a bait thread:
A. OP will play it and actually develop some taste
B. OP will get filtered and frick off forever.
Whichever outcome is more desirable? I don't know.
I did
I've been out of the GTA loop ever since san andreas, got hyped by gta 6 trailer and cant wait to play. I'm going to after i finish phantom liberty
i've been shitting on IV for years, but i gave it another chance week ago and for some reason im having tons of fun with it, and already got 50h on the timer
im rushing main story now so i can check DLC content, and which one should i play first in your opinion?
I'd only recommend it if you actually LIKE rockstar's games and this isn't your first foray into their catalogue. despite what some may tell you, GTAV is better in just about every way, and I don't even like that game either.
If you liked 5 you'll probably like 4. There's less to do in 4 than there was in 5 but there isn't that much to do in 5 anyway. 4 has both a better story and a better atmosphere than 5 if you ask me, along with more interiors you can enter and better physics and npc ai. It's well worth the 5 dollars if you like GTA5, I've honestly spent a lot of time in 4 just driving around enjoying the city.
Niko is an interesting character. Eventually at one point in the story you will realize how disappointing and underwhelming everything can be. Not trying to be blackpilling or anything., but that's the story's premise
>looks shit but I like 5.
You would hate it because its not a wacky reddit simulator. You cant even buy digital currency on it. That's right, no shark cards in gta4.
It's the best GTA, I don't care what anyone says. It's like how the Star Wars prequels were George Lucas' true vision for better or worse, that's what GTA IV was for the OG Rockstar team. The game they always wanted to make, before they were all but forced to make San Andreas 2.0 by angry fans. Every square inch of the game is 2000s vidya /soul/. The missions will probably seem boring, realism™ was a big thing at the time. But if you can treat it more like a illegal immigrant criminal simulator than a GTA V shark card sandbox, you'll be fine.
PC version doesn't have the original radio (see the only one that matters) so you'll have to do some tweaking if you want the true experience.
You should buy the original System Shock instead (not the remake).
>(not the remake).
why? (not OP) I imagine the level design isn't substantially changed, so navigation is still equivalent to open world navigation aka brain-dead.

OP sucks wieners until proven otherwise. This is standard procedure, how did you get out of the academy not knowing this?
It's the most boring GTA imo, easily worse than GTA 3, Vice City, San Andreas and V. But it's still a decent game worth playing.

no, I got GTA V
I didn't care for the missions but the city is nice to explore. Very comfy and atmospheric, especially when it's raining at night.
are you sure your babushka doesn't need your 5 little euros for her life saving medicine
are there enough turnips in the pantry?
Yankee-kun the babushka countries don't use euros as a currency.
GTA 4 has the best physics of any game because it includes the entire euphoria engine unlike GTA 5
it's a mess on PC
a lof the music is stripped out due to licensing bullshit and the game runs like shit even on newer hardware

TLatD so you don't end on a shitty note
TLAD isn't worth playing
you get a lot of game for just 5 euros, I'd say its a great deal
One you unlock the second area you will feel how repetitive it is. The city despite being realistic, is souless

haha no
jfc
Can’t you get a key for like 5-10?
Gta4 is good, liked it more than 5. 5 sucks donkey dicks
If you play GTA4 get it on a console. Don't play the PC port, it's complete dogshit.

You can appreciate the realism it brings, but the city is depressing and they could have cut half of the missions to make it less boring
>the city is depressing
To you, I loved GTA IV's Liberty City. GTA V is depressing to me because it's vapid and empty just like the real LA.
iv is the only gta where it's fun to take it slow and mess around with the physics
