Bros, I have a problem. Boss Rush final boss. Do i go Andras, Garam, Orca and Sia or do I go Andras, Garam, Orca and Miya? need a shit ton of points for seasonal achievement, but Balock is literally roasting my team alive. Thoughts? So far I've used up Eunha, Claude, Karina and Kamael in other teams, so they're out.
I've seen Garam + FK + Vinette I forgot who as last, but the basic idea is to stun Balloc before he can start the fire spiral, then chain him down with other units a bit after the stun timer to stop his charge that traps the others.

I recommend using Garam/Vero/Orca/Andras for team 1 and LGYuze lead melee meme team for team 2. You full chain with team 1, swap to team 2 and full chain, then back and full chain. If you do it right you'll have Balock at around 20% which should be doable. There is a problem where he gains CC immunity when he goes down to around 70%-60% HP so you should start your chain after that.

When pulling a 3* unit, the thing they do on the stage is just for show. Whatever char you pull for is already set when you see the white box. You can see silhouette of other characters and get excited I suppose.
There's no guaranteed pull pity system in GT like in most gachas, you got pretty lucky. What we have is a mileage system. One pull on character or weapon banner = one mileage ticket, and you can trade 300 tickets for a 3* unit or their EX weapon. Tickets don't expire and you can hoard them for future units/weapons if you want. Conventional wisdom is to spend jims/summon controllers for units exclusively and use mileage on weapons since weapon can be atrocious.
Rachel is neat, yes. With any luck she might get an ascension and get a huge power boost in the near future. There's been one 2* of each element that got an ascension except for water and basic.

You're lucky, there's plenty of stuff for you to do. We're only in /vmg/ because the old director pretty much forced our hand. Nothing was getting done and world releases were months apart with no news inbetween. Only advice I can give you, is to avoid general chat in game. Claude, Vinette, Karina and 1st commander is the best possible team if you have them for expo, or swap out Karina for rifle oghma, but that would make them way easier to kill, you'd have to make good use of swaps and stuff.
Claude, Chrom and Yuzu-sama carry expedition. You really need to get Claude. The general rule is, don't mileage heroes, but I would make an exception with Claude, he is brilliant. His weapon skill range is huge so I don't think you'll find a decent replacement.

Both him and hear deal the same type of stagger type (airborne) so it barely matters, the only reason you'd swap Ameris out of lead is if you need a really specific timing on the WS and stagger to avoid some annoying move the boss does that delaying chains won't fix.

Relic with hp recovery, defense cards, chainsaw + Future Knight can do it. If not Chrom is a god for this. I didn't have her, so I ended up switching between Erina and FK until I got it. HP recovery relic lets you enter the next part with full hp, if you dodge the lasers and heal up to max before killing.
We don't know. For her to be, the Rey, Scintilla, Lilith and Yuzuu team needs a rework. I don't think she will be unless we can find someone else to replace both Lilith and Yuze. If 50% fire is the issue. Lilith has defense down, and Yuuz is a skill buffer, so they're very hard to replace. And it won't be Scintilla because she's insanely powerful, and it won't be Rey because she can buff herself, self heal and has crit damage on top.
She replaces Yuzu and brings fire melee to about dark team level, so yeah. Elvira is still better at lower levels naturally, but if your guild is on the stronger side, she's invaluable. Plus there are bosses Elvira isn't as strong against like Erina.

40%, I'm using some of my raid relics because I honestly can't give enough of a shit to minmax relic mainstats and substats and having god-tier main/subs on a relic% relic would make me gorilla mad

I know /gtg/ is dead, and we're all starving for discussion, but I was asking that question to only one of you. %6 relic drop should be the right answer with how pitiful the drop was. I didn't formulated my sentence correctly.
I was farming District 8 4th trial with 55% drop rate until I was able to upgrade to the third epic chalice I needed to beat the 6th trial and unlock the boss earlier today. I cleared that and barely survived District 9 1st trial to claim the mission stones and made the fourth epic chalice I needed. Now I guess I'll grind District 8 6th trial with 50% drop rate for a long while. I know I'll eventually have to respec my relics into Boss/PVP damage.

Area one can be basically cleared entirely (minus the final boss) with a decently built Claude, A generic dark raid team will carry him there.
Just tried Kamazone conqueror 3, with 1 curse + penance and good (not great) artifacts and managed to get to the end of floor 5 (dying to the boss) Is conqueror 3 doable for me? Is there any point in putting Lilith in my dark team when I already have 1CC? The DEF down doesn't stack. But Lilith also has DEF down and hits way harder than 1CC, so maybe I should replace her instead?

Putting in both means one of them won't be getting any benefits from the rest of the team (unless you are running some weird +% dark damage team that is suboptimal anyway), and that can be several millions worth of damage.
I swear 1CC fricking sucks. She hits like a wet noodle for only a 10% DEF down increase over Lilith, who deals respectable damage. I want my 300 meme metal for her EX and all the awakening stones and coffee back.
Defense down is brutal. Try using Nari on a mono dark team for example, it will do a shit ton of damage. Future Knights defense shred has kicked Lahn out of basic raid, it's that good.
Lahn seems to still be better on earlier stages when boss defense isn't too oppressive yet. Kind of annoying, really. I'd love to repurpose her awakening stones for other units.

How did you chain? I've seen people use Nari, Kanna then Knight. Recharge and go for Eunha's. Maybe its down to how you chain?

Nari, Kanna, Eunha, Eunha WS while it's still airborne, another Eunha WS if the first one doesn't stun in one hit, then FK. I don't imagine swapping the order between FK and Goblina would make much of a difference.

You should give the tryhard timings a shot and see if it makes a difference:
Astrals, the EU guild is currently T120. We finished 117 last raid but performance could be way better with some more active raiders. I think we can be T100 if we get 2/3 extra anons with >400 million raid damage.
Has anyone gotten lucky on the gacha balls yet? So far I've managed 3 option change stones, and the rest was literal rubbish. Need them because my sniper goggles has some shit rolls on it that need fixing.
Wave 2 of seasonal achievements have a lot of Kamazone based achievements in them. The next season of Kamazone is Noir themed. I say this because people say it's the easiest to complete with the right set of perks. I've seen a video on youtube where a guy cleared conqueror 3 with only 2000 kama points on it previously. If nothing has changed, this could be taken advantage of for lower leveled players.

Character Reset stones seem to be extremely rare, so I was scared to use them. But I have 3 now, so I don't feel too bad. Will use them on Swimsuit Yuze, who was always just really underwhelming. The stuff you get back is really a lot.

She consistently does about 30%-50% of the damage of all other heroes, in all other team compositions. I tried her in water raid and fricking Ms. Chrom outdamaged her by 50% and she is really bad in raid too and only used as a filler unit.
She fell off until this raid, where White Child uoh's buff makes water melee a decent alternative to ranged water again, and good for double hitting. Depends on how far your weapon investment in the team is though.
Though seeing as she's about to be displaced from fire melee, she's not the WORST option to demote.
I mean, I guess I can still wait, but she's a hero that's great on paper, but when I actually use her I go >Damn, this is horrible
If you're still at the point of running Yuzer and Ms Chrom on the same team in raid, you probably don't have enough units built in general to make the best use of those reset stones tbh

When it comes to MLB, it's only Boobariner, Elvira, Beth and Eunha. The rest are 5* but not MLB (not enough crystals).

I use Ms. Chrom only if I need to fill in for a water team, since I don't have one, I invested in fire and earth coin, also dark coin with Beth, Boobariner and 1CC.
Stick an earth basket on Eunha and you can swap Rosetta for her https://youtu.be/L9nnsggp_Fg?si=Upi42mfA-v2C781Z (Tinia is slightly weaker in the same role, Andras is obviously the best but competitive)
Rosetta is kind of shit after the nerf, so she's an ideal reset if you already filled her with Awakening stones to get a modest return
In general, you're too new to really care that much about raid though. My only other advice right now is to not bother MLBing Chrom since she only shines in Expedition, it's better to focus on characters who perform decently in multiple modes early on.

Are you master or better in colo? No? Build a colo team, how about arena? Why not? It’s much cheaper to invest in these game modes for a much better ROI. You are kneecapping yourself by focusing on end game content.
Git gud at pvp content so you have more resources to spend so you can build your raid army faster.

I love the fact dirt 55 takes a billion weapon skills just to chain with Tinia, Kamael and anyone who's useful. Anyone done it with Parvati? I'm tempted if I can get hp recovery on my relics. Just to try something different. Who did you use? I really don't want to use Kamael at all for this.
Kamael, took a while but it worked. I hear Mayreel is the better one for it.
I can confirm that Mayreel+Kamael is the best strat. Get used to the pattern dodging and make sure to keep Kama alive so he can chip damage and heal you. The tornado encirclement can easily be dodge by walking in a straight line. Also don't be intimidated by the tornado aoe you can easily dodge it by running on the inner edge side of the red area.
The hard part is when there's 3 tornadoes so I'd recommend using starship merch to melt the boss down faster when it's below 50%. def card on Kama and skill damage on Mayreel.
I went with shield on kill cards and it kept msgk pretty safe. I got caught by the tornado group a few times though (hole kept facing directly at the chasing tornado), but managed. Mayreel has her costume now.

For the AI survival Kama needs to hit stuff to heal himself so if he cannot reach the boss in time let him deal with tentacles. It's movement are mainly based on available target and then your proximity.

Ended up clearing Earth 55. Best part, my teaten statue and weapon skill regen on kill cards actually worked. Able to spam ws more often with Mayreel. Thanks for the tips about the tentacles, Kamael never died in the end.
It's stupidly high whatever it is. I think people agree Mayreel is probably your best bet to lead. I tried cheesing it with hp recovery on kill then just go for the tentacles. Problem is, the ai gets done in on Sandy's tornado spamming.
New content is unbelievably slow, just need a couple of units to be competitive un pvp. Anon… the game is really easy if you know what you are doing and you can catch up in no time
i just got done grinding through the first few areas of expeiditon and now i'm stuck grinding against balrock or whatever his name is and its too much of a pain in the ass now to keep doing that every morning waiting until i get enough crystals to 4 star my relics.
I have zero hope of getting any of the season pass rewards as i'm stuck in the 50s for both earth and dark.
i've never got above plat 1 in colosseum and i'm never able to play arena or the multiplayer stuff.
i'm just too old and moronic to learn how to play, its me.
Focus on clearing Balock, the next boss Arachne is easily beaten. I did it with 50% debuffs, there's videos on youtube covering it. Also you get super arcane stones for competing the "beginner" missions as well.
i'm 4k off from maxing the score for the final trial area in 3rd disctrict. But looking at what you said i'm still missing a curio from 2nd distrct and whatever 50k point ???? thing.
i must be missing something because my total score is only 3,876,000 vs the 4,104,000 needed to move on.
I've been using a ms chrom in training but just opened a claude this week, so my plan was to keep grinding maybe get the missing curio and when i've got enough resources boost claude up. idk its so much shit to slog through, i feel like exactly the same when i quit last time.
It's proper end game stuff. I only do it when the boost is on, so it doesn't feel so intimidating. Weapon skill regen cards, a teaten statue and attack on kill cards are what you want. Youtube really helps for the curios.

Balock is a non-issue. Just get a comfy amount of 3-star relics and make sure the mystic resist is high enough. Can’t upgrade to 4 star before beating him anyway. Those same 3 star relics work wonders for pvp content, just get some logical looking stats on the candle sticks and give them 7% pvp damage. You don’t need 4 star stuff to get into high diamond. Things like expo and seasonal are end game stuff. The season rewards are cosmetic and the relics are mostly a non issue if you are not looking to be top 50.
How do you reasonably make a second EX for a character that has the highest base atk? All she needs is a little buff like def break on autos and she's back on meta

all expedition is just a time lock on content as every time there's a 2x boost people do content to upgrade their relics by some amount and then rinse and repeat until you're capped by your own strength/skill

There's probably far better than light melee. If you want to, I'm sure it's Beach Shapira, Kai, Carol and Valencia. Maybe Lapice is somewhere in there?
Light melee is good if you're in a top guild since it improves your flexibility in daily hits a lot. If you're not a switch hitter or your guild is weak enough that it doesn't matter whether you lose a little damage being inefficient, it's not worth gearing up the entire team for that one purpose.

Started off with 15 super arcane stones this boost. With that plus the beginner missions and a couple from gold petal purchases in the shop, I went from 0 to a full set of 5 star relics. Am happy. Last few sweeps have gotten me no 3 star relics which is annoying.
My team was strong enough to steamroller through most of the beginner missions to net the extra stones. Also saved a few gold petals and bought a fair few super arcane stones from the shop. And a little bit of luck with relic drops gave me what I needed to secure a full set of 5 star relics.

Mike is only meta in Japan since they don't have Eunha, she makes melee basic 'decent', but there's no reason to not just go for ranged basic instead

Did you take screenshots of the results screen? The standard techniques are to hit all the switches to spawn more enemies, gather the big orbs as fast as possible to max out the multiplier, and keep switching teams as often as possible. If you neglect some of those things it can really alter your score.

Claude is excellent in all content except PvP. I have maxed all expedition scores up to the ice dragon using him and chrom as leads.

You can't go wrong with Claude, he's really amazing for a ton of stuff. If you love coop defense, the right setup allows him to almost spam his weapon skill non stop.
I stopped playing Arena seriously solely because I feel like I need two more of these shits to get the next tier medal. Also since I still haven't finished a third Mad Panda Statue.

I just enjoyed arena more in general back then and got into t10 a few times by playing 70 matches normally, but now it's kind of pointless and I stop at 1500 if I lose too many times in the first couple days so that t3 seems unattainable

I know fire range sucks bec I forgot I had a fire ranged team until now and I always used my dark team to tackle earth bosses. I only have Lynn+ex though, no Rei/ex.
Fire melee is good, If I had a do over, I'd go ranged. But it's currently Rey, Scintilla, Lilith and either Yuuuz or Winling. If Yuzz, use Plitivice's first ex on her and have Lilith, Rey and Scintilla use their own weapons.

Really? My fire range is Lina, Elvira and last 2 are Andras, ratto, Vish ex2, Clara (no Lucy). I forgot the actual lineup bec ever since my Dark team outdamaged them I never looked to build up my fire team.
Scintilla and Rey do a shit ton of damage. Rey boosts her own attack a shit ton if she successfully counters. I think because ascended Elvira hits like a nuke, it's the only reason ranged is better than melee. Also melee isn't good against stuff like the worm when it starts spinning because you can't hit it.

Yeah if an Elvira team manages to land a full chain twice she just has 20m damage while the other three have like 5m each from my experience. Elvira is just busted at 76-82 where my guild's currently at.

Probably Lynn. Noxia can help with Kamazone because of her stand. Wet Yuzeru is our end game wife and is fun to play with. Also shes great for a lot of melee raid teams. Lynn is only arena stuff. So she probably gives you the least return for the investment.
Summer Yuze. She looks good on paper, but sucks in actual practice. At least when it comes to raid, even on 5* and fully awakened she does 1/3, maybe 1/2 of the damage other girls do.
2 things I want to add. Firstly, 2 5400 gems on scintillas ex. got nothing, so I'm quitting while I'm ahead and secondly, a big frick you to John for no Stella halloween super costume. My anger is maximum right now.

After coming home and calming down, they noticed nothing wrong with them and assumed it was just a prank. Relieved, they decided to pour out the contents of the bag, to admire their loot. But all the candy... transformed into bell peppers! *3 scared emojis*

While I don’t think the game will EoS necessarily, I don’t think it’s that delusional. Objectively this game is pretty old and almost identical to how it was a year ago, 2 years ago etc. Various issues like nonstop pumping out of new literalwho slop heroes compared to older iconic ones, gameplay being too simplistic, claims of focusing on story but still taking a snails pace, useless side activity bloat etc do not help. With all the new games nowadays would one that still won’t let you tap or interact with your characters be able stay relevant?
I think it’s fair to say outside of some basic QOL that should have been there already the game isn’t really getting any better with time. Maybe some people are just frustrated with that.

Same here. I was a bit sad I can only do 3 actions per turn, it feels like this is very little. I just explored and claimed the middle. I think I remember reading a strategy where you rush to the main boss in the middle and then branch out to find the smaller bases, but I'm not sure. I don't know why people hated it, I captured one base and it was honestly pretty fun. But then again, Kong reworked that mode, so maybe it sucked before. I really wish we could do more actions daily though.

Basically, every guilt has an RNG based location for trucks and other buildings, you need to scour the map to find the location of buildings now. You can't just wait for someone stronger to get through and check first and then copy them.

Shapira has a max refine legendary 2hand sword but stat-wise it only pulls slightly ahead of her shovel, not even counting the extra EX bonus, so I've been thinking of biting the bullet and redeeming that too. With that, I believe it's time to work on limit breaking stuff in the melee light team now. I was thinking in order of Kai > Shapira > Valencia > Lapice but I don't know who usually contributes the most in actually well invested melee light teams.
I just found this with a Lapice lead as well. Kai is a good starting pick since he is useful in other modes too. The boss will probably determine who you use as lead anyway.

Melee/ranged def, general def, ele res, and def debuffs using "markers" like Lilith/Kanna are all different kinds and thus stack, yes, that's the whole reason why LG Yuze, Scintilla, Rey, and Lilith were paired together until Wingdings replaced Yuzer
Incidentally, certain types of Chain Skill have a 6th category of unique def drop that can stack, but those are practically irrelevant

While a lot of 3* and even some 2* items are part of collections, many aren't. Just click on the blue book icon in the inventory menu to see if they belong to a collection or not. Spending all those resources to lvl 60 everything is crazy and could be going into meme metals instead.

Ehhhh, depends what mode you want to play on, I guess. But since it's extremely F2P friendly, I would overall say: No. Especially the story mode, you can pretty much play on your own terms and breeze through it until W10 or so.
Eunha really doesn't do much damage for me and I got her MLB and everything.
For me, I will 100% roll for Mike. I have no idea what her kit does, but (s)he is ultra cute.

Scintilla is ideal for fire melee raid. She's a skip if you intend to use fire ranged for raid. Ranged may be better because you won't need to get really close to the bosses to hit them.
I reached another small milestone, a hero (Beth) has over 200,000 ATK.
But this also scares me a lot. She is becoming too powerful. What if she gets drunk one night, as usual, but loses control over herself this time. She could easily beat me senseless. She could easily rape me.
Knight was used as a filler for ranged basic raid. I believe most only max out knight because they will surely get an asension one day. If I were you, I'd invest in other characters. Claude, Chrom, Andras, Kamael, Beth, Karina, Craig, Miya and Future Princess are all considered really good characters. So put them above Knight, unless you really love that character.
I pulled for Lapice because I got both of her EXs and she looks really cute in a "bratty princess" sort of way. Got her on my 2nd 10-pull. Is she any good? Her passive only boosts light damage, so I assume she works best in a mono light team? Which EX to use?
The closed parasol is kind of shit all around, it has some extremely niche uses, but nothing you'll realistically care about
The open parasol changes her passive to melee damage as well as her moveset, and it sort of saves her from being doomed to powercreep as the first SSR in the game by making her raid material and ok in Arena. She's not outstanding in Arena, but she's not totally useless if you like her enough.

Claude and Chrom carry Expedition mode. Chrom with Sohee's magiton buster clears out huge waves of enemies. Ideal for Coop defense and fricking up people behind walls. Get Beth first if you don't have her, then roll on the weapon banners. Bare in mind, most here agree its even more of a scam than rolling for heroes themselves.
Odile, Chrom, Priscilla, Beth-sama and Clara. Outside of arena and maybe Kamazone, Odile is not worth it. Beth and Chrom take priority if you have neither of these. Chrom is amazing for expedition mode and Beth is our overpowered end game wife.
Not honestly that meaningful to reroll to progress the story, beside maybe if Kamael, Beth or Claude are on the banner. The game give out quite a lot of gems, and there's the mileage ticket, so given enough time, you'd be able to build the teams you want. You're gonna be focusing on the story at the beginning, so you'll be enough to save up on rolls.
As for the team, it's gonna depend on what you're focusing on, if you join a try-hard guild, then you should go towards the raid meta, and build on team at a time.

So far I've used up Eunha, Claude, Karina and Kamael in other teams, so they're out.
I've seen Garam + FK + Vinette I forgot who as last, but the basic idea is to stun Balloc before he can start the fire spiral, then chain him down with other units a bit after the stun timer to stop his charge that traps the others.

Parvati is colo, Miya is Kamazone, Boss Rush and Story for her healing, Rue is dirt melee not great since ranged dirt is far better, White snow I haven't seen anyone use since his release, Bishu is fire ranged with 2nd ex and 1st is Arena, Erina might be great in Colo since 99% of the fanbase main mono light there.
TLDR- In order, Miya, Vish/Parvati, Erina and don't bother with the rest.

I recommend using Garam/Vero/Orca/Andras for team 1 and LGYuze lead melee meme team for team 2. You full chain with team 1, swap to team 2 and full chain, then back and full chain. If you do it right you'll have Balock at around 20% which should be doable. There is a problem where he gains CC immunity when he goes down to around 70%-60% HP so you should start your chain after that.

I think cups are used more everywhere. At 5* they give 10% crit chance which is substantial, you can't really go wrong with either.

After I completed the OG pokedex I was just collecting farm coins, but since they announced the farm expansion I started cycling a max pet in the tenth slot for tokens too. At least now releasing a pet gives seeds while I farm the new dex.

I did 4 multis on android mk99 banner, and on the third multi I got a unique. But unlike in other gachas, there's a ceremony to decide which unique you get? First time I got chosen one archpriestess veronica, and mk99 wasn't among the 5 there. Then the multi after I actually got mk99, is that super lucky or some kind of pity system? Also, Rachel is HOT. How is the game doing btw? Think it's gonna stick around for a few more years, or is it not doing well?
When pulling a 3* unit, the thing they do on the stage is just for show. Whatever char you pull for is already set when you see the white box. You can see silhouette of other characters and get excited I suppose.
There's no guaranteed pull pity system in GT like in most gachas, you got pretty lucky. What we have is a mileage system. One pull on character or weapon banner = one mileage ticket, and you can trade 300 tickets for a 3* unit or their EX weapon. Tickets don't expire and you can hoard them for future units/weapons if you want. Conventional wisdom is to spend jims/summon controllers for units exclusively and use mileage on weapons since weapon can be atrocious.
Rachel is neat, yes. With any luck she might get an ascension and get a huge power boost in the near future. There's been one 2* of each element that got an ascension except for water and basic.

You're lucky, there's plenty of stuff for you to do. We're only in /vmg/ because the old director pretty much forced our hand. Claude, Chrom and Yuzu-sama carry expedition. You really need to get Claude. The general rule is, don't mileage heroes, but I would make an exception with Claude, he is brilliant. His weapon skill range is huge so I don't think you'll find a decent replacement.

Both him and hear deal the same type of stagger type (airborne) so it barely matters, the only reason you'd swap Ameris out of lead is if you need a really specific timing on the WS and stagger to avoid some annoying move the boss does that delaying chains won't fix.

Relic with hp recovery, defense cards, chainsaw + Future Knight can do it. If not Chrom is a god for this. I didn't have her, so I ended up switching between Erina and FK until I got it. HP recovery relic lets you enter the next part with full hp, if you dodge the lasers and heal up to max before killing.

We don't know. For her to be, the Rey, Scintilla, Lilith and Yuzuu team needs a rework. I don't think she will be unless we can find someone else to replace both Lilith and Yuze. If 50% fire is the issue. Lilith has defense down, and Yuuz is a skill buffer, so they're very hard to replace. And it won't be Scintilla because she's insanely powerful, and it won't be Rey because she can buff herself, self heal and has crit damage on top.
She replaces Yuzu and brings fire melee to about dark team level, so yeah. Elvira is still better at lower levels naturally, but if your guild is on the stronger side, she's invaluable. Plus there are bosses Elvira isn't as strong against like Erina.

I was farming District 8 4th trial with 55% drop rate until I was able to upgrade to the third epic chalice I needed to beat the 6th trial and unlock the boss earlier today. I cleared that and barely survived District 9 1st trial to claim the mission stones and made the fourth epic chalice I needed. Now I guess I'll grind District 8 6th trial with 50% drop rate for a long while. I know I'll eventually have to respec my relics into Boss/PVP damage.

Just tried Kamazone conqueror 3, with 1 curse + penance and good (not great) artifacts and managed to get to the end of floor 5 (dying to the boss) Is conqueror 3 doable for me? Putting in both means one of them won't be getting any benefits from the rest of the team (unless you are running some weird +% dark damage team that is suboptimal anyway), and that can be several millions worth of damage.
I swear 1CC fricking sucks. She hits like a wet noodle for only a 10% DEF down increase over Lilith, who deals respectable damage. I want my 300 meme metal for her EX and all the awakening stones and coffee back.
Defense down is brutal. Try using Nari on a mono dark team for example, it will do a shit ton of damage. Future Knights defense shred has kicked Lahn out of basic raid, it's that good.
Lahn seems to still be better on earlier stages when boss defense isn't too oppressive yet. Kind of annoying, really. I'd love to repurpose her awakening stones for other units.

How did you chain? I've seen people use Nari, Kanna then Knight. Recharge and go for Eunha's. Maybe its down to how you chain?
Nari, Kanna, Eunha, Eunha WS while it's still airborne, another Eunha WS if the first one doesn't stun in one hit, then FK. I don't imagine swapping the order between FK and Goblina would make much of a difference.

Wave 2 of seasonal achievements have a lot of Kamazone based achievements in them. The next season of Kamazone is Noir themed. I say this because people say it's the easiest to complete with the right set of perks. I've seen a video on youtube where a guy cleared conqueror 3 with only 2000 kama points on it previously. If nothing has changed, this could be taken advantage of for lower leveled players.

Character Reset stones seem to be extremely rare, so I was scared to use them. But I have 3 now, so I don't feel too bad. Will use them on Swimsuit Yuze, who was always just really underwhelming. The stuff you get back is really a lot.

I use Ms. Chrom only if I need to fill in for a water team, since I don't have one, I invested in fire and earth coin, also dark coin with Beth, Boobariner and 1CC.

Rosetta is kind of shit after the nerf, so she's an ideal reset if you already filled her with Awakening stones to get a modest return
In general, you're too new to really care that much about raid though. My only other advice right now is to not bother MLBing Chrom since she only shines in Expedition, it's better to focus on characters who perform decently in multiple modes early on.

She fell off until this raid, where White Child uoh's buff makes water melee a decent alternative to ranged water again, and good for double hitting. Depends on how far your weapon investment in the team is though.
Though seeing as she's about to be displaced from fire melee, she's not the WORST option to demote.

I love the fact dirt 55 takes a billion weapon skills just to chain with Tinia, Kamael and anyone who's useful. Anyone done it with Parvati? I'm tempted if I can get hp recovery on my relics. Just to try something different. Who did you use? I really don't want to use Kamael at all for this.
Kamael, took a while but it worked. I hear Mayreel is the better one for it.
I can confirm that Mayreel+Kamael is the best strat. Get used to the pattern dodging and make sure to keep Kama alive so he can chip damage and heal you. The tornado encirclement can easily be dodge by walking in a straight line. Also don't be intimidated by the tornado aoe you can easily dodge it by running on the inner edge side of the red area.
The hard part is when there's 3 tornadoes so I'd recommend using starship merch to melt the boss down faster when it's below 50%. def card on Kama and skill damage on Mayreel.
I went with shield on kill cards and it kept msgk pretty safe. I got caught by the tornado group a few times though (hole kept facing directly at the chasing tornado), but managed. Mayreel has her costume now.
I'm trying with hp recovery on kills and a relic that recovers hp. The only issue is keeping Kamael alive. How did you do it? I've started timing my chain for when Sandy starts the tornado spam. Is there anything else, or is it pure luck as to ai surviving?

For the AI survival Kama needs to hit stuff to heal himself so if he cannot reach the boss in time let him deal with tentacles. It's movement are mainly based on available target and then your proximity.

Ended up clearing Earth 55. Best part, my teaten statue and weapon skill regen on kill cards actually worked. Able to spam ws more often with Mayreel. Thanks for the tips about the tentacles, Kamael never died in the end.

Focus on clearing Balock, the next boss Arachne is easily beaten. I did it with 50% debuffs, there's videos on youtube covering it. Also you get super arcane stones for competing the "beginner" missions as well.

I've been using a ms chrom in training but just opened a claude this week, so my plan was to keep grinding maybe get the missing curio and when i've got enough resources boost claude up. idk its so much shit to slog through, i feel like exactly the same when i quit last time.
It's proper end game stuff. I only do it when the boost is on, so it doesn't feel so intimidating. Weapon skill regen cards, a teaten statue and attack on kill cards are what you want. Youtube really helps for the curios.

Balock is a non-issue. Just get a comfy amount of 3-star relics and make sure the mystic resist is high enough. Can’t upgrade to 4 star before beating him anyway. Those same 3 star relics work wonders for pvp content, just get some logical looking stats on the candle sticks and give them 7% pvp damage. You don’t need 4 star stuff to get into high diamond. Things like expo and seasonal are end game stuff. The season rewards are cosmetic and the relics are mostly a non issue if you are not looking to be top 50.

There's probably far better than light melee. If you want to, I'm sure it's Beach Shapira, Kai, Carol and Valencia. Maybe Lapice is somewhere in there?
It's Lapice2 instead of Carol. You fit more damage in there because you're getting a free crit% PB from Lapice2's passive.
Light melee is good if you're in a top guild since it improves your flexibility in daily hits a lot. If you're not a switch hitter or your guild is weak enough that it doesn't matter whether you lose a little damage being inefficient, it's not worth gearing up the entire team for that one purpose.

Started off with 15 super arcane stones this boost. With that plus the beginner missions and a couple from gold petal purchases in the shop, I went from 0 to a full set of 5 star relics. Am happy. Last few sweeps have gotten me no 3 star relics which is annoying.
How in the frick did you get enough for 5 new relics? I could barely get enough for 2.

Oh, I thought this was about running expo without any rewards/gold petals left. It's fricking misery getting the last few required on my end since I have nothing else but breakable relics to try and get a new upgrade.
I did miss the last expedition boost, so the intention was to go all in on this. I've even bought the daily 100 gem coffee refills for this.
My team was strong enough to steamroller through most of the beginner missions to net the extra stones. Also saved a few gold petals and bought a fair few super arcane stones from the shop. And a little bit of luck with relic drops gave me what I needed to secure a full set of 5 star relics.
Mike is only meta in Japan since they don't have Eunha, she makes melee basic 'decent', but there's no reason to not just go for ranged basic instead
Tiananmen Square replaces Yuze and brings fire melee about on par with meta dark teams, so yes she's meta

I managed to upgrade 2 relics to 5*, need 5 more to upgrade a third one to fight the ice dragon, but I am sure I won't get enough this run.
I managed to upgrade three 4* cups to 5*, and one candle to 4* (short 6 arcane stones). I now have a set of 5* books and cups at least.
Today I was able to upgrade that candle to 5*. Looks like I'll be able to use 9th District Trial 1 to grind next x2 boost.

Did you take screenshots of the results screen? The standard techniques are to hit all the switches to spawn more enemies, gather the big orbs as fast as possible to max out the multiplier, and keep switching teams as often as possible. If you neglect some of those things it can really alter your score.

You can't go wrong with Claude, he's really amazing for a ton of stuff. If you love coop defense, the right setup allows him to almost spam his weapon skill non stop.

I know fire range sucks bec I forgot I had a fire ranged team until now and I always used my dark team to tackle earth bosses. I only have Lynn+ex though, no Rei/ex.
Fire melee is good, If I had a do over, I'd go ranged. But it's currently Rey, Scintilla, Lilith and either Yuuuz or Winling. If Yuzz, use Plitivice's first ex on her and have Lilith, Rey and Scintilla use their own weapons.

Really? My fire range is Lina, Elvira and last 2 are Andras, ratto, Vish ex2, Clara (no Lucy). I forgot the actual lineup bec ever since my Dark team outdamaged them I never looked to build up my fire team.
Scintilla and Rey do a shit ton of damage. Rey boosts her own attack a shit ton if she successfully counters. I think because ascended Elvira hits like a nuke, it's the only reason ranged is better than melee. Also melee isn't good against stuff like the worm when it starts spinning because you can't hit it.

Yeah if an Elvira team manages to land a full chain twice she just has 20m damage while the other three have like 5m each from my experience. Elvira is just busted at 76-82 where my guild's currently at.

Probably Lynn. Noxia can help with Kamazone because of her stand. Wet Yuzeru is our end game wife and is fun to play with. Also shes great for a lot of melee raid teams. Lynn is only arena stuff. So she probably gives you the least return for the investment.
Summer Yuze. She looks good on paper, but sucks in actual practice. At least when it comes to raid, even on 5* and fully awakened she does 1/3, maybe 1/2 of the damage other girls do.
Lynn's the most irrelevant nowadays, she's only used in Arena.
2 things I want to add. Firstly, 2 5400 gems on scintillas ex. got nothing, so I'm quitting while I'm ahead and secondly, a big frick you to John for no Stella halloween super costume. My anger is maximum right now.

Objectively this game is pretty old and almost identical to how it was a year ago, 2 years ago etc. Various issues like nonstop pumping out of new literalwho slop heroes compared to older iconic ones, gameplay being too simplistic, claims of focusing on story but still taking a snails pace, useless side activity bloat etc do not help. With all the new games nowadays would one that still won’t let you tap or interact with your characters be able stay relevant?

Same here. I was a bit sad I can only do 3 actions per turn, it feels like this is very little. I just explored and claimed the middle. I think I remember reading a strategy where you rush to the main boss in the middle and then branch out to find the smaller bases, but I'm not sure. I don't know why people hated it, I captured one base and it was honestly pretty fun. But then again, Kong reworked that mode, so maybe it sucked before. I really wish we could do more actions daily though.

Shapira has a max refine legendary 2hand sword but stat-wise it only pulls slightly ahead of her shovel, not even counting the extra EX bonus, so I've been thinking of biting the bullet and redeeming that too. With that, I believe it's time to work on limit breaking stuff in the melee light team now. I was thinking in order of Kai > Shapira > Valencia > Lapice but I don't know who usually contributes the most in actually well invested melee light teams.
The damage breakdown for light melee from highest to lowest is: Kai(lead), B.Shapira, Lapice, then Valencia. Kai/B.Shap switch places if leader.
Kai first for sure, then. I'll need to be frugal after that since Chinchilla is like 2/3rds done with the gulags.
I just found this with a Lapice lead as well. Kai is a good starting pick since he is useful in other modes too. The boss will probably determine who you use as lead anyway.

Melee/ranged def, general def, ele res, and def debuffs using "markers" like Lilith/Kanna are all different kinds and thus stack, yes, that's the whole reason why LG Yuze, Scintilla, Rey, and Lilith were paired together until Wingdings replaced Yuzer
Incidentally, certain types of Chain Skill have a 6th category of unique def drop that can stack, but those are practically irrelevant

While a lot of 3* and even some 2* items are part of collections, many aren't. Just click on the blue book icon in the inventory menu to see if they belong to a collection or not. Spending all those resources to lvl 60 everything is crazy and could be going into meme metals instead.

Ehhhh, depends what mode you want to play on, I guess. But since it's extremely F2P friendly, I would overall say: No. Especially the story mode, you can pretty much play on your own terms and breeze through it until W10 or so.

Scintilla is ideal for fire melee raid. She's a skip if you intend to use fire ranged for raid. Ranged may be better because you won't need to get really close to the bosses to hit them.
I reached another small milestone, a hero (Beth) has over 200,000 ATK.
But this also scares me a lot. She is becoming too powerful. What if she gets drunk one night, as usual, but loses control over herself this time. She could easily beat me senseless. She could easily rape me.

Knight was used as a filler for ranged basic raid. I believe most only max out knight because they will surely get an asension one day. If I were you, I'd invest in other characters. Claude, Chrom, Andras, Kamael, Beth, Karina, Craig, Miya and Future Princess are all considered really good characters. So put them above Knight, unless you really love that character.

I pulled for Lapice because I got both of her EXs and she looks really cute in a "bratty princess" sort of way. Got her on my 2nd 10-pull. Is she any good? Her passive only boosts light damage, so I assume she works best in a mono light team? Which EX to use?
The closed parasol is kind of shit all around, it has some extremely niche uses, but nothing you'll realistically care about
The open parasol changes her passive to melee damage as well as her moveset, and it sort of saves her from being doomed to powercreep as the first SSR in the game by making her raid material and ok in Arena. She's not outstanding in Arena, but she's not totally useless if you like her enough.
I would say don't even bother until you have all the pieces to put together a raid/boss rush team, you don't need a full fire team anywhere else

Claude and Chrom carry Expedition mode. Chrom with Sohee's magiton buster clears out huge waves of enemies. Ideal for Coop defense and fricking up people behind walls. Get Beth first if you don't have her, then roll on the weapon banners. Bare in mind, most here agree its even more of a scam than rolling for heroes themselves.

Odile, Chrom, Priscilla, Beth-sama and Clara. Outside of arena and maybe Kamazone, Odile is not worth it. Beth and Chrom take priority if you have neither of these. Chrom is amazing for expedition mode and Beth is our overpowered end game wife.

Not honestly that meaningful to reroll to progress the story, beside maybe if Kamael, Beth or Claude are on the banner. The game give out quite a lot of gems, and there's the mileage ticket, so given enough time, you'd be able to build the teams you want. You're gonna be focusing on the story at the beginning, so you'll be enough to save up on rolls.
As for the team, it's gonna depend on what you're focusing on, if you join a try-hard guild, then you should go towards the raid meta, and build on team at a time.
Or you could just get Lahn.
