This. Its not incredible and I ran into some bugs when I played it, wish there was more meat to the gameplay.
But the party bantz were pretty good and wandering around the ship between missions was comfy. Reminded me of mass effect in that regards.
The story was also surprisingly solid and I had a few legit moments where I felt something.
Starlord's mom's dumptruck ass in 80's high waisted mom jeans is the real star of the show though.

Wasn't their choice. They weren't owned by Square Enix at the time. Now they are and with the announcement of that transfer it was said Eidos wanted to work on Deus Ex or Thief again. There's a good chance we could see an announcement by the end of the year unless SE are being c**ts. We all want more Eidos Deus Ex. They did a pretty damn good job picking up the pieces where the originals left off. Obviously it's not the same, but they did a good job. One of my favorite series to date. I really hope something good comes out of it.
Best capeshit game of the last few years. Great story. Isn't long and bloated and while combat isn't that great it gets out of the way pretty easily.
It will be a very long time before Eidos Montreal works on their own projects again because they are working as a support studio for Microsoft at the minute (So far job listings have suggested they are helping on Fable and Perfect Dark). Speculation is Microsoft will likely buy them and Crystal Dynamics off Embracer at some point this year or next year depending on how bad the financial situation at Embracer is. Will be a very, very long time before they get back to Deus Ex.
It's a really good game, but pirate it instead. You're not missing out on anything by doing so, there are no online features.
Probably a lot smaller filesize too since the pirated version will cut out the useless language files.

This game was actually pretty good, great, even, for capeshit, up until the last 30 minutes, then it just shat the bed. What the actual frick, it's like all the writers just quit and they had to wrap everything up quickly to finish the game.Basically after they defeat Raker everything after that felt like a different game altogether, the animation felt choppy and the writing felt dumber, the whole walk of pride with everyone dancing next to them and all of their "friends" showing up to tell them how amazing they are, I thought for sure we're gonna discover that it's another promise in Peter's head or something because it was so cheesy and too good to be true type of scene that i was shocked that it wasn't. And Nikki is completely ignored even tho she was the driving force of the whole adventure. She has firey red hair now, no one gonna talk about that? what exactly is she now? like, zero acknowledgment to what she's been through and she just laughs it off as if people haven't died because of her. Complete and utter disappointment, what an absolute letdown.

That's a big "if". Epic releases yearly recaps and the last one showed that the average monthly-active user spends $5 per year or so on 3rd party games.

I think it's very funny how disrespectful the team is towards Quill.
