Guild Wars 2 adds inspet cosmetics button on players and the userbase goes apeshit

>they go as far to call it stalking
>some autists spend hours making their character look pretty and they feel cheated

it took us a decade but we finally reached the ultimate autism point of "omg someone clicked one me im being raped"
How far down can we go past this point?

It's one step away from inspecting actual gear which will light a wildfire of raid-oh, excuse me, strike autism

this is not what people are talking about at all, they are asking to get GOLD TIPS FOR BEING INSPECTED and a function to opt out of it because they consider it DANGEROUS

      the absolute fricking mental insanity

Does this mean I could re-install this game and go into a major city and laugh at someone sperging out after I inspect them?

pretty sure you can do this on old school runescape already. how unhinged do you have to be to be upset by this?

      >how unhinged do you have to be to be upset by this?
      they're GW2 players
you'd have to be to still play that shit

fashion trannies and actual women, so most of the gw2 userbase
think about the different reaction a man and a woman have when going to a party and finding a person dressed basically the same way as them. the guy will find it funny or cool and maybe chat with the other guy and have a laugh over it. the woman will have a hysterical fit because she's not unique anymore and her evening is ruined and she wants the other woman dead

doesn't sound unreasonable to want to be able to opt out.

People love getting (yous), likes, or recognition. To these insane creatures who have invested too much time and money into this, its a negative reaction for someone to steal their style. They arent normal people creating a cool looking character, they are obsessed and to them it feels like they are artists and you just plagiarized them. Its sad really, fun gameplay should take priority. These people are really sad where they just have to attract attention in a dead MMO by trying to look unique.

As a fellow fashion wars 2 player, this outcry is ridiculous. These people are crazy.

Didn't WoW have an option to disable people from inspecting you? GW2 could do the same thing. People that want to let people see their gear can leave it on. People that don't want to share can turn it off.

Not surprised, XIV trannies sometimes install mods so that they know when you clicked on them

I feel like that’s particularly a holdover from the days of FFXI too, where you’d get a message that “___ inspects you” and even though you could turn it off you’d get a ton of autists throwing raging fits that people were “peeking at their character” or some bullshit.

I was just clicking around the screen when some gaylord asks me "why you clicking on me, huh?" "what are you looking at" "why did you click on me"

If you think this is sad, go talk to some of the original guild wars player base. There's something about guild wars that attracts serious fricking losers to the game.

the "fashion" in gw2 is dog shit. I cant imagine why any would care or even try to look good in that game. its impossible.

I wish the current Guild Wars 2 community would die miserable deaths. I don't want them in Guild Wars 3. Especially if GW3 is a return to form to the first game.

Reminds me of that Ff14 screenshot of some moron asking someone to change their character because it looked too similar to theirs and they spend so much time customizing their look they were not allowed to copy her

Jesus, these troons seem to forget there are galleries of all the armor and appearances online, it just takes a little less effort now to figure out what they were wearing, but was always possible.

People complain more about dyes than gear because Mabi actually has color hex dying.
