Zagreus was already underneath the barrel, but they've still got half of the twelve Olympians to go through before they even have to consider more obscure gods like Asclepius and Eris.
>Nemesis, Apollo, and Hecate seen in trailer >Eris and Hestia have weapon aspects in the first game even >Other notable Greek gods they might use without reusing any from the previous game: Pan, Hephaestus, Prometheus, Atlas, Gaia
to be fair i think the bit about reusing chaos is probably because a lot of people like the chaos mechanic. they'll either still have them or find some other twist on the idea
But those are the best parts. >In Greek mythology Alcmene was the wife of Amphitryon. She was the mother of Herakles by Zeus, who bedded her by disguising himself as her absent husband.
>In Greek legend Clytemnestra was the wife of Agamemnon and the mother of Orestes and Electra. While her husband was away during the Trojan War she took a lover, and upon his return she had him murdered. She was subsequently killed by Orestes.
>In Greek mythology Danaë was the daughter of the Argive king Acrisius. It had been prophesized to her father that he would one day be killed by Danaë's son, so he attempted to keep his daughter childless. However, Zeus came to her in the form of a shower of gold, and she became the mother of Perseus. Eventually the prophecy was fulfilled and Perseus killed Acrisius, albeit accidentally.
>Jocasta; Latinized form of Greek Ιοκαστη (Iokaste), which is of unknown meaning. In Greek mythology she was the mother Oedipus by the Theban king Laius. In a case of tragic mistaken identity, she married her own son.
>In Greek legend Nephele was created from a cloud by Zeus, who shaped the cloud to look like Hera in order to trick Ixion, a mortal who desired her. Nephele was the mother of the centaurs by Ixion, and was also the mother of Phrixus and Helle by Athamus.
I swear Greek Mythology is just like all the eroge I play.
Kind of leaves me thinking that modern day eroge would be an absolute hit with ancient Greece.
Nah, theres plenty of greek gods and legendary figures to take. Most hardcore would probably be Attis. God of fertility and self-castration. His worshippers used to dance around in a fire, cut and mutilate their own bodies, cut their own dicks off and throw them in the pyre in a vow of extreme celibacy.
That's not a contradiction. She helped her mom deliver Apollo after she was born first. Childbirth as in helping someone give birth, not giving birth herself.
If you don't think we're still gonna get all the gods from the first game in this one you're sorely mistaken
Because if they don't they'd be fricking moronic. The biggest thing the first game lacked was significant variety of builds etc. Including all gods from the first game and introducing a bunch more new ones is definitely a step in the right direction. >inb4 b-but the first one has plenty of variety
I have 300+ hours in hades and I can tell you right now the "meme" builds are streamer bait and you're too shit to do anything but only pick the good boons every run.
Outside of boons, I hope they add more bosses. Every run being the same bosses gets boring as shit. Having 2-3 possible bosses per section of the game would add so much variety.
yeah, I'm guessing we're getting all the old Olympians + Apollo and maybe Hera and some of the minor gods as well. maybe we'll even get Zag to offer his sister some boons
thank you my Black person, my thoughts exactly.
i didn´t even need 300hrs to realize that the variety in boons or power ups generally is lacking for a lot of different builds.
the same thing which applies to bosses applies to regular enemies aswell.
give the levels more different enemy types. we had like 4-6 per biome/stage.
4 different maps is a joke by itself, you should now how at least twice the amout if they decide to go for hades 2.
they need to take all of the shit from the first and expand it, i really pray that they don´t plan on reducing it or keeping it similar.
but i expect a cash grab so i´ll pirate first for sure.
yeah, my only complaint with hades was the lack of variety which meant there was little replay value.
if they can deliver on that front this time, it'll be a wonderful game.
while more breadth is welcomed, more depth is badly needed as well. Very few of the boons had any interaction, to the point that there's an entire subset of them dedicated to boon pairing just to incentivize it. Think how fricking bland the entire game would be if there weren't duo boons, and realize that they're the lynchpin to most any actual fun mechanics in the game.
oh yeah, I forgot to mention
the weapon variations are so minimally different outside of the secret ones, and even then you had some that were overall worse or just unfun to play (guan yu comes to mind)

this as well. let's not forget that only around 10% of boons and duo boons were really useful, and the rest were basically just middle fingers to your run or memes. A roguelike honestly needs you to be able to complete a run no matter what hand you're dealt, and hades just sometimes had runs that just would frick you in the ass.
>A roguelike honestly needs you to be able to complete a run no matter what hand you're dealt
I don't think I necessarily agree with this, but even if I did you can complete Hades with pretty much any boon combination since people have done it with no boons at all. That said, you can manipulate the boons significantly enough that it's almost impossible to get a completely useless collection of boons in any given run after a bit of upgrading. Part of the rush of the game is when RNGsus blesses you with an incredible run and you melt everything.
>people have managed to do it with no boons at all
challenge runners are not indicative of the average person. The average person is not doing no boon runs and you shouldn't compare a speedrunner or challenge runner's skill to the average person.
Even though you can manipulate boons etc. You shouldn't have to do so in order to get a good run in, provided you have enough mechanical experience with the game. Good roguelikes understand this and most good roguelikes might have a few items that are useless but the grand majority of items are useful. Hades just has a lot of boons that are not worth taking unless you're running a meme build or you're some leet challenge runner. Mind you most challenge runners that have done meme builds with useless boons have also struggled to complete runs or have taken several tries to actually do so. Some, even only do such runs on the game's easiest level of difficulty.
The devs have been decent at buffing boons but there hasn't been enough.
I think this is how their placeholders look this time
Pandora of course will get more detailed art on the future but their base has been great so far
Making Pandora a bratty b***h is perfect
No, you can see that the figure at the end being cuffed is Hades. Im gonna assume that Chronos revived and took over the underworld and enslaved him. So Melinoe has to save him
The mythology isn’t exactly clear, she’s usually said to be Zeus and Persephone’s daughter, but the Orphic tradition she’s from often identified Zeus and Hades as the same (or two aspects of the same) god.
The mythology isn’t exactly clear, she’s usually said to be Zeus and Persephone’s daughter, but the Orphic tradition she’s from often identified Zeus and Hades as the same (or two aspects of the same) god.
Melly is Zeus vis Persephone in some tellings and Hades in others.
If we assume it's a direct sequel, which seems logical, she is probably Zagreus' little sister since the whole conceit of the first game was Peresephone and Hades split up after Zagreus "died" as a baby. IIRC didn't Hades do something dire to get Zagreus back, or was it handwaved as Zagreus dual nature being fricky?
They are using the loopholes of greek mythology to define their own stuff. Because Zeus and Hades in early myths were used interchangeably. The same occurred with Hecate and Melinoe.
those are extracts from Hades and Melinoe's wiki pages:
>Both Hades and Dionysus were associated with a divine tripartite deity with Zeus.[95] The Orphics in particular believed that Zeus and Hades were the same deity and portrayed them as such.[96][97] Zeus was portrayed as having an incarnation in the underworld identifying him as literally being Hades and leading to Zeus and Hades essentially being two representations and different facets of the same god and extended divine power.[98][99] This nature and aspect of Hades and Zeus displayed in the Orphic stories is the explanation for why both Hades and Zeus are considered to be the father of Melinoë and Zagreus.
>In the hymn, Melinoë has characteristics that seem similar to Hecate and the Erinyes,[3] and the name is sometimes thought to be an epithet of Hecate.
*An epithet (from Ancient Greek ἐπίθετον (epítheton) 'adjective', from ἐπίθετος (epíthetos) 'additional'),[1] also byname, is a descriptive term (word or phrase) known for accompanying or occurring in place of a name and having entered common usage.
tldr
Yes anon we all see how knowledgable you are of greek mythology, very good now lets continue talking about Supergiant's Hades

I'm not showing my e-penis here, I just googled it yesterday when it was shown that the protag would be a daughter of Hades.
You assuming I wanna brag about "knowledge" or anything on Ganker says more about you than about me.
how is this not related to the game if we are conjecturing about how the gods will be used in supergiant's lore?
The fact that Melinoe is an epithet of Hecate shows that the latter will be important to the story of the game and supergiant lore.
Is anyone else kinda disappointed they're making a sequel instead of a new IP? I dunno, the more I think about it the more upset I get. It's not like I didn't like Hades either, I think it's really fun like their other games. Just wish they kept doing something new instead.
i'm fine with it since hades is one of my favourite games. it is a break from their usual policy of going with a fresh idea every time but i'm sure there'll be others explored in the future, they just decided this was the best thing to work on right now
Yes, but then I remember that Hades was my personal GOTY and in my top 5 games of all time so I forget how moronic I am for wanting a new IP. You should do the same

What I really like about their games is that they're all very different from one another but they're all, at the very least, solid experiences, that they can take these interesting ideas and make something completely different from their last title and still end up making something good and fun, so the fact that they're next game is just "more Hades" is kinda lame to me, even if Hades was great. I'm sure it will still be good, but I dunno it feels like they're going the "Hades was a huge success so let's just make more Hades" route. I at least hope they shake up the formula a bit.
Sure but considering they are doing the same community feedback that made the first game so good im confident they can pull something interesting once again
And if it doesnt work out what gives? they can move on to a new IP. Not every studio has to have a perfect record, nor its healthy
not the quoted dude here.
I do like hades and I'm happy we are getting a sequel.
but even if someone was holding a gun to their heads, forcing them to make a sequel, why Hades II?
Bastion would benefit a lot more from their gathered experience with all those releases. they always use the same engine right? Bastion is their older game and it fundaments their whole style of isometric view mode and action based on a bunch of different weapons, not to mention that it's their IP, completely original.
Hades II is the safest, most boring decision, and the game that will benefit the least from their experience; couldn't this be a DLC?
>couldn't this be a DLC?
Same reason why Silksong isnt DLC. If they can capitalize on the success, and making people that wanted more Hades happy why wouldnt they do it?
From a buisness standpoint is the best bet >b-but they should take risks and...
Thats how indie games go bankrupt
Not to mention, I don’t think Supergiant has ever done DLC.
They sell a complete package and move on to the next project.

>They sell a complete package and move on to the next project.
Did hades have any content updates after 1.0? I genuinely can't remember.
It's good that the 1.0 release is all but guaranteed to actually be a properly fleshed out and feature complete game. Tons and tons of Early Access games are still sorely incomplete even if they decide to slap a 1.0 on it.
But Supergiant appear to take their 1.0 release very seriously. Which probably benefitted them plenty since I doubt the huge spike in sales and media attention would have been anything but had the 1.0 release still felt lacking.
But it does kind of suck that we probably have to wait until 2024 for Hades II to leave Early Access then. Having to avoid it for a full year.
Hades itself was risky. if indie devs can't risk, nobody can. and again, if they can't risk, we should be getting Bastion V now, not 3 or 4 new IPs from Supergiant.
I didn't even say they should only make new IPs but if it's mister to make a sequel, any of their other IPs would benefit more from it right now.
But on the other hand, if this game's profit ends up securing more games from them, it's fine too.
Nonetheless, I think this may feel like a DLC.

Hades was the jackpot for Supergiant. Before it they risked it all for new IPs, but capitalizing now in the immense success of Hades is the best financial decision anon, its really not that hard to understand.
yes i get it youre upset they arent making a new ip, but already doomsaying that it might suck with baseless arguments and considering their track record only outs you as ignorant
>why Hades II?
Because Hades, for all its excellence, was fairly sparse from a content perspective. Things like the incomplete pantheon, the lack of boss variety, the lack of alternate completion goals, etc made the rougelite aspect of the game feel sparse. The replayability of the game came from its fricking huge amount of voice lines and narrative, and that the gameplay loop was really strong. Most of my complaints could have been addressed by DLC for Hades, but a sequel isn't bad, especially if they're adding completely novel systems like whatever 'Magick' will be.
As for games like Bastion and Pyre, they're older games they may be obsoleted in someways but they're still complete experiences, of all of supergiants games I think that Hades is actually the one that needed extra work the most.
Hades 2 sat at the top of the Switch digital chart in the eShop for months, and it hits the top every time it goes on sale. I would fricking love more Bastion as well, but I completely understand why they chose Hades. I just hope the experience of making a sequel goes well enough that they reconsider it as a viable option going forward.
>Is anyone else kinda disappointed they're making a sequel instead of a new IP?
I kind of am but I am also kind of not. At the same time.
I've been looking forward to what (new) thing Supergiant would come up with next.
But I also did want more of Hades.
That I didn't get the former is made up for by the latter. At least enough to not upset me.
I want to see them do more sports stuff, even if it just as a minigame part of another game.
I'm happy we're getting this game but I feel like they'll have trouble going back to more experimental releases going forward. Hades was such a success that it's bound to change the company's culture, every new thing they do will have to be "the next Hades".
Not really. When you think about it Transistor was pretty much a sequel to Bastion. I think Hades was pretty much goat but it wasn't perfect and it's be dumb to not make a sequel to try and fix it's issues or expand on the concept, specially since SG is VERY particular in keeping their team small.
I'm glad it's a sequel, Hades already has set a good foundation to build up from and I'd love to see them fix the repetitiveness issue the original had, and I also want to learn more about how other mythologies play into that world.
I do feel kind of betrayed, I kept praising them as the indie team that kept trying fresh new things in spite of everything for a long time, and now that they have a big meme hit they immediately sell out like everyone else, it just means the games they made so far weren't popular enough in their eyes.
>ow that they have a big meme hit they immediately
anon, every one of their games has been a big meme hit. They could've conceivably made a sequel to ANY of their games.
Well, except Transistor. That one was kind of FINAL.
I am fairly certain Indie Darlings and The Internet existed in 2011 anon
You moron, Hades literally saved them from bankruptcy. It's the only reason why they're making this safe cash grab
Their previous game was a flop by every measure, and Transistor is a game people talked about but nobody actually played
nice headcanon too bad it's shit just laiku your waifu
If anything, the space basketball game was their bomb
You moron, Hades literally saved them from bankruptcy. It's the only reason why they're making this safe cash grab

Hades was insanely good & building on that success is a great way for them to set Supergiant up long-term so that we have a lot more Supergiant games ahead of us in the future. I'm all for it.
Generally I find new IPs to be better than sequels/franchise-followups. But that doesn't make any sequel/etc. automatically bad.
I trust the devs enough, and nothing in the trailer set up red flags. I am quite surprised that they kept it within Hellenism and centered around Hades though, I would have expected a sequel-type game to at least pick a different religious setting, like Egyptian, Celtic, or Norse. Easier said than done though, and they'd basically be working from scratch on the research side of it. By rehashing the same setting they can build off of the research put into the first game.
Yes but that's probably because Hade's became boring to me over the course of playing it.
I doubt I'll go into this one if it's too similar in gameplay style to the first.
A bit but not by much. I've loved all their games so they've earned the benefit of the doubt from me. I just hope they don't decide their next games based on whether it'll sell as well as Hades. That's how the studio would die. I hope they'll still do some oddball choices rather than stick to formulas.
I wonder if the guys that give you boons will be completely changed or if they will just add more to the list, we already saw Apolo so we know there is at least 1 new boon giver
This and the rest are basically better I have to agree. They went more creative the only time a western dev manage to be creative on zeus's design was neon abyss
My guess is it will be a completely new roster, with the possibility of maybe some returning ones once you clear the game X times and resolve the story. They have a few other big names still available, like Hera and Hephaestus. I'd expect Hades himself to probably be an unlockable boon-giver like Demeter was, except you get him after clearing the main story and properly rescuing him.
Speaking of the other mythology weapons I am still intrigued at some of the dialogue like how Hades warns of the influence of Lucifer's aspect I wonder if they will actually amount to anything or if they are just going to remain little secrets
I have a bad feeling that this game will suck and be nothing like Hades story wise, just from the trailer it looks like we are in store for a lot of "inclusive" bullshit and cute tumblr moments. The story will probably be a metaphor for surviving sexual assault or some shit.
You're on a quest to save Hades from Chronos though. Probably have to save the Furies too since they were the ones who chased around and punished Chronos the first time around. So most likely just like the first game the game will be about daddy issues. Or Grand-daddy issues.
Maybe I shouldn't say the game itself will suck because I loved the first one and I'm sure gameplay wise it will be good if not better. I just could barely stand the story of the first game let alone when its filled with women asking if its ok to call each other witches and saying gay tumblr validation shit to one another.
>The story will probably be a metaphor for surviving sexual assault or some shit.
I guarantee you the overall theme will be "generational trauma", it's huge among these types.
Supposedly it's when people went through shit and it's subconsciously passed down to their kid in how they act, their culture, coping mechanisms, sometimes abuse, etc.
In practice it's mostly Tumblr kids going "my parents went through real stuff and now give me shit for being gay, their must be a link".
I say that because Hades is almost the perfect figure for this. He's a bad father and the previous game's final boss, and now this game's antagonist is his own father that he had to fight and imprison. It's poetry, it rhymes.
>The story will probably be a metaphor for surviving sexual assault or some shit.
Considering Zeus' usual demeanor in myths that wouldn't exaxtly be far fetched.
Maybe I shouldn't say the game itself will suck because I loved the first one and I'm sure gameplay wise it will be good if not better. I just could barely stand the story of the first game let alone when its filled with women asking if its ok to call each other witches and saying gay tumblr validation shit to one another.
How isolated from other humans do you need to be for this to be your first response to seeing a trailer with a cartoon woman in it?
Hades is oddly good. >reddit likes it >homosexuals like it >Ganker likes it >even I like it >So popular that is got a full physical release without trying on someone line LimitedRun
How did these homosexuals from san fransisco pull off such a feat in the modern era?
>How did these homosexuals from san fransisco pull off such a feat in the modern era? >game is good >replayability value is huge >OST is great >art direction is great >voice acting is fine >basically every gameplay mechanic, even the replayability, is justified by lore
The voice is nothing alike? You sure about that?
I agree personality wise they are not similar but the voice is pretty damn close. Like a slightly depressed version.
But....if we dont make you do a whole side quest complete with cutscenes and an hour or so of dialog about the gods these weapons are based off of, you wont understand where they are from or their character motivation!
I lost my interest very quickly after seeing that everyone in this game is just a woman. Why would I want to play a game with nothing but women? What a fricking joke.
except greek homos disdained women which was part of the reason they were homos in the first place, they thought women were little more than animals and incapable of higher thought or expression of love.

I know that's part of her title (along with beauty) but I always felt like the execution is closer to "goddess of conceit"
Eros was the God of Love, Aphrodite was feminine beauty and passion. She also represented all the negative aspects of women and beautiful women in particular, hence all the stories about her infidelity with the OG Dark Triad Badboy & her women moments causing wars and chaos on earth
For the positive aspects of women, those were bundled up in Athena. Both Athena AND Aphrodite were likely syncretic divisions of Ishtar, or as she would've been known Astarte.

No that's the fairly specific reality of the mother and son. Eros, alongside his siblings Anteros, Hedylogos, Himeros, and Phthonus, are about various kinds of love while Aphrodite is about beauty and passion. She is infatuation and desire, the only time she might've ever done anything relating to love was Pygmalion.

Happy for you, Anon
I loved Hades, but I thought it wrapped things up well enough and so I'm neutral towards its sequel
Hoping for the best, expecting nothing
How does a mortal man express an intense romantic attraction for a Goddess without it being inherently Hubris to think he is worthy of making such a proposition? This is truly Hell.
Did you farm everything or just that title? I wanna grind out the stuff for everything in the shop but it's...like, a lot. I have just over 100 hours in the game and don't even have weapons maxed.
>In Nonnus' epic Dionysiaca, Aura, one of Artemis' virgin attendants, questioned her mistress' virginity due to the feminine and curvaceous shape of her body; Aura claimed that no goddess or woman with that sort of figure would be a virgin, and asserted her own superiority over the goddess thanks to her own lean and boyish silhouette. Artemis, enraged, went to Nemesis and asked for revenge. Nemesis promised to the goddess that Aura would have her punishment, and that the punishment would be to lose the virginity she took such pride in. Nemesis then contacted Eros, the god of love, and he struck Dionysus with one of his arrows. Dionysus fell madly in love with Aura, and when she rebuffed his advances, he got her drunk, tied her up and raped her as she lay unconscious, bringing Nemesis' plan to a success.
I hate homosexual men so much it's unreal. My shoulders vibrate whenever I'm around one, desperately trying not to ape out and give the police a reason to shoot me
I think she wears orange dress to stand out as a character more, same as with Zag's red. But again, if she's Persephone's daughter I don't get why she doesn't have the same hair color.
>If they went for a new IP everyone would complain about no more Hades content
Literally everyone has accepted Hades being finished, moron. Supergiant has a particular reputation for a decade at this point.
you'd know about twitter and reddit begging for more content, wouldn't you?
i'd much rather supergiant make new interesting games than drag the corpse of hades another mile
>indie studio makes good game >Ganker b***hes about game for made up imaginary reasons because they have no soul >indie studio gets successful & makes studio >Ganker b***hes because studio made sequel waaah
I don't think that there's any way Dora stays with the blob shade body the whole time. Once she's revealed to be Pandora I think she'll get a full art treatment with a proper body.
Dusa wasn't a shade, her entire species are made up of floating heads. Dora (if she really is Pandora) is a shade of a human girl who presumably didn't always look like that.
She's the final boss because even supergiant knows they're pushing it with a sequel already. Might as well bring everyone together and wrap everything up.
Zagreus was easy enough since he seemed to be an important figure for proto-greeks
Melinoë has some myths to her name and is often conflated with Hecate, so there's room to work there
We know actually nothing about Macaria, she's always named in passing and seems connected to some obscure proto-greek concept of death
She may just get rolled in hades 2 because there is not a lot of material there
>We know actually nothing about Macaria
true, little to none to work with.
there is another character with this name (hercules' daughter), but to use that would be way too convoluted.
Kratos may get a foreign god aspect and some skins or something if Sony offers money
Supergiant doesn't like doing exclusives(they used the epic exclusive program to help fund the game in early access by stealing their money and the running off to steam when the game was finished)
>they used the epic exclusive program to help fund the game in early access by stealing their money and the running off to steam when the game was finished
I fully expect the same thing to happen here too. Especially since it's confirmed it releases in early access. Even though they have the entire engine, entire combat system and like 20% of the assets done already from the first game.
There's already an EA announcement on Steam. No Epic exclusivity this time.
I think they only took that deal in the first place because Pyre left them in a bit of a precarious spot, money-wise.
I mean, as long as Hades II is as good as Hades, that's fine.

They just need to triple the boss encounters, it gets stale pretty quick
I'd be overjoyed but let's be honest here, that will never happen. As much as I love Pyre and still think that it's their best game when it comes to characters and writing in general, the game just wasn't as successful to warrant a sequel. But a man can dream I guess.
I wanna believe Supergiant would not accept such bribes unless they could put said content on all platforms, which Sony would not allow.
They don't have to, Hades printed money and this will too.
I'm kinda glad they're doing a sequel. Hades has a solid concept but the execution was middling. It's probably the weakest roguelike from all the popular ones. Hopefully this one will have better enemy, boss and level variety.
I want to see Cthonic boons, maybe even some directly from Hades. And I wanna see Zag seething that Hades is playing favorites because he fricking killed him routinely but is now helping Mel.
since we're apparently starting in the surface world, there's a lot of potential for shades who want something brought back to folks on the surface
>odysseus saying farewell to his son+wife after he passes >castor/pollux telling you to bring a message back to the other twin, only for the same twin to reappear in the world of the living because of the whole body switching thing >daedalus+icarus bickering about the exact altitude at which wings melt
So how are they going to explain away Mel's deaths considering her mission is to invade the Underworld, not escape it? Zagreus and all his foes were in Hell, they came back because where else would they end up? But how does Mel die in Hell and respawn on the surface?
is summoning her over and over
I imagine they'll do this. Every time she dies she's "saved" at the last second by Hecate and brought back to the start. I'll miss Hades mocking the player for dying though.
Hopefully. Zag and Hades had some great back and forth. His mocking also helped to better motivate the player to beat him as he was a constant presence every time you returned. They have their work cut out for them if they hope to reach some of the same heights.
it's an isometric roguelite button smasher + dating sim in which even the genre is justified by the lore.
the art direction is amazing, everything works. after you see all the weapons, the replayability is subjective: do you wanna keep strengthening the relations you have developed? do you wanna see the true end? do you care about the "sidequests" (fixing other chars' relationships)? are you into speedrunning?
even if you answer "no" to all, the game is still good.
Depends on what you like in a game. It's a Roguelike, which I normally don't enjoy, but there are permanent upgrades you can give your character, weapons you can unlock and upgrade, etc. so there's still a sense of progression. The primary gameplay loop has you going through various floors to get to the surface and, as you do so, you're gifted random "Boons" from various gods, which will power you up during that run. Different gods have different aspects they enhance, and they can play really interestingly off of one another as well as offer unique mixed boons if you get two gods' boons in the same run.
As you die, the story will progress in the hub and you'll have lots of characters to talk to and interact with, which is a lot of fun. It's honestly what had me as hooked as I was, since the characters are great and the writing is surprisingly good. When you eventually make it to the surface (on average, it takes people about 40 attempts or so,) there's a postgame of sorts to unlock the true ending, which relies on building relationships and the like.
The gameplay itself is fast paced and lots of fun -- it's hard to communicate in video, really, as the game feels a lot better than it looked to me when I looked at reviews or whatever. Learning how to hunt down specific boons and combinations of boons, getting a god-tier run or even getting a shit run and pushing through it feels really good.
for a game that is $20 it is very good. The replay value is arguable since as many anons have said in this thread, the variety isn't great and many boons/powerups are fairly useless. But it's good to play for a bit up until you see the credits. Any more than that is honestly just going to kill your interest.
t. 200 hours in the game
what's up with her waist
not cute. but definitely SEX
>what's up with her waist
it's her biggest feature.
>what's up with her waist
Superior godlike physiology.
Tightly laced corset, obviously.
The lady in charge of art at Supergiant is based and likes drawing attractive girls
It's called female anatomy
>grown man using the word "cute"
>linking to an irrelevant thread
why?
it's as bad if grown women use it as well you incel simp
What's even the point of girls being cute if men aren't allowed to appreciate cuteness?
mate I think youre just a nonce
it's one thing saying a girl is cute. it's another to to say
"she is a cute!" like a moronic anime character.
Anon have you considered where you are?
>t. not a cute person
That's not cute at all, anon-kun
cute
they're going to be scraping the middle of the barrel to find a pantheon of new deities
i'd wager they'll reuse chaos
Why are there redditors in Ganker I just wanna shit on these woke games and you can't stop me loser.
Zagreus was already underneath the barrel, but they've still got half of the twelve Olympians to go through before they even have to consider more obscure gods like Asclepius and Eris.
>obscure
>Eris
have a nice day homosexual
>Nemesis, Apollo, and Hecate seen in trailer
>Eris and Hestia have weapon aspects in the first game even
>Other notable Greek gods they might use without reusing any from the previous game: Pan, Hephaestus, Prometheus, Atlas, Gaia
If they don't have Hera and Heracles in this, I'd be surprised.
>implying greek mythos has only a dozen so gods
Jesus frick read a book about the mythology you uncultured fricks
But they already used the Greek gods.
Yes they used around 10ish% of the total mythos, not even the most popular ones were used in the first one
But they already used the Greek gods?
There are plenty more greek gods that are unused
But they already used the Greek gods?!
So if the first game had Achilles, will this game have HECTOOOOOOOOOOOOR
They didn't use Kratos from the hit Playstation series God of War.
BUT YOURE A MASSIVE moron?
Not all of them
to be fair i think the bit about reusing chaos is probably because a lot of people like the chaos mechanic. they'll either still have them or find some other twist on the idea
why would I want to read ancient greek porn where zeus disguises himself as animals and fricks women
>not wanting to read the tale of Zeus turning himself into a Goose and impregnating women
why wouldn't you?
not a furry for starters
that's the best part
>I swear Greek Mythology is just like all the eroge I play.
what games
Rance. Bunny Black. Kaidori. Duel Savior. Kyonyuu Fantasy. Black Souls. Bible Black. SEQUEL. Lulufarea. Sumaga.
And more.
Anon there are like 2 people on board who know what Theogony is.
>Oceanids
>Rhodea
Damn... genshin did its homework.
>God of fertility and self-castration
I have questions
Shhhhh anon. It's just like how Artemis is the goddess of virgin girls but also childbirth
Just more gods with boons and double the bosses and I'm a happy boy
Is this still greek mythos? I don't recognize any of these fricks.
read a book
>Doesn't recognise Hecate, Apollo, or motherfricking Kronos
Come on now
Oh, there are HUNDREDS of Greek gods, they can keep using Greek mythos for as long as they want
Damn brat!
Needs box correction!!
Swear to christ if we can romance but not frick this thing like with snek I'm going to be super grumpy.
Yes, all the time when I'm looking at you
>pandora got relegated to a barely detailed soul
KI's groomer sassy pandora is still the best depiction of the character to this day
I think this is how their placeholders look this time
Pandora of course will get more detailed art on the future but their base has been great so far
Making Pandora a bratty b***h is perfect
The memories damn
Even if Hades' Hades is the more realistic depiction of the character, Kid Icarus' Hades is the best one
James Woods Hades is the best.
I swear to god if they make her Asexual too I'm gonna flip
Dusa wasn't asexual, she just wasn't into Zagreus
She's just a floating head in a Greek mythology setting against a Greek god. What she wants does not matter.
Wasn't Nemesis of the Norse pantheon? The frick is she doing in greece?
>Wasn't Nemesis of the Norse pantheon?
No. That was never a thing.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nemesis
No.
Nemesis's Sword was even an aspect for Stygius in the first game, where she's referenced as one of Nyx's daughters.
sword of nemesis is best sword
So the MC is Zeus's sister?
Zagreus sister. Her name is Melinoe. Apparently Hades and Persephonie got busy after the ending of the first game
Oh I thought her father line was directed towards Chronos.
Zagreus also was originally the son of Zeus and Persephone, not Hades. Supergiant took creative liberties. They are doing the same for Melione.
Supergiant is just trying to make their own logical fancanon.
Melly is Zeus vis Persephone in some tellings and Hades in others.
If we assume it's a direct sequel, which seems logical, she is probably Zagreus' little sister since the whole conceit of the first game was Peresephone and Hades split up after Zagreus "died" as a baby. IIRC didn't Hades do something dire to get Zagreus back, or was it handwaved as Zagreus dual nature being fricky?
>f we assume it's a direct sequel
Already confirmed in their webpage its a direct sequel
Hades and Zeus going to be arguing which one of them fricked their niece in the form of Hades in the form of a snake?
You should do the same
You can want both things
They made a shitzillion dollars from Hades. Even my normie friends played Hades.
It makes sense to capitalize on it.
>couldn't this be a DLC?
Same reason why Silksong isnt DLC. If they can capitalize on the success, and making people that wanted more Hades happy why wouldnt they do it?
From a buisness standpoint is the best bet
>b-but they should take risks and...
I'm sorry you can't read.
>why Hades II?
Because Hades, for all its excellence, was fairly sparse from a content perspective. Things like the incomplete pantheon, the lack of boss variety, the lack of alternate completion goals, etc made the rougelite aspect of the game feel sparse. The replayability of the game came from its fricking huge amount of voice lines and narrative, and that the gameplay loop was really strong. Most of my complaints could have been addressed by DLC for Hades, but a sequel isn't bad, especially if they're adding completely novel systems like whatever 'Magick' will be.
As for games like Bastion and Pyre, they're older games they may be obsoleted in someways but they're still complete experiences, of all of supergiants games I think that Hades is actually the one that needed extra work the most.
you just justified a Hades DLC, congrats
That one was kind of FINAL.
>anon, every one of their games has been a big meme hit
Not even remotely, the concept barely existed when Bastion released
I am fairly certain Indie Darlings and The Internet existed in 2011 anon
nice headcanon too bad it's shit just laiku your waifu
If anything, the space basketball game was their bomb
Indie darling =/= meme hit
You moron, Hades literally saved them from bankruptcy. It's the only reason why they're making this safe cash grab
Their previous game was a flop by every measure, and Transistor is a game people talked about but nobody actually played
pyre flopped?
I'd rather they do another hades (which was a great game) than a new IP on the same level as Pyre
Hades was insanely good & building on that success is a great way for them to set Supergiant up long-term so that we have a lot more Supergiant games ahead of us in the future. I'm all for it.
No, because I'm absolutely sure they will move on to a new IP after Hades 2 is done.
I hope they'll still do some oddball choices rather than stick to formulas.
>woke character design
Disgusting
>western "female" design
OHNONONONO
Is Nemesis Nyx's sister or daughter?
daughter
Staaaaaaars
Since there's a female MC this time and there's love interests, will there be a wimpy male you can pair the MC up with?
Sapphic love best love
I wonder if the guys that give you boons will be completely changed or if they will just add more to the list, we already saw Apolo so we know there is at least 1 new boon giver
>western woke shit designs
kek NIPchads wins again
This is an actual japanese Zeus.
>post headcanon zeus form
literally seething lmao
your woke trash designs are garbage
Behold the best design
WE DANGANRONPA NOW
joke aside is better than western shit designs
This and the rest are basically better I have to agree. They went more creative the only time a western dev manage to be creative on zeus's design was neon abyss
>tio aquaman
Lel
>fujocebo
my sides
My guess is it will be a completely new roster, with the possibility of maybe some returning ones once you clear the game X times and resolve the story. They have a few other big names still available, like Hera and Hephaestus. I'd expect Hades himself to probably be an unlockable boon-giver like Demeter was, except you get him after clearing the main story and properly rescuing him.
Imagine the porn
Hercules when?
voiced by Kevin Sorbo
>spoiler
He did a smite skin that you cant get anymore and it is awesome
too bad the MC is not a female, could've been great
>not
*now
Hey at least it isn't a white woman as the MC, otherwise Cerberus would have ended up as a romance option
They should do a chinese one or japanese one
They already had Guan Yu in 1, so a chinese one isn't entirely out of the book
Speaking of the other mythology weapons I am still intrigued at some of the dialogue like how Hades warns of the influence of Lucifer's aspect I wonder if they will actually amount to anything or if they are just going to remain little secrets
Other games have done those pantheons already, id rather hope for something more interesting. Aztec mythology is so hardcore
I wouldn't mind a chinese one, their weapons are cool
I have a bad feeling that this game will suck and be nothing like Hades story wise, just from the trailer it looks like we are in store for a lot of "inclusive" bullshit and cute tumblr moments. The story will probably be a metaphor for surviving sexual assault or some shit.
care to explain?
You're on a quest to save Hades from Chronos though. Probably have to save the Furies too since they were the ones who chased around and punished Chronos the first time around. So most likely just like the first game the game will be about daddy issues. Or Grand-daddy issues.
What the frick are you smoking
Maybe I shouldn't say the game itself will suck because I loved the first one and I'm sure gameplay wise it will be good if not better. I just could barely stand the story of the first game let alone when its filled with women asking if its ok to call each other witches and saying gay tumblr validation shit to one another.
Ah so basically youre a speedreader incel that skipped the dialogue of the game
Good to know, I can safely discard your opinion now
Good to know you are trannies who get emotional support from cartoon characters in a 20 dollar game, I can discard your opinions as well.
insufferable
kys your brain is too rotten to live on
Don't cry too much when you play the game remember you have a real life to deal with as well and cartoon characters can't help you there
>The story will probably be a metaphor for surviving sexual assault or some shit.
I guarantee you the overall theme will be "generational trauma", it's huge among these types.
What exactly is that?
Supposedly it's when people went through shit and it's subconsciously passed down to their kid in how they act, their culture, coping mechanisms, sometimes abuse, etc.
In practice it's mostly Tumblr kids going "my parents went through real stuff and now give me shit for being gay, their must be a link".
I say that because Hades is almost the perfect figure for this. He's a bad father and the previous game's final boss, and now this game's antagonist is his own father that he had to fight and imprison. It's poetry, it rhymes.
Generational trauma stories can be kino
>The story will probably be a metaphor for surviving sexual assault or some shit.
Considering Zeus' usual demeanor in myths that wouldn't exaxtly be far fetched.
How isolated from other humans do you need to be for this to be your first response to seeing a trailer with a cartoon woman in it?
It's called pattern recognition.
Devilishly meta
Hades "story" was shit to begin with.
Huh, I just noticed her sword is the same as the Aspect of Nemesis from the first Hades sword. That’s a neat touch.
>in a game with female MC
wasted design
why do black people want to claim to be the original everything except Africans
Africa is kinda shit
She's black as in the color but not African-looking. I didn't even register that people might think that until I saw the seething here.
I'm still bitter over Dusa and thus expect this game to also disappoint me.
Hades is oddly good.
>reddit likes it
>homosexuals like it
>Ganker likes it
>even I like it

How did these homosexuals from san fransisco pull off such a feat in the modern era?
Because they made a complete game with a ton of value when pretty much nobody else does nowadays lol
>How did these homosexuals from san fransisco pull off such a feat in the modern era?
>game is good
>replayability value is huge
>OST is great
>art direction is great
>voice acting is fine
>basically every gameplay mechanic, even the replayability, is justified by lore
also everyone likes Greek myth
acting is fine
The fact that Meg's voice makes me diamonds means the VA work is better than fine. Was she trying to do Meg from the Disney movie?
That would be moronic because those characters arent related
Might be moronic but the accent/sarcasm is hot.
also they're nothing alike
The voice is nothing alike? You sure about that?
I agree personality wise they are not similar but the voice is pretty damn close. Like a slightly depressed version.
>Potential for DEEP LORE with the foreign gods' aspects without lingering on it too long
But....if we dont make you do a whole side quest complete with cutscenes and an hour or so of dialog about the gods these weapons are based off of, you wont understand where they are from or their character motivation!
When it's good, it's good. I'm just grateful so many other people agree.
I lost my interest very quickly after seeing that everyone in this game is just a woman. Why would I want to play a game with nothing but women? What a fricking joke.
>apollo
>chronos
Youre blind
You ever seen a man? It's just fujobait like JoJo.
Greeks lived the Fujoshit wet dream.
except greek homos disdained women which was part of the reason they were homos in the first place, they thought women were little more than animals and incapable of higher thought or expression of love.
> incapable of higher thought or expression of love.
>their love god was a woman
Anon I....
aphrodite was the goddess of Beauty. EROS, her MALE SON, was the GOD of Love.
Both eros and aphrodite were gods of love.
Thats your interpretation anon... Greek mythos is really abstract and convoluted. Most people just see both Eros and Aphrodite as love.
because they are looking at it with a modern gynocentric polluted mindset.
That is you.
There are multiple forms of love in the greek mind set.
>interpretation anon
No that's the fairly specific reality of the mother and son. Eros, alongside his siblings Anteros, Hedylogos, Himeros, and Phthonus, are about various kinds of love while Aphrodite is about beauty and passion. She is infatuation and desire, the only time she might've ever done anything relating to love was Pygmalion.
I know that's part of her title (along with beauty) but I always felt like the execution is closer to "goddess of conceit"
She was also a god of war in Sparta and Kytherea.
"Aphrodite Areia"
Smite did it better and non pozzed
>Finished Hades like two months. Did every achievement, did all the post-game, farmed Darkness until I had the Unseen One title
>Lost hope of a Hades DLC because everyone I asked on Ganker told me that Supergiant doesn't do sequel, and anyway they were making some kind of race game?
>Go to sleep yesterday, why should I give a frick about The Games "God of War is going to win anyway" Schmawards?
>Wake up at 6:30, check my phone
>First e-mail read "Introducing Hades II"
Happy for you, Anon
I loved Hades, but I thought it wrapped things up well enough and so I'm neutral towards its sequel
Hoping for the best, expecting nothing
Why not post this version?
Man, i hate the smell clouds, i hate it!
i am cum
I really don't get the "dude pozzed art style LMAO" guys if you can just fap to any off-model porn.
who cares about artstyle
I'm not playing as a female.
Why? Politics?
How does a mortal man express an intense romantic attraction for a Goddess without it being inherently Hubris to think he is worthy of making such a proposition? This is truly Hell.
By being chose by the God/Goddess. It in most cases also turns out horribly.
>no pubes trailing to her navel
I HATE THESE GAY ASS ARTISTS
Zeus Almighty, Anon. Warn people when you're going to summon Eros straight into our presence with such an idea.
I fricking Love flowy soft long black hair on a woman.
Fixed.
I know greeks were homos and shit but you somehow managed to be a bigger homosexual than they were
I like it either way but still thank you anon!
Artemis CANON is big titty amazon
The ultimate sin of the ancient Greek world.
Breast Envy.
god just from the trailer alone theres so many good feet in this game its gonna be goty
too bad they took away our boy and forced us to play a femoid
SEXO SEXO SEXO
kultur terror
they will only be satisfied if everyone and everthing is bastardised and muttified.
WE WANT DIONYSUS
I hate homosexual men so much it's unreal. My shoulders vibrate whenever I'm around one, desperately trying not to ape out and give the police a reason to shoot me
This time Hecules and Iolausi would play the roles of gay-homos like Achileus and Patroclus in the first game.
I want her to rape me.
damn, porn already? now you know they've made it
Just look at her, no way she wasn't getting porn almost immediately
Yet we have such little porn of Nyx.
Mildly pleasant to see it's not dickgirl stuff, at least for a while. A surprise even.
yeah the futa/butches are gonna be all over her
I will now play your game
I like that her eyes and Zagreus switched colors
Skeleton jelly, skeleton jelly
>not skelly jelly
One job, brother.
Im not completely sold on her color palette. Zag's was really good.
Hers is kinda. hard to look at? Dull at best
I think she wears orange dress to stand out as a character more, same as with Zag's red. But again, if she's Persephone's daughter I don't get why she doesn't have the same hair color.
trailer was really green
she does, they just over did the lighting for some reason.
do you think she wears panties under that tight dress?
No, unless you consider a bush that has never even heard of a "trimming"
Not a snowballs chance in hell
How can people call changing to a female protagonist woke when it’s lore accurate and she’s wearing the shortest dress ever beheld by mortal man?
it's not even a dress it's technically a unisex robe meant for youths.
only trannies want to play as a girl
only the autistic need to self insert in to everything.
because some people just want reasons to be mad
Some people are just obsessed anon.
Election tourists just want to find things to be angry about.
I'll take Hades aesthetic and gameplay with a side of (possible) /u/ any day.
i have been conditioned to hate female main characters
99% of the time when a game has a female lead its a shit game
women characters are the new zombies and brown n bloom
her feet must be boiling hot.
Supergiant was a studio that always tried new things. It's a shame they went the way of the sequels.
You guys are impossible
If they went for a new IP everyone would complain about no more Hades content, but now that they do it you all are complaining about no new IPs
I hope your mother dies in her sleep tonight
>If they went for a new IP everyone would complain about no more Hades content
Literally everyone has accepted Hades being finished, moron. Supergiant has a particular reputation for a decade at this point.
>new threads every other week asking for more hades content
>twitter and reddit full of posts wishing for more content
>>
everyone has accepted Hades being finished
Sure
>things that never happened
you'd know about twitter and reddit begging for more content, wouldn't you?
i'd much rather supergiant make new interesting games than drag the corpse of hades another mile
blame Hades being their best selling game ever, after bastion each new game of theirs sold less and less until Hades
It’s one sequel, give them a break. I honestly hope they do another one after this just to get all 3 of Hades’ kids playable.
>indie studio makes good game
>Ganker b***hes about game for made up imaginary reasons because they have no soul
>indie studio gets successful & makes studio
>Ganker b***hes because studio made sequel waaah
jesus fricking christ just die
please
JUST DIE
>make a good game
>implying hades wasnt mediocre at best
How do people not understand yet it's impossible for supergiant games to miss
This game is going to be good just like all the others
overunder on how long it takes the twits to b***h about the "Sexualization" Of Melly's design?
That is a short skirt, holy shit
Bro check it out I'm gonna turn myself into a golden shower and frick this mortal
zeus nooo
How many more gods did they "Nigify" this time?
The main boss will be Zagreus because they are creatively bankrupt
are you moronic?
No Sir
Mommy O_O
On model Dusa sex
On model Dora sex
>she even has her own version of stygius
Reminder that Melinoe will have both male and female love interests but she can never Dora.
I don't think that there's any way Dora stays with the blob shade body the whole time. Once she's revealed to be Pandora I think she'll get a full art treatment with a proper body.
And then she'll no longer be appealing
You mean just like how Dusa totally got her body back? It's going to be a running gag that the moe blob stays a blob.
Dusa wasn't a shade, her entire species are made up of floating heads. Dora (if she really is Pandora) is a shade of a human girl who presumably didn't always look like that.
So will we get a third game starring Macaria after this one?
She's the final boss because even supergiant knows they're pushing it with a sequel already. Might as well bring everyone together and wrap everything up.
maybe it will be a trilogy but each with one of hades' children as a protag.
we had zagreus, now melinoe, then macaria.
How long until Sony money dicks in to at least exclusive content featuring Kratos and/or the Chaos Blades??
Kratos may get a foreign god aspect and some skins or something if Sony offers money
Supergiant doesn't like doing exclusives(they used the epic exclusive program to help fund the game in early access by stealing their money and the running off to steam when the game was finished)
>they used the epic exclusive program to help fund the game in early access by stealing their money and the running off to steam when the game was finished
I fully expect the same thing to happen here too. Especially since it's confirmed it releases in early access. Even though they have the entire engine, entire combat system and like 20% of the assets done already from the first game.
looks like it'll come out on steam and epic simultaneously this time
https://www.supergiantgames.com/blog/hades2-faq/
There's already an EA announcement on Steam. No Epic exclusivity this time.
I think they only took that deal in the first place because Pyre left them in a bit of a precarious spot, money-wise.
What if they're making a Hades 2 to fund a Pyre 2?
I mean, as long as Hades II is as good as Hades, that's fine.
The exact same game but with different weapons and boons is already going to be goty material no matter what. And if there were more waifu like Nemesis, it's going to be hard to make it suck.
It's not like they have a choice. They usually have polls to ask what the fans want and GoW is almost a sure in.
>which Sony would not allow
This is most likely the case, but I can't help but think about Sony putting their former exclusives on to PC.
Personally I don't see the issue.
>Bings get a taste of GoW
>Xgays get a smidge of Kratos
>PCobese get everything cause Master Race.
I doubt Sony would even want that since Supergiant would likely want original greek Kratos, not nuKratos.
I had a great time with Hades. Looking forward to this.
I'm kinda glad they're doing a sequel. Hades has a solid concept but the execution was middling. It's probably the weakest roguelike from all the popular ones. Hopefully this one will have better enemy, boss and level variety.
What ghosts do you want to see/what bosses?
I want to see Hector, just to get a possible conversation about Achilles.
I want to see Cthonic boons, maybe even some directly from Hades.
And I wanna see Zag seething that Hades is playing favorites because he fricking killed him routinely but is now helping Mel.
i want to see pygmalion and his statue wife.
there's absolutely no way that happens, though. it would be too based.
Chiron with a sniper rifle.
Atlantis-looking area had better have Scylla and Charybdis
since we're apparently starting in the surface world, there's a lot of potential for shades who want something brought back to folks on the surface
>odysseus saying farewell to his son+wife after he passes
>castor/pollux telling you to bring a message back to the other twin, only for the same twin to reappear in the world of the living because of the whole body switching thing
>daedalus+icarus bickering about the exact altitude at which wings melt
Meg is so damn hot.
>canonically steps on your dick and orgasm controls you
Based
>plate armor
>exposed thighs
>exposed pussy and ass for ease of access
I approve of this design
So how are they going to explain away Mel's deaths considering her mission is to invade the Underworld, not escape it? Zagreus and all his foes were in Hell, they came back because where else would they end up? But how does Mel die in Hell and respawn on the surface?
>Kronos constantly rewinding time because reasons
Simple as
>Kronos rewinds time
>everyone forgets what happened
Wouldn't work.
forgets what happened
Except for Hecate, the goddess of boundaries, who exists in liminal time and space
Hacate copies all of Melonie's memories before the rewind and shoves it inside Pandora's box. Opens it every run to remember shit.
>chronos rewinds time
>Hecate is summoning her over and over
>she's reviving as a ghost
many ways to handwave, it's magic
is summoning her over and over
I imagine they'll do this. Every time she dies she's "saved" at the last second by Hecate and brought back to the start. I'll miss Hades mocking the player for dying though.
I dunno, Hecate looks like a snarky one. She could just friendly banter about how she could have done better if she was 1000 years younger.
Hopefully. Zag and Hades had some great back and forth. His mocking also helped to better motivate the player to beat him as he was a constant presence every time you returned. They have their work cut out for them if they hope to reach some of the same heights.
You realize that all of these characters are immortal gods that can't die, right?
>play the same game but this time play as a woman
woah
Ok, is Hades actually good, or are you guys memeing?
Why not pirate the game and find out?
>pirating
I`m not a thief, also i`m moronic and don`t know how
>is Hades actually good
That depends. Was 2016 your first year here?
it's an isometric roguelite button smasher + dating sim in which even the genre is justified by the lore.
the art direction is amazing, everything works. after you see all the weapons, the replayability is subjective: do you wanna keep strengthening the relations you have developed? do you wanna see the true end? do you care about the "sidequests" (fixing other chars' relationships)? are you into speedrunning?
even if you answer "no" to all, the game is still good.
Have you ever played a Supergiant game? Hades is basically a culmination of all the highlights of their previous games rolled into one.
Art style, soundtrack and voice acting are all very strong but mechanically it's probably the worst roguelike.
Yeah, just don't try to get close to the floating head or you might start disliking the creators.
Why did they talk about time when referring to Cronus? Chronos and Cronus/Kronos are completely different people, right?
Everyone confused them to the point that even Plato tried to come up with an explanation as to why
God I want to be Melinoe
imagine a threesome with Nyx and Nemesis
